The banana lumpia came out quickly and it was divine. It was the right level of crispness and sweetness. As a cinnamon lover I was in heaven!! I couldn't stop thinking about it and couldn't wait until I could eat their banana lumpia again. I also wanted to try the other food they offer. Thankfully they're also open in our neighborhood sometimes so I don't have to wait for a night market event! It's convenient when my husband and I are on our way home from town and are too lazy to cook. Today was one of those days and thankfully they were open in the neighborhood! This time around the aunty still greeted us with the same warm smile. This time around we tried their pork and veggie lumpia with the fried saimin. The pork lumpia was nice and juicy. The veggie lumpia also had lots of fillings and was perfectly crispy! Their vinegar was also delicious. My husband who usually refuses to dip anything in vinegar loved it and dipped all of his lumpia with their vinegar. Their fried noodles also had fresh green onion, cabbage, spam, and fish cake. The noodles were also al dente and had the perfect texture! Safe to say they've definitely become one of mine and my husband's favorite places to grab a bite!

I was disappointed. I got 8 Pork w veggies spring rolls for $15. I visited this truck at the start of the event which was a fundraiser for a High School. The oil they used was old or rancid. The spring rolls seemed like it was fried twice from before. It tasted horrible. I spoke to others at the event and they said they threw their food away because it tasted bad. I believe if they used fresh oil at the start of an event, it would have tasted much better. I do not plan to return here, it tasted really bad, rancid, old. I hate to make bad reviews for local business but they need to change their oil or check their food and taste it themselves before selling

The owners and their family run the place and in true Filipino hospitality, they served us buffet/family style and entertained us with their stories from their humble beginnings to what they are today. The food was the best I've had in the Island. Hands down. Everything tasted nostalgic because the technique used in cooking each dish tasted like a handed down recipe from a grandma's kitchen from back home in the motherland. If you're ever in the island of Oahu please make your way to Waipahu and sample as much of their offerings as you can and I can guarantee you will not be disappointed! 10/10 recommended coming from a humble cook who rarely raves about Filipino food because I myself learned from my paternal grandmother.

The kalbi here is very different from typical local style kalbi, it's a lot less char and sauce heavy, it really lets the quality of the meat be at the forefront. The kalbi is cut thick but there's no need for a knife at all it, it's tender enough to bite through easily and it falls right off the bone. There's a light soy glaze on the meat and it's just enough to balance out the flavor of the meat. Honestly at first I didn't think I was going to like it because I was expecting the usual style of kalbi that's on island but after eating more and more of the plate I found myself hooked! Haven't found any other spots that make kalbi like these folks (and I tend to eat kalbi more than I'd like to admit). The people working the truck are always super kind and attentive, there's a cute little outdoor space to eat next to their truck that has shade and a good amount of wind to keep any flies away. The banchan provided is also a winner, the kimchi is very fermented which I love, it's got a crazy amount of tang which goes so good with the meat and rice. That 20 min wait ended up being longer...over 30+ minutes so i decided to loop around and come back. the person handing out the food eventually asked me what my name was and found that my order was already taken by someone.... oh no shrimp thief! they felt really bad and they made my order right away and even gave me extra shrimp and a bottled water. The side of pansit was also a nice touch, but I hope there can be an option to have all-rice because I can definitely eat more than 1 scoop with how good the Crispy Kare-Kare was. The pork belly was tender and the skin had the perfect crunch with every bite. The chili also provides a nice contrast and kick to the flavor profile. My girlfriend got the crispy kare kare. Smothered in peanut sauce it was absolutely delicious. Eating it with the bagoong also provided some nice flavor contrast giving a nice garlic and salty taste to compliment the sweet peanut sauce. Portions were generous and the service was quick. Definitely would come back to try their other stuff.
