Totally unsure if this will ever actually reach Eversource or my boy Troy but THANK YOU for your work today! Troy was amazing, communicative, educational and truly so kind. I was worried about power not coming on in time for me to conduct a therapy session with a client in need and with time to spare Troy had the transformer issue fixed and the neighborhood back up and running. He absolutely saved the day. Also, the woman who took my call initially - I unfortunately did not get her name - was incredibly helpful and kind as well. By far the best experience I have had with a utility company to date. read more

Changing all are meters to transmitting meter or charging us a monthly fee to not have one. Absolutely disgraceful. Looking to find a new company read more

Had Eversource wires hanging off trees going to my house & electrical conduit pole hanging off my meter. Eversource man came in pouring rain banging on my door telling me not my problem or Eversource's either. Wanted to argue in pouring rain, while he was in rain gear & I was soaking. Customer Service said, they would call and follow up, of course they never did. 20 plus years in Auto pay with them and they just collect monthly checks and could careless about their customers. Extremely unprofessional read more

absolute nightmare to deal with! run, do not walk from any area they are serving! they'll literally leave you for dead no matter what. veterans, children, dusabled, medically dependent. just full of @÷ap and will manufacture missed payments and late fees etc to squeeze as much as they can out of you and lie about everything. do not buy or rent in their territory. they should be shut down. read more

Eversource's customer service has been extremely disappointing. They scheduled the installation of our Net Metering equipment between 8:00 AM and noon and specifically told me that someone needed to be home. Based on that information, I took a day off from work. Unfortunately, no one arrived during the scheduled time window. When I called for an update, customer service could not tell me what had happened or when the installation would occur. I escalated the matter to a supervisor, who then informed me that I did not need to be home for the Net Metering installation after all. This contradictory information resulted in a wasted day off and unnecessary inconvenience. I would appreciate an explanation of what happened and how Eversource plans to prevent similar issues from occurring in the future. June 4, 2026 read more

Eversource contracted Asplundh to trim trees around power lines on our street. Even though their website states that the use professional tree trimmers and do not flush cut, they flush cut 4 trees on the hillside between my backyard and the main , busy road. Three of the four trees they completely cut down to the ground were clearly on my property and not under the power lines. When called, they passed the buck to Asplundh but eversource was the company responsible for hiring them. Very disappointed, our backyard sanctuary is now on display to every car that passes. And although the people who work there appear to care somewhat more than Asplundh, they still are not offering any resolution! read more

Eversource Energy - This used to be a complete privacy wall of small trees and bushes. They removed everything! - Utilities Near Me

First and foremost, have a source doesn't deserve to have any stars on their review site. The prices have continued to go up year after year. Also, the fact that they're proud to have bought out a movie theater in Wareham that people love going to to make it a safety and learning site for their facility when they knew all along that people were gonna miss that theater. I put a in because I had to otherwise I would not be able to submit this post! read more

There wondering how they can screw you over every day how can we raise rates from 400 a month to 600

I do not know what is going on with Eversource. They switched account to my name without my knowledge and now is asking me to pay the bills! Never heard of such thing before. read more

I wrote a letter to Eversource letting them know i have 5-6 really tall trees that have branches hanging over the wires. I called and had an arborist look at it and they said it was unsafe for anyone other than Eversource to look at it. I wrote Eversource a letter. A LETTER. On 6/22 at 1:18am in the morning an Eversource tech came to my door and rang my doorbell to say they got a report that i said i had a branch on my wires - what?!? I said no i wrote a letter and needed Eversource's help to remove some of the trees due to placement - he said i followed the wrong process. Buddy, it is 1:18am in the morning. No one followed up. I called and spoke to Alfredo today - he said it doesn't sound like their issue and had no record of a tech coming to my house or a report. I said "cool man, when these trees come down and take out the neighborhood, i will share that i wrote a letter and called - not my problem". Poor service - what a monopoly read more

Company is completely screwing there customers . There telling my electricity bill for one month is 1500 dollars . We need an audit done on EVERSOURCE and there crooked billing practices . I used a generator for one month just to see if they would still bill me . My bill was 547 dollars even though I had the main shut off to my house . There making up number and just sending them bills . I have a camera on my meter . No one has checked the meter in over a year , yet i still get these REDICULOUS bills . I've finally contacted the state district attorney and have showed them my billing and have all the evidence showing I cut the power to the house and they still billed me almost 600 dollars . Now finally they have opened and investigation into the corrupt company . Hopefully people go to prison for a long time . read more

Terrible rates. Don't care about their customers and raise rates whenever they want. Customer service doesn't help at all. Might be the worst run company I've ever experienced. read more

Customer service is terrible. Wait can take over an hour and some representatives are clueless how to help.

