After recently surpassing my 100th workout with Excelerate, a review feels timely!
I was fortunate enough to discover Excelerate through Instagram after coming across one of those infamous "12 Week Transformation" ads. Having tried quite literally every group fitness gym around, and even attempting to work with an online coach, I was skeptical. Like, could this really be that different? But with the new year approaching, I was ready for a change in my fitness routine and was feeling optimistic!
Fortunately for me, joining Excelerate really has been a life changing transformation. Since January, I've consistently shown up week after week, gotten significantly stronger, and even made some friends along the way! Despite my hesitation to lift heavier (I'm just a girl), Cornell, CG, and Callie are always encouraging me to safely push myself. And I emphasize safely because ya girl has been injured before, and that injury still haunts me! Somehow, I'm now collecting new PRs week after week.
I finally found a gym that I genuinely look forward to going to every week. From the moment Holden greets you at the door to the moment a coach walks over with another weight (because apparently I'm capable of more), you really feel like you're part of a community. Like...am I a gym girlie now?!
Anyways, I may not love hip thrusts or Bulgarian split squats (who does?), but I absolutely love this gym and couldn't recommend it more. No matter what your goals are, Excelerate gives you the tools and support to help you get there, from nutrition coaching to thoughtfully planned workouts. Honestly, all you have to do is show up and do the work. You'll see results, find a community, and perhaps even be convinced to try fantasy football for the first time!
I'm incredibly grateful for Cornell, CG, Callie, and Holden. I may add a little verbal seasoning when faced with a new challenge, but I'll keep showing up! Highly recommend Excelerate, no matter where you are in your fitness journey! read more
