Just bought a new tesla y 2013. Looked around and found a few different places with good reviews. And a long story short, theses reviews for Evolve Film are NOT fake. Ended up moving forward with Xpel XR Plus because it make sense: in my case, blocking heat was more important than privacy. If the privacy is higher priority, then I don't think you have to go with XR Plus. By the way, Logan, owner of the business is really good at explanation and will try to approach things from your/customer's perspective. My conversation with Logan was about 25 minutes and he answered all my questions patiently. Just in case, there is a $60 insurance you can purchase for going too dark on front windows and end up getting ticket for it - this insurance will cover the cost of removal & put new (lighter) tinting films. Evolve Film Concepts deserves my five star review because they have outstanding products, competitive prices, and they are honest. I have had great experiences with other companies, but I decided to work with dan because of his open, honest communication I got tints for my new CRV and Dan communicated in full detail via email about his products. We went with his Xpel+ films, which is a ceramic tint that provides amazing heat reflection. Because we have a black vehicle with black interior, we just wanted to reflect as much heat as possible. We noticed an immediate improvement after installing our conservative tints. I didn't have a budget for paint protection, but he installed some paint protection films over the headlights to reduce corrosion. For the price that Dan offered this service, it's definitely worth it if it works! As far as honesty, he stands behind his products and his Xpel films have a lifetime warranty amongst any licensed Xpel vendors. I also discussed with him about other services that he provides (eg: ceramic coating on paint) and he was very honest about cost/benefit recommendations regarding my own personal budget/plan. I spoke to Logan regarding PPF and ceramic for my Jeep Wrangler. He was very helpful and thorough in answering all my questions and concerns. Unfortunately, I ended up working with another company because I chose a different coating, and although they did decent work, their communication was poor (several unanswered text messages). If a company wants my $5000 on my $70000 vehicle, they really need to be professional. Logan and Evolve were far better than the big-name company I ended up with. Apparently tinting a Tesla is a specialty not many shops can do or rather do it with quality type work. I have to admit you never know what your going to get and was worried. I have had BMWs Porsches and Lexus tinted in the past but none of them appeared to have the complexity of the Teslas glass roof. Evolve wasn't the cheapest quoted but were lower than many in the area. Dropped off the car in the am and picked it up about 6 hrs later. Did i mention that I'm a bit picky??? I couldn't really find anything to pick at, boys at evolve did a phenomenal job. I will be going back for the windshield before summer. I do have to add that 15% all around is definitely not dark enough, hoping the windshield tint will help with this. read more

I looked around for a tint shop that had good reviews when I was in the market to get the windows tinted on my 2021 Toyota 4Runner. I sent several e-mails out through Yelp, and got quick replies from a few of the companies. I read through several of the reviews, trying to find a place that looked like they would do a good job. I received prompt replies from Dan and Logan from Evolve Film Concepts. Logan provided a detailed pricing breakdown of the different types of films that they offered. I reached out to them early on a Saturday morning to see about setting up an appointment for sometime later in the week. Logan replied that if I were able, I could drop off my 4Runner, and he would work on it in between other jobs that he had scheduled, and get it done by 6:00 pm. I drove out there, and Logan showed me the different types of films that they offered. I ended up going with the Xpel Prime XR at 30% on all windows except the front windshield. I dropped off my 4Runner around 11:00 am, and got a Lyft back to my house. I got a call from Logan around 4:00 pm letting me know that the 4Runner was ready. I was shocked that it was ready earlier than expected. I ordered another Lyft, and headed back to Evolve Film Concepts. I met Logan at the shop, and he said the 4Runner was ready. Now, I've had several vehicles before, and I've been to several different tint shops to get the windows tinted. I typically find stray pieces of film left behind in the car when I go to pick them up. The other thing that I would find were water streaks on the interior door panels from the installers spraying down the interior window. Boy, was I in for a surprise today. I went out to my 4Runner, and Logan asked me to take a look to see what I thought. I opened up the doors only to find the inside of the 4Runner just as clean as when I dropped it off. No stray pieces of scrap film, no streaks on the interior door panels, no random pieces of clear film wrapper on the floorboard....nothing....and to top it all off, the tint job came out GREAT! I couldn't be happier with how the work turned out. I will be taking all of my vehicles back to Evolve Film Concepts so that Logan, Dan, and the rest of the team can give me that superior level of customer service that I'm looking for.
