This company does not have a business license in Bend yet conducting "business"…read more My wife scheduled Crystal Clear Cleaning for a 10:00 AM window cleaning appointment. Around 9:30 AM, they called to say they had arrived early. She told them she would be home by 10:00 and specifically asked them not to block the driveway because she needed access to the garage. When she arrived at 10:00, the two technicians had already entered our private property and started working before anyone was home. One had a ladder blocking the garage. Both men were wearing earpieces, making it difficult to get their attention. After several attempts, my wife lightly tapped the ladder so the technician would hear her and asked him to move it. Instead of a professional response, he said, "Yeah, I got nothin' better to do." When she told him that he was on private property and that speaking to a customer that way was inappropriate, he replied, "You f...n' tapped my ladder." The other technician then said, "Let's leave," and my wife agreed. They left after only partially cleaning one upstairs window, leaving it streaked and looking worse than before. Since then, we've received repeated phone calls, and someone from the company came to our home pounding on our front door. We never signed a contract, and based on our experience, we cannot recommend Crystal Clear Cleaning. We encourage others to use caution before hiring this company.

The day of the cleaning I was still asleep at 8a when owner, Chris arrived instead of around 10a as was schedule. Aggressive, bitter and griping for the inconvenience of the hour drive (great way to wake up!), CHRIS MADE ME UNCOMFORTABLE IN MY OWN HOME! Months later Chris called to collect on an invoice we were late to pay sent via email. I provided payment over the phone. HE THEN THREATENED TO ADD A $100 TIP since he "had to" drive an hour to clean up a shotty job by HIS employees! When I questioned him and called him out on being professional Chris got more agitated to which point I hung up. He called back several times, left a message saying "You misunderstood me. It was just a joke, I was kidding you!" Don't you hate that stuff?! I sure do! He attempted to connect through a different number minutes later. I BLOCKED all the numbers. Additionally we wanted to refinish our old oak cabinetry with a new whit finish. We interviewed a lot of painters and even hired someone different initially.(before meeting James) Luckily the Guy we hired turned out to be totally irresponsible and just decided to not do the job after contract signed and paid 50% because "he wasn't feeling the vibe...?" Anyhow that was a blessing in disguise. The first time we met James we felt very comfortable with him. He was VERY thorough in walking the house... taking notes... giving his thoughts. I liked him so much I cancelled the other quotes I had scheduled and told him immediately that I wanted to work with him if we could keep within our budget. He ended up giving me a quote on the spot and we scheduled our service immediately. He's a busy guy so we had to wait a few weeks, but as the saying goes... "the best things come to those whom wait." He arrived on time every day with his partner Jeremy. The two of them worked super hard and even accommodated some changes on the fly. I could not be happier with the work they did, and not only would I hire them again but I consider both guys friends after having them in my home for a couple weeks. I'm looking forward to having them back to do our exterior in the spring! Oh, one more thing... while James was painting our ceiling he noticed a slight bulge in one area that I never would have noticed.
