SCAM!! SCAM!! BS!! RUN!! Literally run , drive pass this place , don't call them , don't do business with them. If you finance the car with your own bank good luck, they'll add 6k on top of the price they marketed on there website. They do that so you'll want to finance with there banks. Jesse and the manager are some scums and they only want to help themselves. They add so many fees and then when you ask to remove them they say that they can't do that. They are not for the people and they don't care about you or what you have to say. Also they be throwing little bullshit ass comments thinking they slick and sh*t. They act like they pay the whole amount they bought the car for in the auction. Like they really look at you in your face and think you dumb and not gonna stand up for one's self. Saying you've been in the business for 10 years b*tch please you been scamming for 10 years. Steer clear from this place. read more

Unprofessional and untrustworthy! I visited the dealership 2 weeks ago to see a car I was interested in. When I got there, I was told the car needed repairs before it could be sold so l asked the dealer to let me know when the car was ready to be sold (the car should not have been for sale on the website before the repairs were done anyway). I followed up multiple times over the weeks to confirm my interest. I was advised the car would be ready today and I let the dealership know what time I would be coming. On my way to the dealership, they even texted me to confirm I was coming and I immediately replied. When I arrived to the dealership the "manager" asked me a few questions then left me waiting in the lobby. When he returned, he informed me that he had "bad news" and the car was currently being sold. The manager was unapologetic and cold. The lack of communication within the company is shameful. Don't waste your time with this place. read more

Stop scamming and lying the customers. Don't believe a word on the web site. Stop selling packages that the customers never asked for but is scammed on you so a 10890.00 car on web sites winds up being a 18k and still don't have the car. Two weeks a loan for 18k and no broken car. The car was broken. Worst place ever read more

Extremely predatory. I went in to purchase a 13 thousand dollar car. There was a hidden cost of 6 thousand for something they passed off as free to customers. Beware of the double talk in this establishment. read more

I would give a minus star. Excel Auto Lounge in West Windsor is the worst place to go for a car. DO NOT BELIEVE THE PRICE ON THE WEB SITE. They are scam artists all of them. we went down for a 10,890.00 car and before you know it they add on extra charges that no one explains to you. Then they bring back the paper when you challenge them and Ryan says in his chair like he is better than us. That's your initials right I said yes but when I initialed the paper did not have any numbers on them. The salesman DAVID had me initial the paper without any numbers. I said to him do you think if I saw 18,000.00 on that paper I would have signed it when I came down here for a 10,000.00 car. I was definitely scammed. They never call you back and when you are put on hold they disconnect you. The absolutely WORSE PLACE. RYAN AND DAVID. STAY CLEAR AWAY. If anyone has a class action on them I would be glad to join. I wouldn't give them a half star. They switch the prices of their vehicles and the service department is the worst. I took my vehicle in for servicing since it was still under warranty and they kept saying there was nothing wrong with it. It drove fine for awhile but got worse. They then wanted me to pay $200 to run a diagnostic test on what I told them was wrong in the beginning. Took it to another mechanic and there's a issue with my four wheel drive system which I told them while it was under warranty. They have bad reviews from many customers. They are crooks read more

Lot of bait and switch, can't buy there cars for what they advertise . Wanted $4000 more if you don't live in jersey and won't sell car to you unless you finance with them. Doesn't seem legal read more

Absolute scam. They false advertise their vehicles and up sale a useless "In-House Warranty". Our vehicle failed within the first 30-days of purchase. They make no attempt in trying to keep a buyer happy after you sign the contract. We have spent an additional $7,000 after purchasing a $25,000 vehicle. Floor manager Sal is a disgusting human and has no morals. Excels Auto business model is exactly what makes buying a vehicle one of the worst consumer experiences. read more

I have now left a review on Kelley blue book and have tried getting answers directly from the dealership...They are terrible with their customer service. We went here to get a used vehicle and ever since we sat down and spoke about purchasing everything changed. We have had this car for almost three months and still have no plates. Since we don't have the plates, we can't get the car inspected, since we can't get the car inspected, we cannot have full coverage through insurance. We have told them this multiple times and now our temp tags have been expired, they have told us that if he gets pulled over, they will pay the fees...... what happens if he gets into an accident???? They aren't going to pay for those damages since he can't have full coverage. Good luck getting ahold of anyone, when you call, they send you to hold then voicemail. We will never do business here ever again, wish we could back out entirely with them. read more

As many others have reviewed this unscrupulous rip-off operation disguised as an "auto dealer", I am unable to leave ZERO stars or this case a NEGATIVE 5 stars!!! I dealt with Adam who told me the "CASH PRICE" and would look into shipping, and NO CALLS BACK. After several calls Aaron answered the phone and sent me to another "salesman/conman" and he took a $7995 car and quoted me $14,700 with all kinds of GARBAGE FEES!!! I was a cash buyer, and told them I would give them $8000 and arrange for shipping to TX myself. They called back and said maybe between $12K and $14K. I laughed and said NO. STAY AWAY FROM THESE FRAUDS!!!!!! read more

