My lash artist, Angela, absolutely nailed exactly what I wanted on the first try. That's when you know someone is really listening. It may sound small, but when you've had countless experiences of feeling misunderstood, it makes all the difference. She understood my vision perfectly, and the results were flawless. The entire studio has a calm, welcoming energy that makes you feel comfortable and valued. A huge part of that comes from the owner, Leslie, whose warmth and leadership are reflected in every interaction. This place truly feels like self-care instead of a chore. I spent a lot of time researching the perfect person to do my first lash extensions. Christy was…read morehighly recommended on Facebook. I looked her up on instagram "lashandfaceplace", and liked her work. She was very professional, and promptly responded to my Facebook messages and texts to schedule an appointment. It's great that she sends reminder texts the day prior to coming in. She is located at Sara's Beauty Suites, which is a building that consists of many mini suites inside. Be sure to look for #19 from the signs hanging above each suite. There is a private parking lot with plenty of spaces available. When I first walked in, Christy greeted me with a friendly smile. She listened to the type of lashes I wanted. I went for the natural look, something that was not too dramatic. She applied lash extensions attached to my own individual eyelashes. The entire process was non-stop work for 2.5 hours + with lovely music playing in the background - perfect for a cat nap. I felt very relaxed. Christy was very meticulous to get every detail right. My lashes turned out amazing. She even added beautiful lengths to the lashes. They really made my eyes stand out even when I'm looking tired. With these babies on, I don't need to put on mascara. I can just wake up, and be on the go. At the end of the visit, she gave me two brushes and educated me on how to keep the lashes lasting longer. The whole process was painless. Just a heads up that your eyes might be a little red afterwards, but that will resolve on its own. I am so happy with Christy's work that I have already booked my maintenance appointment with her. She recommends at least 2-3 weeks to touch-up on the volume of the lashes. You really do get what you pay for. Cheap lashes won't last very long, so it's worth it to pay for these. I highly recommend getting your extensions by her. She also does facials.

She explained how the treatment will continue to build collagen & elastin over the next 8 weeks. She provided post -op instructions verbally as well as Next Steps for best results. During the consultation I was of course asked for my medical history which I provided I let them know I had fibromyalgia at that time. (it is not the owner or the manager in the room with you during the initial consultation, so they are not fully aware of the information provided) I also opened an account through cherry which is a financial institution The Glow Method is affiliated with in order to pay for the procedure per their options. I scheduled my procedure for about 4 months in advance. I made several on time payments as directed. At my Pre-Op appointment I went in and discussed the procedure with Eliza and she advised me against the procedure due to my Fibromyalgia and how much it would hurt, which I was very grateful that she let me know at the time. (When I mentioned this to the manager later on, she brushed it off and stated she wasn't aware that this was the reason for my cancellation ) So I asked Eliza if I could cancel and get a refund for what I've paid into the procedure and she said it would be no problem. Well.. it was a problem. The Glow Method ended up refunding Cherry only a partial payment and they kept the rest around $1500. After several weeks of going in circles with Amber the manager, I was basically told nothing could be done to refund anything else as the Cherry account was closed and they were keeping the deposit of 20% of the total $7,500 which I was not informed about in any consultation (read the fine print ladies) Amber kept having me track her down to figure out what was going on which was incredibly frustrating. She just kept saying she's working on it... If she knew they were keeping the money, then why have me go in circles trying to contact them to follow up? The "transparency" they claim to have was not coming through. I guess the company must be in dire need in order to keep that much money for absolutely no services provided. At one point Amber even mocked and said, "well what do you want me to do give you a check? we don't have checks here at the office haha." This happened to a friend of mine a few years back where they also kept her $2000 cash and wouldn't refund it and that was not 20% of her total. (I had hoped I wouldn't go through the same thing I guess) So if you plan on getting a procedure of this magnitude keep in mind that you will lose any money you have paid into the procedure if you need to cancel, even if you were advised to do so.... This was an incredibly expensive "consultation" I guess I donated to a poor pathetic cause. Ladies there are so many other places to receive these types of services. Don't risk this amount of money on a company that responds in this manner when something comes up.. especially a medical reason. You just never know what can happen by the time your procedure arrives and you may need to cancel, you don't want to lose that much money.
