We prepaid $300 to have a house cleaned before putting it up for sale. The cleaning service was never provided, and the company kept our money. What makes this even worse is the complete lack of communication. We called and texted repeatedly trying to understand what happened and get the service we had already paid for. No response. No explanation. No refund. Eventually, we could no longer reach them at all, and it appeared the phone had either been turned off or our number had been blocked. For context, we had used this company once before and had a solid experience with the actual cleaning, although their communication was poor even then. We never had a disagreement, payment issue, or negative interaction with them that would explain what happened this time. To this day, we have absolutely no idea why they suddenly stopped responding after taking our money.