Hello Ladies and Gents, I thought sharing my experience at Excel Auto Lounge is the proper thing to do. I'm only giving them 5 STARS because they don't have a 10 Star rating system and then I would give them a 10. I was contacted by a nice, courteous professional lady, We set up the appointment. When I arrived I was greeted by Malek", (please forgive me, if I misspelled your name), he got me set up, accommodated me, took care of everything. THIS IS OLD SCHOOL CUSTOMER SERVICE, where you are treated with respect, No matter, what your credit rating is or how much cash you have. Shout out to Sal, what a great guy, Sal and Malek worked as a Team along with all the other personnel there. These guys fed me, while I waited for the process to be completed. I'm talking Tortellini, sausage n peppers, chicken parmagiana. Forget About It. Got me in a Nice Mercedes SUV. Patience is a Virtue Go See These guys You will Not Be Disappointed read more

this was so bad, drove 2 hours to get vehicle that they said they would hold, but didn't. Told me the vehicle was sold, so I left to go home and he comes over and says, it's not sold yet. They have the other buyer sitting there also, tried adding 7k to the price, also tried saying I had to put 10k deposit, I had my own financing, so I called them, that was not the case at all read more

DO NOT BUY ANY FORD FROM THIS LOT. THEY WILL SELL YOU A FORD WITHOUT UPDATING THE FORD PASS CLAIMING THAT "NO ONE REALLY USES IT ANYWAY" AND THEN SEND YOU ON YOUR WAY TO PAY OUT OF YOUR OWN POCKET TO FIX THE COMPUTER SYSTEM IN THE CAR. GO TO A FORD LOT ... MATTER OF FACT IF A CAR YOU'RE LOOKING AT IS 2017 OR NEWER JUST DON'T COME HERE.. also do not expect any sense of urgency or anything with this group of people. My sales rep Amy "forgot" keys to the car I wanted to test drive and took her sweet time going back to the building to get them. About a good 40 minutes later she comes waltzing back out to the car with a slice of pizza in her mouth claiming she was taking care of her previous customer after telling me i had her full attention.... Her sales buddy Aron is disrespectful as well. you'll be told "he's just old and has been here for 5 years" but this is no excuse for his attitude. If you were looking for a headache then this is your place! read more

the price you see on web is not the purchase price. they automatically add in a $2,995 protection package to the listed price. and if you say you don't want the protection package, you are forced to pay for it because part of the package has been applied to the vehicle. they don't want to deal. they want to add to the price so a $9,400 car ends up costing you at least $15,000. BE AWARE. read more

Stopped in on May 25, 2024 to look at a 2018 Jeep Compass Latitude (stock number JT369244) they had advertised for $11,992.00. After taking the vehicle for a test drive we sat down to buy it. After talking about price we were advised that the price on their website was their cost and that we would have to pay more. When I asked why they would do such a thing, we were told it was to get us in the door. When we asked how much, the salesperson then came back with a price around 20K. After reviewing the details we noticed that they had included a warrenty in the 20K price. We then stated that their online person had told me on May 24, 2024 that all their vehicles include a warrenty. The salesperson then told us that he had lied. I then asked why they would do that and the salesperson again stated that it was to get us in the door. Unless your okay with paying more than asking price, I would stay away from this dealership. We walked away shocked! read more

I'm going to start by saying that I am not one leave reviews on anything good or bad, but like my daughter I feel traumatized by this experience. I am leaving 1 star because you cannot leave a review without stars, my daughter went to this dealership yesterday to see a car that was listed at 7,897, she contacted the dealership prior to going to ensure that car was still available and that was the correct price, she also asked if there was a difference in price if she paid cash, as she was 1hr away and her dad was meeting her there he is 2hrs away, they told her that was the price and that they can negotiate when she arrives, she and my husband arrived, the car was great she loved the car, she thought she found her car, started negotiation: the car price $7,897+Resale fee $2,987+ protection plan $3,942 = $14,826 + tax, MV, DOC, Desk fees??????? Excuse me???!!!! did she not call the day before and confirm the price, WTF?!?!? I have never experienced anything even remotely like this, if you are selling the car for 14K then list it for that, and when people call and ask pointed questions and specify telling you that they are traveling far, answer honestly, they called the "owner over and he lowered it to 13K?? No Thank You. F... Y.. Very much, I would not recommend this dealer and after seeing reviews in CarGurus it looks like we are not the only ones that feel this way. These people are scam artist and dishonest. sleaze is being generous!!! read more
