This personal training organization really works for me. I have difficulty motivating myself, knowing what to do, and maintaining the proper form. I didn't want to join yet another gym when my needs are simple. I like the pay-as-you go feature of the service as it motivates me to keep going. I've been going for about five months and can tell a difference in my strength and confidence level in movement. My trainer is Rob Graveline, and he has been terrific. He's very knowledgeable and focused on what I need. read more

Pretty stoked about this place. I've seen a number of gyms and trainers off/on over the years, but this team has it *dialed in*, in all directions. Method Fitness business communication is absolutely professional -- from person-to-person communication, to email, to text alerts/reminders, even being greeted at door, it's all easy, correct, and smooth. My intake interview alone basically "sold" me -- Mateo and talked a lot, I unloaded a ton of stuff about details and goals and issues, and he heard every damn word and absolutely nothing was missed. Zero. He then rolled it into a perfect trainer selection for me. No surprises. I get text reminders about the sessions, and all the staff work together as a team, as a single team, from the moment you walk in the door. The facilities are perfect for meeting fitness goals. It's not a zoo of machines and noise and clutter and random people. There's plenty of space and all the right tools are there. There may be few other people there during my time slot, I feel like my trainer and I 'own' the the whole gym. No waiting for anything. No distractions, no wasted time. Where Method *really* shines is the quality of their programming. I came in with all sorts of history, glitches, ideas, and goals, but they surprised me with more. My beastly and superb trainer, Jack Walter, pays laser attention and is addressing stuff in *hours* that I had not fully seen, and uncovers things I never even noticed! And then he immediately finds a way to address it. The excitement of "actually getting somewhere" is real. These Method guys are *not* picking some rando workout plan out of a hat: it's absolutely tailored. I can't tell you how encouraging this is and how much hope it builds. For older folks, they put a special eye on mobility, injuries, and chronic issues and then target them for fixes. Speaking of workout plan -- I didn't know Method, and they didn't know me, and they had the steady professional foresight to schedule in a few "figure things out" sessions to see where I was, and how I responded to training before -- I repeat, before -- starting a regular routine. This way, they know the regular plan will address my particular needs, and that I'll respond to it successfully. Like I said: Absolutely Professional. Short Story, this is all after just a few weeks. I walked into this place thinking "OK, I'll try a handful of sessions" ....and now? My weights are going up every time. My flexibility and stability are improving. And I feel like I am going to be like the other people we see in the comments who go long and deep with this team. Really hope to see you in the gym! Get in for the free consult! All the best to your success! read more

Absolutely love my workouts with Rob G., at Method Fitness. He got me through injuries and built back up my strength for a happier healthier life. Thank you Rob and Method Fitness for offering such high quality training! read more

Making the decision to invest in myself and train with Aryan was the best decision I've made in years. Aryan and his team has an individualist, specialized approach to training and they work carefully with you to help get you towards the fitness results you want. Having never hired a personal trainer before, I wasn't sure what to expect. But Aryan made the process enjoyable, supportive, and comfortable! The facility is great and you really get your money's worth at Method Fitness. Look to put it simply - I drive 40 minutes in Nova traffic to work out with Aryan. There's no other person I'd do that for - he's THAT good! Do yourself a favor and get yourself to Method Fitness. read more

Method Fitness is a great place to get in shape. Personally, I chose Method Fitness because I wanted to begin weight bearing exercises but I didn't want to injure myself. My trainer Christopher really helped me to understand the proper weight lifting techniques and exercises. Now, I am confident when I workout and not concerned with hurting myself. I definitely recommend this place if your looking for knowledgeable trainers. read more

I've been working with Christian for almost a year. He has been an excellent trainer for me - I have some physical limitations & he is able to make accommodations for my specific disabilities. My commitment & follow-through has been stronger than ever w/Christians training. read more

Training with Aryan was one of the best decisions I have ever made! I started training with Aryan in September 2018. I have never been an athletic person and I have always been bad at sports. In 2017, my back and shoulders really started hurting, and when yoga and Pilates didn't help, I decided to give personal training a try. I have noticed a tremendous change in the strength level of my back. It doesn't hurt as much! Aryan creates a unique workout program tailored to you, your body, and your energy level. We train every Monday, and every time I see him, the workout is different and specifically tailored to me. Even though I'm not always familiar with the exercise, Aryan makes me feel comfortable trying new things, and I don't worry about feeling silly if I don't do them right. I credit Aryan for keeping me motivated to exercise and eat healthily for the rest of the week! I can only thank Aryan. Training with him has notably improved my health. read more

