Short Version: Brooklyn Queens Ductless A/C did an amazing…read morejob for a reasonable price. They were able to do the AC work and the electrical work so a 2 for 1 package, which is great. 2 day install for 3 zones on a brick house. 9 months later the AC's units and the heat work perfectly. Longer Version: My old 1928 brick house needed some climate control, but with the old infrastructure, I had no options except window units until I discoverd ductless! Better coverage, more efficient and now I don't have to lug window units up and down the stairs each fall and store them until the spring. The crew from BQ Ductless got the job done in 2 days, which I think is miraculous given how thick these brick walls were. They were friendly and professional; worked with me to ensure my wife was happy with the unit placement and got brown line covers to match the decor on the outside of the house. The instally was about 9 months ago and everthing still runs smoothly and looks great. I was only interested in the AC features of this unit but the heat has turned out to be a nice bonus. We have steam radiators which generally do a good job, but if my wife gets a little cold in the bedroom or kitchen, she can just flip on the unit to heat and it really takes the edge off in winter.

We contacted Rafail and he was able to come and check out the issue. He immediately diagnosed the issue. After discussing possible solutions, we came to the agreement to have the furnace replaced along with the condenser outside of our home. Rafail was very informative throughout the process which made our lives much easier so everything was scheduled out. He told me that he assumed I would just be home, and I needed to tell him that I have to go to work for him to ask if I should miss work. Do people assume that men are at home all afternoon on a Monday? Worse, he took part of our heater, and refused to give a price estimate so he could extort us for whatever random amount. He said that he would call before buying the part but didn't. He did fix the heater but did not give a receipt or warranty. He charged $200 for part and $300 for about 10 minutes of labor.

They took care of the permitting, rebate, had a licensed electrician upgrade the electrical to the system. During installation you can tell his team took their time and did the job right inside and outside the house. The workers were so respectful, even wearing booties and cleaning up inside after. They showed me how to work the remotes and maintain the units. The system works beautifully and the team was very responsive to my needs. Highly recommend!!
