First experience was amazing. The nail tech was very meticulous. Loved my nails. My second visit was nice. I don't want to complain too much. I had my nails painted with regular polish. Well it never hardened. (They told me due to humid weather). Ok no problem let's do gel I told the girl the nail polish was too thick in a couple areas and it will peel. But she told me no it's just the glitter look. I also showed her a few small bubbles on my nails, but she just tried to file them. Well two days later I have 4 nails that are peeling. Im nervous to go back cause I don't want to be charged again after paying for a fill and polish change. What I'm getting at is if you get gel make sure they don't coat it too thick. Not only are walk ins NOT welcome as their advertisement suggests but if and when you do get someone to finally take an appointment for you, you're probably not going to actually be seated for atleast an hour after. Also if you don't make an appointment, there is no chance of being seen within 3 days of walking in Once you finally Do get someone here to do your nails, you'll have to get the repaired within 6 days. It's a very convenient location for me to visit and I was hoping it to work out well, But each time I went and they were rude, not welcoming, not thorough. I do not recommend this place. I love XL nails, they are so much fun to go to, they are always cracking jokes and they do a nice job as well

New to the area, I want to support local businesses in Hobe Sound and have found some great ones. Excel Nails is not one of them. I have been there three times, each with issues and do not plan to return. There is very poor customer service, actual rudeness and ignoring of customers, and no sign of sterilizing tools. The owner or at least the person that always answers the phone ruins it for all the ladies that work on the right side of the entrance. This person is rude and so disrespectful of clients. While there I have heard her saying " you're late...so your spot taken" someone else walks in with an appt. she tells them that there is a wait.....then complains that they ask how long. Woooow nothing like a business person to disrespect their customers I live in Hobe Sound and have tried to go back but I keep seeing this same attitude. Really good establishment.I stopped in on vacation to change out the color of my toes. As a walk in I was able to get service relatively quickly, within 15 minutes. The ladies were fun and funny and knew all their usual customers by name. The price point was very good $10 for a toe polish change ( some places charge a lot more) and I was very satisfied with shape of my nails. Husband and I visited for the first time to get a pedicure (1st one since the pandemic started). The salon was very neat and clean. The tech's were great and the pedicure was nice and relaxing. Prices are reasonable. One caution: they do not take tips on a credit card, so bring some cash. We are both pleased with the service and will be returning again. read more

TJ did an AMAZING job. Not sure why there are bad reviews on google but don't listen to them! TJ was super attentive and gentle. She took her time and made sure everything was perfect and symmetrical. It's easy to mess up acrylics and she was awesome. You also can't beat the price - $30. I love it!! read more

Always a family feel at this salon. The massage and hot towel at the end of the pedicure is the best part.
