I've rarely had a wait, they are efficient at moving people in and out. Probably the best thing about the Hemet location is the manager and staff. The staff member who helped me when I first went in was patient and informative and several others I interacted with were professional and friendly. I started using ITAN membership almost a year now. I'm very happy with the membership pricing and what's included. The studio is always clean and the staff is very friendly! They also know a lot about the tanning beds and gave me very good instructions about which beds to use to get the tan I wanted! I love the convenience of calling ahead to see if the bed I want is available or just walking in. I also use the ITAN in Lake Forest. Another great thing about the membership is being able to use it at all locations. They also offer infrared facial, body wrap for weight loss, and teeth whitening. I haven't found any Cons, so far my experience has been great, I go tanning At least once a week and use the body wrap in between. They also have sales on tanning lotion and upgrades during the holidays. read more

I have been going here for 10 plus years and this place has going down hill for the past year. They need new beds half of the beds don't work those beds have all been there since they moved to Florida ave. I won't go there anymore unless I really have to but I will start going to Temecula spot. Girls are nice there but the beds are old. I hope they get new beds soon. I am in the process of my one week trial. I went in for my second time to tan, and relax for 15 minutes. The girl who works on Sunday, she was rude and disrespectful. She allowed me only 5 minutes in the bed, and she said she could not give me the additional 10 minutes. Because I am in the building phase of tanning. Their monthly fees are not cheap. I need to think about how I want to spend my money. I was so pleased with Emma the day before! They need more employees like her. I was extremely upset. This place is wonderful. It is run by young people which usually makes me cringe because most young people today know nothing about customer service and are rude, lazy, and entitled. Well not this group of charming, ambitious, professional, brainiacs. These kids are on it. The are polite, helpful, knowledgeable. The spa is clean and impeccable. A thorough & knowledgeable tour guide, advisor & listener, I signed-up right then & there. They have a wide range of equipment for every tanning need, even some for body improvement! I've also received great service from Marane, Hailey, Mariah & most recently, Jenna (a manager) who told me about a discount for getting 3 products, as opposed to just the one I was interested in buying. Normally I would let something like this go, however today was the last straw. First off, months ago I thought I canceled my frozen membership. Apparently that employee was no longer there and didn't do it. So I have been getting charged for a while $5 a month. I went in there today to get it squared away. I was told it could not be canceled until I paid $5 . I was told my card wasn't going through, but when I got home I looked at my statements and that was a lie. What really pissed me off was the woman helping me kept calling me girl. I am a full grown woman and she has my name. This was unprofessional and I feel taken advantage of. I was excited to start my spa sessions at Itan in Hemet. Jasmine the manager I believe was a delight and explained to me the benefits about products that would help with my spa session. Unfortunately, not all of the staff was helpful and welcoming. I needed help with one of the machine one day and I called for Chelsea who was the employee behind the front counter along with another girl named Alondra, they were chatting it up and laughing, ignoring my situation. Chelsea called out from behind the counter, "Turn the machine off and on" of which I did and still the machine didn't do it's job. She never came by my station to physically help and kept her conversation with the other employee going. My session was over so I didn't get the full benefit of the machine. This irritated me and upset me once I got home. Before I left I brought it up to them again and the one who went to check the machine was Alondra who seemed to care about the situation. I went in a second time on a different day and the machine again gave me problems. They didn't have the complete equipment to have my body session wrap today which I was really looking forward to doing. I decided to cancel my membership. They only have 2 machines available there which on a brochure lists over 6-7 for the spa. I am disappointed with the management of this company, especially at the Hemet location. They didn't hesitate to sign me up at the time, sell me products worth $100 and take my membership money every month. Please inform yourself and have questions to ask before you sign up! Expensive monthly memberships (ranging from $40 to $100 a month I think), but I don't mind that so much since they keep the place clean for their customers and offer multiple tanning levels. They require an initiation fee in what I consider a shady way to keep their customers since they offer a monthly freeze for $5.00. So they can retain all of their customers and continue to get more money for those that are taking a tanning break. Not a good move, iTan. What I *do* mind are sales representatives who try to sell me $100.00 bottles of tanning lotions nearly each visit. Tip for consumers - find a lotion you like and purchase it online. SAVE YOUR MONEY! They are very knowledgeable about the products they sell. And I 100% back up the products they sell. Horrible customer service. Unprofessional on every level. No one emailed me to say the salon was open in June. I called on June 18 to ask if they had reopened, I was told "yes, at the end of May." $90 had been drafted out of my acct for June, even though I had no idea they had reopened. When I explained that I wanted a refund, I was told "we don't do refunds". They're inability to communicate with their customers cost me $90. They have shady business practices. AVOID!! read more
