Around 9:30 AM, they called to say they had arrived early. She told them she would be home by 10:00 and specifically asked them not to block the driveway because she needed access to the garage. When she arrived at 10:00, the two technicians had already entered our private property and started working before anyone was home. One had a ladder blocking the garage. Both men were wearing earpieces, making it difficult to get their attention. After several attempts, my wife lightly tapped the ladder so the technician would hear her and asked him to move it. Instead of a professional response, he said, "Yeah, I got nothin' better to do." When she told him that he was on private property and that speaking to a customer that way was inappropriate, he replied, "You f...n' tapped my ladder." The other technician then said, "Let's leave," and my wife agreed. They left after only partially cleaning one upstairs window, leaving it streaked and looking worse than before. Since then, we've received repeated phone calls, and someone from the company came to our home pounding on our front door. We never signed a contract, and based on our experience, we cannot recommend Crystal Clear Cleaning. We encourage others to use caution before hiring this company.

After reading that they prune inside out, and not just hedge trim, I wanted to see if I could work with them. They did a HUGE spring clean up on about 1/2 my yard (the front 1/2), removing tons of weeds, pruning, removing mistletoe form tree, just overall, doing some long overdue love for this darling yard. I had done my best- but I just could not keep up. They even brought in rock and ensured irrigation was covered. While it was a little more than I had planned- it was ABSOLUTELY worth it. No other spring clean up service would have done 1/2 what they did! Worth every penny. I work 2 remote roles- and I joked with them that I would happily figure out a third job to be able to continue using these services in the future. We only did 1/2 to stay in my available budget- and will do the other 1/2 major clean up in the fall. Demian will work with you to get your priorities in your budget. Be a little patient if you have a smaller project- they WILL get to you and get back to you- but it is a small business and they fit you in in between larger projects. And in all honesty, they were my first choice, but I was also contacting 6-8 other similar services. Most never called back, or if they did it was weeks and weeks out before they could even come take a look. Demian and the the guys called me back, said they would be over to take a look and start the job a few days later, and ta da- my yard looks brand new again! Now I can keep up with the weeds until they come in the fall- and I get TONS of complements- my neighbors have all commented how good it looks! I cannot say thank you enough, or emphasize the value of what you get with these guys- they really know their stuff, and they will do things RIGHT, so your landscape not only looks good- it is also actually healthy! They said it was due to being backed up from the harsh winter. I was willing to wait and saw them several weeks later doing my neighbors windows. I approached them about our future appointment. Not to get moved up, but just to make conversation. The guy was nice enough to do my house that same day because he said it worked for them to knock it out. They did a great job and charged me and my neighbor (similar townhouse) the same amount of $200. This year we both rebooked with Fish and again long wait times, but I am loyal to good work even though they are higher in price compared to their competition. On cleaning day I had a lovely exchange with Dan (co-owner) and asked if while he was up on his ladder (next to the window) if he would cut two small branches from my Aspen tree. He said "no problem and was happy to help". I gave him $16 bucks cash and asked if that seemed fair. He was thrilled to make $16 for less than 10 min, maybe 5 minutes worth of work. Quick math that's about a $100 bucks an hour, not bad. He was happy and I was happy to get it done! Why the one star review? This year my bill went up 13%. That seemed high so I called my neighbor to see if her rates went up as well. Nope, she paid the same rate. So I wondered why was I being price gouged? I emailed the owner and asked if there was a mistake. He relented and told me fine pay what you paid last year, but my costs are going up and I need to raise my prices. Hmmmm.... I understand that and if my neighbors rates went up too I would have paid without question, but this made no sense to me. If you are going to raise your prices do so fairly and without bias. What possible justification is there really? No heads up before they came out that there prices had gone up. It just doesn't sit right with me the way this went down. I believe I was randomly charged an arbitrary amount because Dan thought I had money to burn, plane and simple. He could see that I work from home in an expensive neighborhood. So I must be rich, I must be one of those evil Californian techies the Bend locals love to hate. Unfair and discriminatory business practices, I hope to help others avoid being treated this way.

I was first really impressed with Jim (owner) fast response time with replying to my inquiry. He replied with a quote with in the hour. Not only that he was willing to come to my home to clean my carpets the very next day! He arrived right on time, he was fast and efficient. I was concerned about many high traffic areas and stains throughout the carpet but he was able to get everyting out and looking amazing! Their process is unique in the sense that their extraction device has a circular buffing pad that after educating myself I realize is not standard in the industry for a good reason; it doesn't work and potentially damages carpet fibers.
