Eversource, is a horrible Corporation. Incompetent, rude customer service. Overpriced rates, that are hurting customers. Payment plans, are a joke. They truly do not care, about providing affordable rates. They are worthless. One star, I would give them a negative 0 to the billionth power. read more

The worst service ever!! I wish the didn't capitalize the area. They need to be brought to court for charging people the amount they are charging all of us! Oh But one small storm they are like sorry you are out of power, pay us now! we refuse to update our poles and wires.. just give us an outrageous amount of money.. Eversource should be ashamed read more

I paid my bill using their Speedpay system a say before it was scheduled for shut-off. I came home from work the next day to find that my electricity had been shut off. Customer service closes at 6:00 pm, and there's nothing you can do until the next morning, meaning everything in your fridge is ruined. I went online again, and saw a message that they are having trouble with the Speedpay system. They made no effort to contact me about this before shutting off my power. Eversource is awful!!! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Was on a payment arrangement for a year. Called 2 times within that year and was told some month the usage is higher and some are lower. It will all even out. Made my last payement and the bill is almost 500 MORE than when i started the payment arrangement. I have called sooo many times to contest according to the dosconnect and no one helps. They just transfer you or hang up. Or get someone who says too bad go to social servoce agency. I had to ask my chruch for help, and guess what EVERSOURCE doesnt habe a physical location to drop a check off. No way to make sure it gets there in time before disconnect day. This is not a consumer issue this is an issue from insane rate hikes and subpar customer service. Eversource should be ashamed of the way they conduct buisness. read more

The company should not only be sued but they should be put out of business period. My payments are due on 15th every month. Naturally I experience price hikes. I made sure my payment was paid before the end of the month. 142 was the remainder which is the following months bill not the one due. Just to get a threat of if 160 isn't paid before the 16th they were gonna shut my power off. Which is almost 20 dollars more than what is owed. By definition that's extortion. And come to find out not only is there a class action lawsuit against them just reading some of these comments this company should be held to the highest accountability and repercussion to the highest extent of the law. The company is trash and needs accountability. read more

Word to anyone looking for electric source in NH, if you have a choice, find someone else, Eversource is overpriced, and the NH State Government should really look into the company - they are certainly a kind of monopoly where many people do not have a choice but to use them, and the way the rates went up over the last year and half should question an audit of where all their money is actually going. read more

Wish I could give them 0 stars. I paid my electric bill and they came the next day and shut my electricity off anyway without notice. When I got home from work it had obviously been several hours since they entered my apartment because my fridge was no longer cold. I called about this and all they said was "oh that's odd you paid and they still shut your electricity off" and that they'd send someone within 24 hours and they only work until 5:30pm. Eversource should have sent someone right away seeing as though THEY were in the wrong shutting my electricity off when my bill was paid. Because of them I've been living in darkness for two days and my food is spoiled. This company is awful, unreliable, and conducts business illegally. They should be shut down for malpractice. Update: It's been over 24 hours and they have NOT come to turn my electricity on. Because it's a Saturday, nobody is even in the office and when I try to call them I just receive an answering machine asking me to leave a message. DO NOT use this electricity "company", they are obviously extremely unorganized since they shut my electricity off when my bill was paid, and they are liars since they "guaranteed" they'd come to turn my electricity off within 24 hours and they never showed up. read more

Had to write this review on EverSource and the outstanding work two guys just completed at our Waltham home! After the storm on Monday we had two tree branches leaning heavily on some electrical wires! Although we never lost power the branches blocked our driveway! At 9:10 PM two trucks showed up and within an hour the branches were carefully removed by two guys, one in a bucket truck and the other guiding rope around the heavy branches! Once the work was completed they took the time to cut up the branches and even cleaned up the debris from the smaller branches! Can't thank these guys enough for their expertise! read more

There are scammers out there trying to get money from Eversource customers. They look legit but they're not. Beware! I called and spoke with the real Eversource and they were awesome. read more

