We have been using Excel for transport within Vancouver and to/from Whistler for about a decade. We've used it for our individual family and a group as large as 24 in a private minibus. The booking process is easy, the manager Howie is responsive and easy to work with. The drivers are always on time and courteous. On our most recent trip, there was a terrible accident on highway 99 which delayed us 7 hrs! We had multiple families traveling on together in a large van, half children under the age of 8. The kids were going stir crazy and so were the parents. The person that was not frazzled at all was our driver Johan. He was with us the whole way, taking us to dinner in Squamish, driving us around town looking for a place to entertain the kids and wait for the roads to reopen. We ended up having to hang out at a Walmart for several hours. By the time we got to Whistler was about midnight, on a 5p planned arrival. Johan never stopped being courteous, kind, and friendly. I can't imagine how tired and frustrating the ordeal must have been for him, yet he never let it showed and it made the journey so much more pleasant despite the circumstances. We hired Excel to drive us around for 3 hours for a tour around VanCouver and then a ride to the airport. We opted for this vs. taking a cruise ship's bus tour for 2 hours. Their price was fair (and less than the ship's tour cost) and the SUV was beautiful and a very comfortable ride...and fit all of our (excessive) luggage for the 4 of us. Bob was our driver and was very knowledgeable about Vancouver, as he has lived there for decades. He told us about things we were passing by and took us to some great stops. He was flexible to go/stop wherever we wanted to as well. Howie was my main contact when setting up my reservation and his replies to (all) my questions was very quick and responsive. Our pre paid reservation was never sent to Excel. I called Excel and they were so professional and quickly called Go With Us to figure out why they had no reservation In their system. Arranged to have a pick up after disembarkation from our cruise on August 5. Had a large group of 17 people and was met by Andy from Excel Limousine. We wanted to tour Vancouver for several hours before heading to the airport. We were provided with a small bus which was just the right size and able to accommodate all of our luggage. Andy took us through downtown, then to a few locations in Stanley Park to walk around and later to Granville Island. He provided information about sights we were seeing and driving by. Used Excel for our summer vacation in Canada. We used them for 3 trips for our vacation. The service the entire time was excellent. The pick up at the airport was right on time. The driver was super friendly and helpful with our luggage. There was t of us so it was a lot of luggage. He drove us to Whistler and gave us an eta which was helpful for the kids. He even offered to stop some where so we could pick up lunch for the long drive which I thought was really nice. Driver arrived on time at 8am a few days later to return us to Vancouver for our Disney cruise. He was on time but we were late getting into Vancouver. Turns out Canada Ironman was happening on the day we were leaving Whistler and all roads southbound were closed until 1pm. Instead of not showing up, he drove in so we could leave as soon as the roads opened. I really appreciated that! Pickup was seamless on the final trip to the airport. My driver, I am so sorry that I didn't get his name (was running on day 3 of zero sleep), was literally the most lovely human being I've ever had the pleasure driving with. In addition, I already had a bad experience trying to get a high occupancy taxi in Vancouver. From the time of booking to the end of our trip these guys were flawless. Booking was super simple and efficient and very friendly. Our driver was waiting and had a prime spot in the garage so we were on the road quickly. When we arrived he unloaded all the luggage only to be told we were upgraded and would be staying at a different part of the resort. The driver happily packed us back up and took us to the other location. On our return from Whistler to the airport we had a little extra time so the driver did a wonderful tour for us. Howie and his team were all super professional and accommodating. First time i used a car service in Vancouver/whislter area (we usually rent a car). After some research i discovered rental car companies do not equip with snow tires. My family happen to go up to Whistler during a pretty crazy snow storm. I know 100% we would have not made it up the mountain in a rental. Howie's team got us there safely and these guys are true professionals, not part time uber type drivers. Nick, who took me, my wife and my two sons, 6 and 3, was very patient while i installed our car seats that we brought and got us to the hotel safely. Emailed all of them around the same time, Howie was the first one that replied, pretty much right after I sent the inquiry. I was definitely impressed when I received a response at 11PM. From there on, Howie had always been efficient replying my questions, and his price was also the most reasonable one, so I decided to move ahead with him. We drafted a itinerary with multiple trips to move our out of town guests from their hotels to the venue, and also made several changes before it was finalized. Howie was extremely patient and acknowledged very quickly each time when a change was sent to him. Nazz was our driver on our wedding day, he arrived on time and was punctual which made sure we were on track with the plan. He was also super nice and easy to work with. We ended up adding one more trip before his shift ended as it started to rain when we finished our photo shoot.
