This place is amazing. If you starting to go airsofting this is the spot, or even if your already experienced with airsoft it's still amazing. Their service is absolutely incredible. When my gun broke down I went up to the front and they helped me straight away and put it all together. The place when you enter is clean, the bathroom is good, all employees are excellent. And they will always help you out if you need anything. They have top- gear here, if you're starting with airsoft. They have all of type of different guns and there amazing. And when you're in the battlefield it's very big. This is only for customer service. I have not visited as of yet. I will tonight but I wanted to let Yelp know that Jacob who just answer a bunch loads of my questions!!!! He was patient, tremendously KNOWLEDGEABLE about the business and he had all of the answers to my questions!!!! He didn't rush me off of the phone because I was a female He was not intimidating or making me feel like I was not wanted inside of the establishment. I let him know of my concerns and he was TOP TIER to say least. After I arrived the players were friendly and the staff that checked me in was amazing!!!!!! He was friendly and patient with my son. He was also part of this tremendously considerate staff! He walked my son through everything and did not rush him. He showed him around and let him know all of the steps. He (Hispanic man) came to me and said that he would have some of the staff go on with my 13 year old so he would not feel alone for his first time. The guys were ready and so friendly. I later found out that Jacob was one of the 3 guys that went in with Brian. These guys had been working all day and had the energy and consideration to play 2-3 games with my son. I love this location. I didn't feel intimidated at all!!!!! I waited for Brian to play his games and when it was time to go. Another player came up to me and asked was it my son's first time there and I Said yes. He then gifted my son one of his glocks!!!!!!!!! The night could not have ended any better. Not sure how big the tech department is but I've only seen one dude and I'm sure he has a bunch of work piled on him. He's even helped when I had a gun go down mid game. It'd be nice to see more techs maybe a tech to help with emergency trouble shooting issues? We've been here before but my son wasn't able to play. So we took him back here for his birthday and let him play all day. First of all the staff was really friendly and completely supportive of it being his first time. They were very patient in helping him rent an airsoft gun and learn the rules. But what absolutely blew me away was how kind and welcoming all the players were. Several people were more than willing to teach him the ropes and be his "wingman". It was unbelievable. OUTSTANDING!!! The crew working at the Evike Antioch Outpost makes it worth while to play Airsoft. It's always a very cool and interesting experience with this family of workers at the Evike Antioch Outpost. This past Saturday, I was having a lot of issues with my M4 platform Polarstar Jack Config. while at Gamepod Combat Zone. I just walked in and asked for some help. Niko and Lucas stepped up immediately and helped make everything work again with some teching and they taught me a thing or two that I hadn't learned previously. Honestly speaking, the whole tech and sales team had a subtle say with the issues and brought up very funny comments that made my day and also emphasized some extremely helpful points that made me start thinking about upgrades for the future. Im happy to say that everything worked out thanks to all of them. Furthermore, I will be considering upgrading soon with my setup. To everyone trying to purchase at this location, they really care about the players and have many recommendations that I've already considered. I just wish the Evike Superstore would send more stock to this location. As of Saturday, their selves were pretty bought out of the basic necessities (tracer bbs, bbs in general, magazines, grenade pouches, CO2, grenades) the list goes on. But I understand how logistics work so I would expect to see this change soon. I prefer to go to a local store rather than dealing with shipping mishaps like most everyone else trying to buy online from Evike. I am kind of bias because I have had many issues in the past with online orders and RMAs occur before from the main store. So PLEASE.... PLEASE RESTOCK THIS LOCATION!!!! Awesome customer service at Evike Outpost, both on the phone with AJ and in the store with Walter. I had purchased an airsoft pistol on evike.com (for backyard practice to supplement going to the range with my real gun). I didn't know anything about how airsoft works. Walter kindly and patiently walked me through the basics and got me set up with the supplies I needed to use the gun ... green gas, lubricant, cleaning tools, and ammo. Walter generously provided his advice in a relatable and knowledgeable way, taking his time explaining things and demonstrating how to fill the gas, clean the pistol, etc. As a woman, I appreciated his help, which was totally devoid of any macho condescension. I've tried time and time again to look over anti-customer and borderline insulting behavior from the management of this establishment but today is the day they lose me. I buy a Velcro light for using (as mandatory) on the Gamepod field next door. Within two games (a couple of hours) the adhesive becomes soft and as I attempt to remove the light the Velcro strap detaches and my hand is covered in liquid glue. A bit disappointed with the product being faulty on first use I immediately bring it back at the end of the same day. A $5 light strap and guess what? They won't even give me an exchange, let alone a refund. Is there no quality control? No care if your company sells a knowingly defective product to a customer? "Too bad"? I spent well over $100 just today in their shop but they can't even replace a cheap product they know is defective. This is borderline illegal business practice and I'll see to it I never come here, to Gamepod, and refer everyone I know to avoid this place like the plague. Was gonna bring my brother for his birthday next week, looks like we're off to Sacramento where they actually care about their customers and business. read more