They didn't put my account on auto bill so it went without payment. They threatened to shut us off, so we made a payment plan, THEY PUT THE CARD NUMBER IN WRONG. TWhen the payment declined they sent someone to shut us off, again! Called to figure it out and they demanded $900 for the months the card couldn't be billed/didn't get billed, or they would turn us off. They refused to split the bill enough though they messed up putting the card info in! Then they said that they could only charge a max of $600 so we HAD TO PAY THE $2.25 FEE TO CHARGE THE CARD A SECOND TIME TO PAY THE WHOLE BILL. THEN they said the order to shut off was already out and they couldn't contact the rep so we had to "catch" the guy, call them again, THEN PAY A $30 FEE TO RECONNECT. WORST BUSINESS I'VE EVER HAD TO WORK WITH. WORTH CUSTOMER SERVICE. Negative stars, if possible. I will never work with this company again. read more

We lost power most of the day from a blizzard that left 2 ft of snow in just one night. We went onto Eversourse's website and made phone calls to see what the eta was but they didn't show any updates for restoring. There website was clear and showed a detailed map with population and the number of reported outages so we kept watching to see if the numbers would go down. I made one more report of the outage in my area by late evening and shortly after me and my wife heard them driving by and searching around the area with spot lights. Within 20 minutes power was restored and we had heat again. Coincidence or not we are So thankful for their clear understanding for their clients and the response through text and detailed web updates. Thank you so much Eversourse for not letting us go without power and heat through the night. read more

I want to preface this by saying that every individual representative I spoke with was GREAT. Now that that's out of the way, I have a lot of issues with the phone system and business. First- charging someone a $10 fee because of an account holder's death is pretty tacky. Second, and most importantly in my opinion, when a representative transferred me to another group I would get dumped back into the automated verification system and asked if [phone number] was the number associated with my account. Both times, it was a number other than my own, and I suspect it was the phone number of the previous associate helping me. I really hope that it was their work-only number because if you are releasing private employee contact information to your customers, that is a liability NIGHTMARE. Please do better. Finally, with the amounts you're charging your customers, you can afford professional voice recordings and not the crackly recordings I've been hearing over and over for the last hour, but I'll admit I'm just being petty at this point. read more

Perhaps its common knowledge, but I did not know nor was I informed by customer service that I would be charged a usage fee for having the option to have power even though I informed customer service that only was the apartment vacant but gutted. Some how low wattage was used even though no outlets were available. I wish there was another power source option, but its a monopoly. read more

Can't believe I have had service for 7 years and while my bill has sometimes been a little late I have NEVER been disconnected. I received a demand for a security deposit with options if it was not something I could manage. 1- it was for a $605.00 deposit and 2 one of the options that I picked no one seems to know who to talk to or how to proceed. Even though the option I chose came from the letter they sent me. I have called 3 days in a row several times just to be transferred from one dept to another each one saying they can't help or they aren't familiar. The frustration is never ending. Also, did I mention that if I don't set up my chosen option by a certain date they will shut me off even though my bill is current. I am very upset and can't believe with all the money I have paid over 7 years they can't even help with something they offered!! read more

Eversource has the audacity to shut the electricity off without informing anyone. I am a stay at home Dad and I work from home, my whole life is disrupted because of some ignorant decisions by Eversource. Our food is constantly spoiled because of the incorrect/disregarded notices they haphazardly put out. I was informed (only once!) that the electricity would be shut off for 30 minutes and then waited as the electricity was kept off for 6 hours! In this situation, only the pipes are working, because they're not clogged with the bowel movements containing spoiled food (We have grown begrudgingly accustomed to this "tactic" Eversource has thought up.) I am constantly worried about when I will be able to buy food or finish my work because I live on Eversource's schedule and they can never tell me what the hell they have going on. This just needs to be investigated and hopefully fixed, and if they're too lazy to actually work they should get some new employees. wonder China is winning. read more
