I stopped in for a little spring cleaning-- washed my duvets, insets, and bedding. The washers were plenty big to accommodate larger loads. The XL washers were $6 while a regular load was $4. The dryers were fast and only charged $0.25/ 6 mins. I was in-and-out in less than an hour. The facility was very clean and well kept. A coin machine was at the front and accepted $1, $5, $10, & $20 Bills. The staff was very friendly and talked to each customer. I was very happy with my experience and will be back in the future. My only hesitation, which would be with any laundromat, is that most folks were using bleach. I only washed my light and white loads in case residual bleach remained from previous loads. With the exception of one person, the staff is friendly and helpful. One employee however seems to have a perpetual disposition (guessing that was the employee that didn't say hi back to one of the other Yelpers posts). The price to use the washers and dryers went up roughly 20% a year or two ago, so it's getting a little pricey for a place that doesn't look like the decor has been updated since groovy was a commonly used term. In addition its also heading in the direction of ridiculousness in the fact that all the machines are coin operated, so you if you kept all the quarters you need in a side pocket, you just might tip over. Still the best place laundromat in town at this point, but they should be grateful that a new player hasn't come to town and unseated them from their throne yet, because it could happen very easily. read more

This was our first time ever at a laundromat, our washer and dryer broke recently. Executive cleaners is Absolutely amazing! We dropped off 7 huge bags of laundry, heavy blankets, sheets, bedding etc. it was just a little over 100 bucks. It was done in a little over 2 hours, folded very neat. Our clothes were even separated by size and gender and put together so nicely and they even matched socks! (The ones that had matches) lol. Definitely will be back! And I'm pretty sure the woman was alone, she did atleast 7 loads of laundry for us in less than 2 hours! Amazing! read more

I can't seem to figure out why people have scored this laundromat so poorly. It is the establishment I visit every other week and the staff have always gone above and beyond. They are wicked courteous and have helped me out in more than one sticky situation. The interior of the laundromat isn't much to look at. It appears as though its straight out of the 70s with wood paneling everywhere. But that doesn't affect my ability to do laundry. read more

Got my dress altered (length shortened) from here the other day and was pretty impressed with the price and work. They are significantly cheaper than the other areas nearby (called 3 tailors/dry cleaners in south boston) and this one was more than 50% cheaper than their competitors which worried me a bit but they did a good job on my dress. They removed the train entirely by mistake but they shortened my floor length dress exactly where they pinned it and did quality work. read more

They've ripped 2 of my dress shirts that I wear to work, and after begrudgingly reimbursing me for the first ripped shirt, the manager refuses to call me back to discuss the second ripped shirt. They ripped the shirt in mid December and it's now mid February. I've called and gone in to see him at least 10 times and still he has not given me the courtesy of calling me back or even returning my ripped shirt. And he's never in the actual location so I've missed him during each of my 10 visits. One of the rudest people I've ever encountered, one of the most incompetent operations I've seen, and a morally unethical business that does not care about its customers. I've been loyal to them for 2 years, and have spent a great deal of money there. I have not given them business since and I don't plan on it. Go to one of the other 3 dry cleaners in the area. read more

Pros: Relatively cheap and close to home. Cons: the attendants chain smoke right next to the door so the smell often blows in. 10% of the machines are broken. Also, the posted closing time is 8:30 but they actually close at 8. read more

I had a dress (my roommate's dress) which was beige, and which I spilled red wine ALL OVER. I fearfully dropped it off at Executive Cleaners (fearing the worst, especially because the woman who took my dress wasn't too optimistic). She took the dress and said "they're usually pretty good with getting wine out, but we'll see" and I tearfully left the cleaners... 4 days and 2 rounds of cleaning later, the dress is good as new with no stains at all! Love this place. I moved to southie two years ago. My apt doesn't have washer/dryer so I started using their wash/dry/fold service since day one. Friendly enough for the 3 minutes we interact. My clothes always have that "clean" smell after. Speedy service- Ill drop off before work at 7 and pick up after work. One thing though....I did ask them if they could NOT dry some things, but they said they couldn't air dry them. Whatever, still for the price and convenience you cant beat it. read more

The only positive of this place is that it is a laundromat close to home. They've changed their hours/policy twice within the past 6 months now without changing the sign on the door. At first it was their closing hours, which is still technically 8, but there used to be a sign on the door stating "last loads before 8" (which I have started around 6:45pm before with no problems) and one day I walk in at 6 where she says "we close at 8, no last loads after 6." This is when I noticed the sign about last loads before 8 was no longer on their door. Now I come to do laundry at 6am before work, since I've done this before and their posted door hours still says "6-8", and the door is locked. I look online and it now says "hours 6:30-8". Very disappointing for the last minute surprise. Just be cautious when you plan to come here since it seems every two months they change their hours or "last load" policy. Ugh. read more

Shocked at how rude the owner is. He walks around talking your clothes out of machines so his favourite customers who use up the 8 machine at one time can get their wash on. While i understand it can be busy he was very rude to a young lady when she pointed out the fact he should have not emptyed her machine, i may have to consider taking my clothes somewhere else. read more

Have been here many times in the past. Recently dropped off a new dress worn once. It was white with a little colored decorative stitching at the top. After picking up from the dry cleaning service station I saw the red dye from stitching had run, leaving pink blotches all over the top. I brought the dress back, the owner looked at the "care" tag and advised that he "washed this dress" just like the tag says (it says hand wash cold, dry flat). The website I purchased the dress from instructs the same or dry clean. I left the dress with him to try and treat the stains. After thinking over what he said I called to inquire about how he had cared for my dress as saying he "washed" it when I dropped it to be dry cleaned seemed odd. The owner explained to me he only cleans clothing items based on what the care tag says to do and that if it does not say dry clean he does not dry clean it. Was a little put off by this, considering I often dry clean items that don't require it if they were expensive or are delicate. I asked why he then charges me $12 a dress to machine or hand wash them when I brought them to be dry cleaned. He was pretty rude, told me he's not responsible for items that he cares for just like the tag says, and all but hung up on me. I picked up the dress a couple days later, stains still there, and was told by a different employee they couldn't fix it. Tried the dress on at home to see if I could wear it even with the pink blotching, the dress is tighter on top and a little shorter. Hard not to assume he machine washed my white dress in hot water, and possibly threw it in the dryer, bleeding the stitching dye, then shrinking the fabric and setting the stains. Disappointed to learn items that I have been dropping off to be dry cleaned for two years haven't always been dry cleaned but I am still charged that way. Won't be going here any longer read more
