In fact I never once got a "sales man" vibe from him. I was a little hesitant going to a small car lot but I was immediately put at ease when dealing with him. He really seemed to have my best interest at heart and I felt comfortable through the whole process. Which is usually the exact opposite way I feel When dealing with big dealerships. The transaction went so smoothly and I couldn't have asked for a more positive experience. He even followed up with me recently to be sure I was satisfied. 5 stars all the way! I would highly recommend this place and would do business again in a heartbeat when searching for my next car.

I purchased a used Kia Optima from Throttle Auto Group based on strong reviews and their promise to…read morestand behind their vehicles. After a straightforward two-day purchase process, the engine began "clinking," signaled error code , and died entirely. Despite their assurances and obvious signs the car wasn't properly inspected they refused to diagnose or repair the issue under any warranty. I requested a different vehicle instead of a refund, hoping they would uphold their word; again, they unequivocally refused. Now I'm faced with the cost of an entirely new engine--likely well over $2,000--despite buying the car only days ago. As a customer, I provided clear evidence of engine malfunction, error codes, and troubling sounds--all occurring within two days of purchase. Throttle Auto Group's outright denial of any service, inspection, or vehicle exchange is unacceptable. Their actions suggest they're more interested in securing sales than ensuring quality control or customer satisfaction. I strongly advise anyone considering throttle Auto Group to think twice. They'll sell you a car--but won't stand behind it. Based on my experience, they delivered false promises, unprofessional treatment, and no accountability. I will be sharing this review widely and will consider legal or consumer-action if necessary. * Misrepresentation: Bought the car under false assurance of inspection and support. * Immediate failure: Engine clinking, throwing codes, and dying within two days. * Zero accountability: Denied warranty service, repair, or even replacement. * High replacement cost: Now liable for an entirely new engine. This review is intentionally strong and factual. If their reviews are genuine and services are as advertised, they should be eager to address this. If you're reading this, and you're sales or management at Throttle Auto Group: you have an opportunity to make this right--before I escalate further.

Their post had lots of photos, a listed price and lots of details, unlike most others we've seen. We visited the other dealer first and the car was going to cost way more than the listed price even when they factored in a trade for my Toyota Corolla. I texted Vic from Throttle and he responded immediately. The Odyssey they had was in excellent condition and things that it lacked they were honest and up front about although it wasn't missing much. Their price was firm but more than fair, in fact it was a great deal. They also offered us a really fair price for my Corolla. Vic and his business partner were kind and super helpful throughout the whole process. I'm very happy with my Odyssey! I don't anticipate we'll be in the market for a new car soon but if we were we'd check in with Throttle first to see what they have. I highly recommend them!

What I did not expect was to be dealing with roughly $4,700 in immediate repairs within weeks of purchase. I took the car to MBZ Auto Service for a post-sale PPI/100k-mile inspection. They found failed engine and transmission mounts, a significant oil leak requiring transmission removal, transmission service, spark plugs, door-related repairs, and other age/mileage items. The car was put on a lift and the issues were shown to me directly. What makes this especially frustrating is that I had actually scheduled a PPI twice before buying the car. Gor was fine with that, but after repeatedly telling me the car was sorted, that he had personally driven it 500-600 miles without problems, and that it was in great condition, I asked him if I really needed one. He told me, essentially, that if I were his brother or family member, he would tell me I did not need one. Based on that reassurance, I canceled it. When I called afterward about the repair bill, Gor initially said I had gotten a PPI. I reminded him that I had not because of that exact conversation, and he acknowledged remembering it. He then said he could not trust my mechanic's findings and that I would need to pay to have the car towed back to his mechanic before he would even consider doing anything. Even then, he promised nothing. This is the same mechanic I was told had already inspected and approved the car before the sale. I understand that older enthusiast cars need maintenance. What I find unacceptable is being personally reassured that the car was sorted, only to have nearly $5,000 in immediate repairs identified shortly afterward, followed by a defensive response and no real accountability. Based on my experience, I would not buy another car from Rockstar Auto Group. If you are considering an older or enthusiast vehicle from them, get a completely independent PPI from a specialist of your own choosing, no matter how confident the verbal assurances sound.
