where to start....went for the Friday the 13th flash event and when I walked over the dog gate, saw…read morea baby in a playpen crying, adults screaming at the poor child, dogs and puppies running around, pissing in the floor, the workers vaping, eating pizza and cupcakes and a general unclean environment. while I waited with my boyfriend because he still wanted a tattoo, I was watching a mom and daughter getting tattooed and overheard them say that the tattoo artist was under 18 and was a Valley Vista student. his girlfriend who was all over him as he worked on the young girls hand said she was a sophomore and there was another young girl also practically on top of the guy doing the tattoo work. at one point the mom yelled at the kid because him and his 2 girl friends were laughing so hard. her daughter started to cry! at that point I told my boyfriend we were leaving. do not go here especially if they let a high school student do tattoos. Horrible place that should be shut down.

Go to his Instagram profile and look at his work. Then go look again, but more closely this time. Zoom in and you'll see even his best work is not that clean - his details are sloppy and his line work is incredibly shaky. Now, go look at my pictures. This dude really tattooed this and actually thought he did a good job. For context, I had a handful of tattoos scattered on my left arm. I (regretfully) gave him creative freedom to help fill in the rest of my arm to create a cohesive sleeve. Sloppy. Amateur. Unprofessional. His line work is terrible, his artistic vision is terrible, and his customer service is terrible. If you ever get the unfortunate opportunity to interact with him, you'll notice he speaks as if he knows everything. He tries to keep it subtle, but he has a very arrogant, egotistical, and condescending way about him. He tries to push his preferences/ideas on you and gaslights you into thinking his vision is better than yours. Let me put it this way: He does not care if YOU like the tattoo, he only cares if HE likes the tattoo. For example, Here are some alarming snippets he himself wrote on some of his older Instagram captions: 1. "I was told you have to do the tattoo exactly as the picture, but I've learned I am a true artist and I love to create and have fun with my artwork." - July 31, 2019 ^ He prioritizes himself "having fun", rather than creating something the client envisions even if there's a literal picture in front of him. 2. "Most artists always say, 'I can't get my client to do that.' Or, 'They won't want that.' All these statements are excuses. Any client that trusts their artist will not have a problem letting you have free range." - Dec 30, 2021 ^ I understand there needs to be a certain level of trust in the artist, and sometimes a client requests may be unrealistic. But here, he is essentially criticizing other artists if they can't persuade a client to get something, even if the client doesn't want it! It just proves he really doesn't care about clients' opinions! He disregards their ideas and would rather have "free range" to do whatever HE wants. PLEASE save yourself from disappointment and regret, and stay far away from this fraud. If this dissuades even one person from being tattooed by him, I'll call that a win. Chris does not have the technical skills or competency that is up to par with Black Castle or any high-end tattoo shop. He's a wannabe professional who thinks he's some deep, philosophical thinker. I'm not sure how this guy managed to slither his way into a good studio. He needs to learn how to draw a straight line first. Or just do us all a favor and change careers. And lastly, his breath smells awful.