I am a female in my mid-60's. I came to Method Fitness in September 2024 with arthritis and osteopenia. The knee joint pain and stiffness as well as sitting long at my desk have limited my mobility. I also concern about the impact of muscle and bone loss to my health while aging. These issues motivated me to seek help from fitness training. I read the reviews and decided to give Method Fitness a try. I like the free consultation and pre-training test that helped me learn my fitness level before training. Zach is a wonderful trainer who has been tailoring the training to accommodate my health condition while challenging and encouraging me to bear more weight or do more advanced moves. He observed my moves and always cared about my feedback and how my body felt. He also patiently answered my questions and discussed any concerns we had. After the training, I practiced at home or at another gym with membership. Within just 10 weeks of training, my mobility and muscle strength are both improved. I was able to hike for 2 hours without knee joint pain and able to squat down (Asian squat) that I found difficult before the training! I can lift the weight I could not imagine before! Zach told me that I am a quick learner, and applauded my improvement which motivated me to work even harder! I do feel a strong team-relationship with my trainer. I am so glad that I chose Method Fitness and had Zach to be my trainer! I am having new goals to work with Zach in 2025! read more

Fantastic facility and trainer! Enjoyed my workout and learned a lot. 100% would recommend.

Hip new gym and Aryan is a very dedicated trainer! There's no crowd as they limit the number of people so you can train in peace.

Evelina was excellent in helping me start working on flexibility, balance, and strength after a lifetime of too much sitting at a desk. She had me do exercises that were customized to my needs, accomodated any injuries I mentioned, and was very flexible with rescheduling our sessions when needed. I was already seeing significant imprivements after only a few months. All that earns 5 stars. I deducted one star only because I was hoping to be provided a workout plan to use in between our sessions, from home, but maybe that's not Method Fitness' business model. That said, when I created my own list based on our sessions, Evelina helped me fine-tune it. read more

Aryan has been my personal trainer for 4 years now even before he opened his own gym since I've lived in Nova. To sum it up, Aryan really knows his stuff. I've been lifting / functionally training seriously for about 8 years now and have witnessed / experienced many other personal trainers who simply fall short of Aryan's knowledge and expertise. A lot of other personal trainers would allow their clients to perform exercises with poor form, but Aryan prioritizes proper form, movement, and mechanics to every exercise he has his clients do. I've also been training for a kickboxing fight and Aryan has been preparing my body for my upcoming fight while prioritizing strength training and recovery as we got closer to my fight date. Because of Aryan's dedication and expertise, I feel much more confident going into my fight knowing I've done the proper preparation and strength training my body needs as an athlete. You will be in good hands with Aryan. read more

Aryan and the other trainers are amazing! You're getting all your moneys worth here. They know how to specifically tailor workouts that fit your body's needs. They pay attention to the tiniest and biggest details. They also create a positive and welcoming environment for everyone! Another huge thing is that their communication is very clear and intentional. This is very hard to find in a lot of gyms. They show a great amount of professionalism! It truly shows that they are very knowledgeable and know how to train each individual body! read more

Aryan is a fantastic trainer. He makes sure to tailor workouts according to my fitness goals, explains the benefits of the exercises we're doing, and consistently shows me new exercises. He's a good, personable dude who cares about doing a great job. read more

I have been training with Mateo Moore at Method Fitness for about six months. It truly has been a great experience. Mateo has helped me perfect my form and helped me better train underutilized muscles. I've also learned new exercises that I have incorporated into my regular workout routine. If you're looking for a great place to train, Method Fitness has it all from professional and knowledgeable trainers to top shelf equipment. read more

Honestly it's sad that 7 stars isn't an option b/c Method Fitness deserves it. I have had chronic pain the past 8 years of my life going from doctor to doctor . Aryan has become a huge stakeholder in my recovery journey. It is amazing how so many gyms/memberships don't teach the proper way to SAFELY train. This has reinvented the way I look at training. 10000% worth the investment. The staff is so so nice and super willing to communicate and customize your experience. read more

I've been training at Method for 6 months and I couldn't be more pleased with the facility, the management and especially my Trainer, Christian. The facility is kept exceptionally clean and the management is responsive to requests. Christian is a phenomenal trainer. I have worked with other trainers at different facilities and I have never had a trainer as patient, effective, knowledgeable and fun as Christian. He actually makes me look forward to our sessions, which is a genuine miracle. I live about 30 minutes away and a lot of other facilities are closer but Christian and Method are more than worth the drive. I can highly recommend Method. read more

I've been meeting with Aryan for almost 3 years now, and could not be more satisfied with the work he's done to assist me in reaching my health and fitness goals. I have been able to push my limits in ways I could not have done alone, and have seen a marked difference in myself before and after working with Aryan. A+. Highly Recommended! read more

