I am very popular back in my hometown maybe not for all good reasons. I come off as a whistleblower but one thing you will never call me as a liar and this last time I went to this establishment the DJ tried to throw shots at me as I'm walking through, which didn't really bother me as much because I don't even know who he is which I feel like it's kind of lame and childish and he's probably broke so I get it if I intimidated him in anyway I don't apologize about that however it's more than just about money cause that just says a lot about his character not mine so if you are a out of town and you're looking for a nice dining lounge experience, this is not the place to go. This is more for local if I had to guess I would say drug users so if you're not into that lifestyle, I don't recommend it. and although the food was good, I will never return back because of the disrespect from the DJ, which was unnecessary and very childish to say the least. hope this helps someone looking for a nice established lounge to visit. But really want to point out the staff and how attentive they were and how friendly they were. It was a cold night and they were efficient in getting everyone in safely and were knowledgeable when providing menu recommendations and setting expectations. The venue does provide a more intimate setting. There is more standing room than seating. So be aware of that when you book gen admission vs. any premium or VIP package that may be offered by the artist/venue.

All of the beers were like $18, even the garbage beers. I expect that price as we pay $19/beer at the hockey games but the arena offers a great selection. I'll pay $19 for a good beer. I saved lots of money at The Underground since they don't have any beer worth drinking. The bartenders at the bar on the left were not friendly and not interested in answering any questions. We ventured to the bar on the right and a few of us ordered mixed drinks.

This little bar has brought in a fabulous cast of DJs, even a non edm person like myself might recognize. Even more amazing is the setting in which these people perform - right next to the crowd. I was so excited personally to to watch Darude play a set only a couple feet from my face but also to snag a picture with him after, which is a common occurrence at Serj (many DJs stay after for a few pictures). They are also an outstanding venue that attacts a diverse and accepting crowd. For Charlotte this is truly a gem.

The short female security with a white stud was extremely rude, clearly didn't know the policies, and took my vape even though I'm 22, not even letting me take it to my car -- something that's never happened to me before. Meanwhile, right after, I saw a dude hitting his and another group smoking a blunt inside the club. They pick and choose who they enforce rules on -- personally, I've gotten free shots from the bartenders while other people get punished. Speaking of shots, they're overpriced and barely poured the correct amount of liquor. On top of that, there's tons of underage drinking, with underage girls getting into the club with zero issue, and I even heard rumors about human trafficking connected to this place -- completely insane. I used to be a regular and loved this place, but after this level of negligence, favoritism, and outright danger, I will never go back. They have a pretty awesome and inclusive bar menu everything from top shelf tequila to your usual Miller Lite, I think they have some THC drinks and some ready to drink can cocktails. Prices are on par for Charlotte. Parking is always issue so you'll probably have to walk a long ways or get an Uber. I'm really glad the owner of the trio in Charleston decided to open the spot in Charlotte. There's always plenty of restroom stalls in the women's restroom and it's always been clean when we've been there. The employees have been really respectable and nice each time we go even though I'm in the over 50 crowd, I don't feel judged when showing up at an EDM event to dance for four solid hours.
