would give this place six stars if I could, easily the most positive auto shop experience I've had…read more from the start I felt comfortable with their incredibly friendly staff, especially Daron. he was personable, honest & I found him incredibly trustworthy (which I literally say about no when when it comes to cars / insurance / repair work). he was honest with me about price, walked me through the quote as he completed it on his computer, answered questions I had as I debated payment options & was flexible with me for about a week as I decided, and setup the entire rental car. icing on the cake...when I went to pick up the car I noticed what ended up being some paint chips on the front of my car from rock damage (my poor new car ). he kindly brought out paint and filled it in for me!! not only on the hood of the car, but did an entire lap around to see if there was anything else he could fill in for me. hopefully my car won't require any repairs in the near future, but if it ever does, I'll be back to this location, and recommending friends & family their way.

Some of the cars are hit or miss when it comes to comfort, but I can't really fault this location for that (I think that's more of a corporate thing). If you can't get people there by 8a, here's an idea; change your hours. They are quick to charge more if you get there before your pick up time but don't offer compensation when they are late. This time I was "upgraded" from a Jetta to a ford escape. Not sure in what world that is an upgrade. The car may have been in worse shape than the one I took to the shop. Insider tip. Check and double check gas tank. I made the mistake and expected it to be full when I left the lot. The paperwork said it was but it was a quarter tank. My bad. Don't be like me.

Customers should not be charged for additional services when the company cannot provide the vehicle originally reserved. Once I explained how rental companies typically handle these situations, she refused to rent me a vehicle at all because I called her out on it. Very disappointing experience. Please be aware of these practices before booking here. No writhing of 1 start. When ask to speak to manager she said, she couldn't make that happen.

My car was totaled by a truck tire that came loose on the freeway and insurance made the reservation for me here as it was close to the dealership where the car was towed. My check-in process was efficient and took only a couple minutes, which I appreciated. Staff was pleasant if not overly friendly. The car I rented was clean, which has not been my experience at other local rental car establishments so I was thankful for that. Here are the areas where Hertz could increase their rating: 1. The office area is a bit of a mess. Every inch of available space is covered with keys and paperwork, this place is a serious OCD nightmare. 2. The low desks are also odd, I felt awkward standing over the staff as they worked. High desks with a counter would be more appropriate and also hide some of the clutter. 3. I forgot an item in the car and called as soon as I got home to ensure they still had it. The interior was disgusting and smelled like an ashtray. (Ironic since they upcharge a $400 cleaning fee for smoke or dirt). When I went back to the office to address the manager, she was very combative towards me and gave me the run around- the customer apparently is not important. I asked for a refund, and she was extremely rude to me. Will never go there to rent again, and it has diminished my opinion of Hertz overall.