Always had an interest in Airsoft but I didn't know anything until I came across this amazing store in Mid-October. First day I walked in, Haley greeted and introduced my fiancée and I into the world of Airsoft. Took the time to find out what we like and gave us recommendations that we quickly became fans of. A few more visits down the line, met AJ and Jake who are excellent teachers in handling, upgrading and providing maintenance to our equipment. After frequenting the store and meeting more of the staff, I met Nico, who provided great insight, suggestions and reviews on Airsoft accessories and equipment. Once I started feeling comfortable with playing the games, I experienced some technical difficulties with my equipment and Jared immediately came over to offer technical support. I've been to a few Airsoft stores over the months, but I definitely prefer to bring my business over to Evike at Antioch because of their welcoming staff and their patience to guide me through the world of Airsoft. The most amazing thing about this store is they are not trying to get you to buy anything. Let me tell you this i spent like 4hrs with this rep by the name of AJ who is like the Grand Thumb of Airsoft Replicas and I guess you can say he is like maydansay if any of you are cultured. I would like to commend the amazing customer service my wife, friends and I received during our visit(s) to Evike Outpost. Shout out to AJ, Walter, Nico and the rest of the team. We visited the shop three times in less than eight days. Mind you, we're coming from San Jose, so its a bit of a drive. The distance isn't bad, but the traffic is atrocious. It's because of the customer service we don't mind the drive and continuing to visit. Our first visit was originally for the wife because she wanted to pick something up. In the end my wife, my friend and I ended up picking something up. AJ was who we first encountered for this visit and him and the rest of the team were very welcoming. We had explained that we were very new to the world of airsoft and AJ, with his experience and positive energy, explained the ins and outs of the game. He got to know us and what kind of playstyles each of us had and properly introduced us to our first AEGs. Even though the walk-in part of the store wasn't open, we felt like we go walk-in service we would've gotten if it was. With this first experience here, we definitely had to come back. Our second visit we met Walter and AJ was there to assist us well. Again with the amazing customer service we started to feel more comfortable coming into the sport. This time we brought another friend who was looking to buy an airsoft and I can say he was very happy with his purchase. This time with the help of Walter, my friend was able to find a gun that fit the way he would play. Walter was able to fill us in on any questions we had and really showed us the ropes. At this point we were convinced that this was the place we wanted to go to for future purchases or a go-to place if we had any questions. They didn't make us feel dumb or kept any information from us. I have to admit, we did go to another airsoft place in between the visits to Evike, and honestly the other place cannot compare to the experience we had with Evike. The other place was more like "Here's the the gun. you like it? Okay, I'll ring you up." At Evike they tell you more about the gun; the features, where the battery goes, what comes in the box, what you'll need to do if you're messing with CO2 or green gas, how to clean/lube the gun, personal experiences with the guns, etc. AJ and Walter really tell you what to expect with the gun you select. The most recent visit (okay, it was the next day after the second visit) we had brought another friend looking to pick up as well. This friend had set his eyes on something and didn't want to go beyond his budget. This time we had Walter, AJ, and Nico assist us. Though my friend's eyes were set on one gun, he learned that there were some flaws with it and decided to look for a different gun. Walter managed to find something for my friend that both fit his play style and stayed within his budget. The overall experiences we had there were just awesome. I got nothing bad to say about the company itself. The workers there can be a bit shady. First off double charged me for some items. BB's were suppose to be $5 bag. ( Found this out when I looked it up on their website after), he charged me $13 a bag total of two bags for $26 when it should have been 10. So buyer beware if you buy from there make sure you doublecheck the prices on the website because they are notorious 4 from marking up the prices in that store. I'm not the first one that's had a problem with that. (I guess they figure they'll pad their wages a little). Then refused to give me a refund unless they were allowed to walk away with my card somewhere. Flat out refused to let me be present while refunding my card. Demanded adamantly to be alone with my card. So didn't give me a refund because I wouldn't let him walk away with my card. Evike is awsome. Love the store and Gamepod. I bought my avacado burst mosfet in for Evike Outpost in Antioch, CA I took it there at because i could not program it at gamepod battle zone game the trigger programming wouldn't work. I originally took out tamiya connectors and soldier in deans male and female. Tested on my airsoft gun by connecting battery to it and it worked this was before the airsfoft game. However, when I try programming it for burst at combat zone (airsoft game) it didn't work, so I took it to evike outpost. I explained that it did work at home even after I replace connectors with deans male and female at both ends on mosfet. I had no written instructions that I brought because when I went to the game I the mosfet worked. But I explained to evike customer rep how I programmed mosfet and how it worked even after me soldering dean connectors. But since I had no written instructions even though I explained how I programmed it he failed to diagnose my gun with mosfet properly with sarcastic reply with him have no instructions not find it on internet he couldn't diagnose the mosfet to get it to program the burst. Even though I told him how I programmed it. After I left evike I realized that instructions are on this item are on evike website video of evike Matt doing setup I mosfet. This rep should have known this. This is totally unacceptable customer service!!! The instructions I got from evike Matt and other you tubers setting up this particular mosfet. He said he couldn't find instructions!! This way I gave Evike Out Post 1 star!! read more