worst gas services I have ever used! forever to get in contact with them then once you a bunch of mistakes. Billing mistake mistakes shut off mistakes and they will be there one day after your payment is late to shut off your gas most ridiculous company I've ever used for utility services. Take an hour to get in touch with them over the phone, but when they come to shut your servives off they are right there . Nothing but bad things to say ever source. read more

We haven't been using Eversource for very long yet (under a year), and I am impressed with their responsiveness. We've had a number of power failures caused by weather-induced downed trees and fallen limbs on power lines, and their crew show up very quickly to resolve the issue. If you live in an area where your cell service is available even when the WiFi goes out, you can receive helpful updates via text, email, and/or phone. read more

Trash company, luckily I moved out of the state so I don't have to deal with their antics anymore. We canceled our service months ago and still get charged by them monthly even after calling them 3-4 times to let them know we no longer live at that address. I am college educated, have held several responsible, well-paying career jobs, and consider myself a clear communicator and a patient person. I also am very sympathetic toward customer service representatives as I'm in the service industry myself. However, I just spent 1 hour and 47 minutes of my time being transferred to 6 different "professionals" at Eversource to ask for a simple review (and reduction ) on my budget payment plan. Forget it. Absolute waste of time, breath, patience and my own faith in humanity. Do not do this to yourself. Head straight for the gun cabinet instead, then leave us all a review. Let us know if you get different results. Thank you. read more

Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The wait times are absolutely, unacceptably slow. How can you consistently have wait times upwards of two hours to speak with someone? I don't understand how such a large and financially successful company can exist with such horrific service. Oh wait, I can guess, it is because they have a monopoly and no matter how bad their services is, people will still get their power through them because they don't have any other choice. read more

Had a horrible experience moving out. I closed my account for what made it seem like I was done with the final bill. A few months later, I got a bill in the mail at my new address. The representative told me I was held accountable for paying utilities for after my move out since I did not having anything in writing that signified it even with the account removal. They also said they could not change the bill as it was too late (I called them right after I got the bill at my new address). The rep then ended with a lessons learned from this horrible experience. I would highly suggest finding a difference provider for everosurce. I got charged for the same amount for electricity when the apartment was completely vacant. This goes to show how their meters truly operate. I normally got charged $40-45/month for a studio and the month I left, I got charged significantly higher when no one was even in the apartment! I would highly suggest picking a different vendor to not deal with the horrible customer support and unclear billing. read more

This company is so amazingly incompetent that it would be funny except that they are dealing with a dangerous substance that can blow up a house and its occupants. Mind you, this company was CHOSEN to replace Columbia Gas which was partially to blame for those explosions in Lawrence, Massachusetts. Eversource is worse than Columbia Gas ever was. In February I got notice that Eversource had to do some work on my house so I took a day off from work and two men came out and put some piping on the outside of my house (piping is now rusting) and said someone would be back in March to finish the connection for a new high pressure gas system. It is now mid-July and no one has contacted me about this unsafe situation. To make matters worse, Eversource drove over the sidewalk in front of my house and cracked it. This company should be put out of business because it is a public danger. Beware! read more

Eversource provides terrible customer service. I have been on the telephone for a long time and have not been able to speak with a human being. Now they have a virtual assistant that keeps asking questions and transfers us to recorded long speeches that have nothing to do with what we are calling about. I tried different numbers several times and now I am on hold and the wait time is more than 20 minutes. This is just unacceptable! This situation has been going on since the COVID era. read more

Eversource is the worst electric company I have ever dealt with . It took them a half year to get medical necessity paperwork in order. And now with Their AI assistant it is IMPOSSIBLE to pay your damn bill online after hours she just loops around asking 10 different verification questions and never lets you through. WTF???? I have never had such a hard time paying my bill. I always went through the automated without any issues. AI doesn't do anything that the automated didn't do how about you stop with new technology you don't need and keep our costs down since you PRICE GOUGE us. read more

Literally one of the greediest companies out there. Hate having to use them. We keep our heat at essentially 63F in the winter, barely turn on lights, and still have an over $330 energy bill. read more

I tried to pay a bill online and the website was not working. I then called to pay over the phone. On the phone, they told me no payment had gone through and I would not be charged except for the one charge I would be making over the phone to pay my bill. I was then charged three times my bill amount. I did get back the money for the overcharge however Eversource charged me $20 ($10 for each overcharge) to get my own money back. When I called to fix this issue I was told there was nothing they could do. So I ended up getting triple charged for one bill and then charged again to get my own money back. Eversource is an awful company that can not manage their own customer's bills and accounts and borders on illegal practice of charging customers to get their own money back wrongfully taken out of their accounts. read more
