Very strange interaction with this company. Had 2 broken HVAC units that would not produce cold…read moreair. Waited about a week during NYC's hottest heat wave in more than a decade for a time slot that would work for their technician. The technician probably spent 10 minutes looking at one of the machines. Did not take apart the HVAC, or use any tools to monitor any flow. It seemed like he gave a blanketed diagnostic and said the refrigerant was probably low and told me his manager William will reach out to me regarding a quote. The HVAC systems are about 1 year old. To my understanding, the refrigerant is a closed system, there would be a reason why the refrigerant would be low; commonly a leak or the system was undercharged by a previous technician. Nonetheless, it wouldn't make sense to refill the system with more refrigerant if there's a leak, it would make sense to address and fix why it was low in the first place. Obviously there are nuances to HVAC systems and I'm not trained nor educated, but none of this was communicated to me. I waited 2 hours for an email from Will, but I did not hear back. So I reached out to him and brought up my concern, hoping for a better explanation and solution, or better yet another more thorough exam of my system. He sent me an email 4 hours later saying that he waived my diagnostic fee (which is why i gave this review a 2 star instead of one), but he made it sound like they would not take the job. He recommended that I reach out to the manufacturer dealer instead. I emailed back saying that contacting the manufacturer wasn't an option and was the reason why I reached out to Fusion HVACR in the first place. A day later, I have yet to hear back form Will. I understand that this is their business, they are allowed to choose who they do business with, but based off this experience, it seems like Fusion HVACR & Appliance Repair are not reliable in emergency situations nor do they have the expertise to confidently identify problems in HVAC systems. I am still willing to change this review if the company reached out and helped me with my problem, but at this point it seems futile. As a potential customer, I would have liked to give my business to reliable and experienced companies, but unfortunately Fusion HVACR & Appliance Repair does not seem like one of them.

Due to permit issues we had for a separate matter, I had to reschedule with Mr.Air multiple times. They also had to hold 4 mini split ACs and two condensers for months because of the rescheduling. We had to change the order a few times due to changing our minds on the location of the condenser as well as electrical work needed. At no point did they complain or demand we store the equipment or move up the date. We had all of the ACs installed in one day (9am to 8pm), and they provided plastic to cover furniture. They didn't slack and didn't complain about my father hovering over them (he loves to watch contractors so he could learn; which I'm sure isn't pleasing to any contractor). Overall, the entire team at Mr. Air was fantastic to work with and so kind to us!