Method fitness is a life-changing gym you must experience! Hands-down, Aryan and Mateo are the best personal trainers in the DMV. They are both personable and make it fun and enjoyable to train... I always looked forward to 6am workout sessions. The entire staff do an excellent job motivating you to keep moving and stay focused on achieving your fitness goals. I routinely trained with Aryan for 2 years and achieved my goals of leaning out, building endurance, and strengthening my core. Aryan's expertise helped me increase my strength and drop fifty pounds simultaneously in one year. This is the only gym that makes core workouts enjoyable (without having to sign-up for Body Pump or Pilates), and you see improvement within 30 days. The best part of all is that I know Aryan genuinely cared about me reaching my fitness and health goals. I know that I would have never achieved the level of fitness and wellness I have in 1 year, if not for Aryan's expertise and dedication to helping me succeed. He is always encouraging and has a vast knowledge of his profession. He ensures that my technique is always correct to avoid any injuries. He is extremely reliable and punctual - always set up & ready to start training ahead of time, with an exercise routine planned. He knows how to motivate me; he makes each of my training sessions challenging but rewarding. I am so pleased with the personal training I received and the lifelong results that I achieved. I would recommend this gym to anyone to help jump start or maintain your fitness and health goals. read more

I've been working with Mateo for about 12 weeks now and couldn't be happier. I love the set up of the studio - just the trainers and their clients, so no more than six people total at any given time when I've been, and all the equipment needed. Mateo does a great job of articulating exactly what I should be feeling when using proper form (i.e., "push from your heel," or "pull your shoulders in and down," etc), and which muscles I should be engaging with each exercise. And each workout builds on the last ones, with my progress documented each week. I have worked with trainers in the past who clearly just had a repertoire of exercises/workouts that they pulled from, without taking into consideration my own situation and abilities, but that is not the case here at all. I feel better, am stronger, and highly recommend Method Fitness! read more

I've been training with Aryan for almost two years now and can confidently say I've never looked or felt better! Aryan takes the time to understand your body, your goals, and any limitations you might have to tailor a workout regimen specific to you. He has an incredible understanding of how best to help people achieve their goals with creative and interesting exercises, but still gets back to basics in his emphasis of proper technique and form. He also takes the time to understand your lifestyle and any time constraints you might have so that you can still find time to get in the most efficient workout. He's also incredibly warm and friendly so time flies chatting during the workout (which isn't always a bad thing when it gets intense!) Overall, whatever your goals are, Aryan will design a program to help you achieve them in the most efficient, yet safe way possible! read more

All my life I've struggled with chronic back pain, and Aryan at Method Fitness has helped me tremendously. It is extremely evident that he understands how the body moves and functions at a deeply technical level as he always goes above and beyond to explain the "why" behind a movement (in simple and intuitive terms, too!). I can always tell that my workouts are very thoughtfully put together, as they are so well-tailored to accommodate my specific limitations (injuries, lack of mobility in certain areas, etc.), but at the same time fun and challenging in new ways. Not only has Aryan helped to alleviate my back pain, but he has also reinforced the basic, CORRECT how-to's of lifting/strength training so that I am able to keep continue building on my progress properly in the future. read more

I have worked with 2 trainers at Method and am currently working with Evelina. I had never had a dedicated trainer before this but I am seeing a lot of positive changes. Evelina is super attentive and is always finding new ways to challenge me. She listens during the initial session in addition to changing goals. She can also modify her approach if you are feeling under the weather etc. I highly recommend this place! read more

I've been working with Aryan for close to 3 years now, and not only has he been helping me meet my fitness goals, but he's also been helping me deal with a chronic upper shoulder pain I've had for years. Aryan's philosophy is more about holistic well-being and strength conditioning/building. More than just focusing on aesthetics, he is helping me build a life-long fitness program that is not only measurable, but also sustainable. In addition to making sure that we are working the muscle groups I need to strengthen to ameliorate my chronic shoulder pain, he also ensures that my cardiac and postural health remain sound. While my chronic shoulder pain has significantly decreased since I started working with Aryan, I also feel much stronger and I am more confident of myself both in terms of appearance and overall physical health. His sessions are designed to push yourself to the limit without over-stressing your body. He is very meticulous about making sure that you are not inflicting pain or carrying out injury-attracting actions during exercises. He will ask you several times whether the correct muscles are being activated, if not, he will pause and guide you through the exercise again. On top of all this, he provides you with dietary advice, and he does this with care, making sure not to upset your financial thresholds and respecting your choice in food. All in all, Aryan understands that most of us are not professional athletes, and he designs his programs with that expectation and reality. I would highly recommend Aryan to anyone looking for a general fitness guide or to anyone looking to put on mass and/or become stronger. read more
