Was supposed to bury a sprinkler line in April, now August and nothing, occasional text responses "oh yeah we'll get to it" and nothing.

They do not respond once the job is completed. 1. They stated the plants were warranted however they do not return emails when you contact them about dead plants. 2. The amount of wood bark used on beds barely covered the ground. I have added much more myself. 3. Never returned to install rocks in one of my flower beds. 4. They put sod over the existing weed blocking material and said the grass would take root. The blocking material was removed by myself for the most part and sod put back in place. read more

Tyler (owner) is a great salesman and quick to collect a payment, slow on the follow up. - weeks late starting and even later finishing our project. - didn't show up when they said they would. - poor attention to detail (even with a planting layout & schedule, they couldn't get it right) - our edging looks like a blind person installed it - new planting aren't straight or spaced evenly - untrained help that we're so slow (damaged our Lanai) - Poor quality of plants, looking forward to a fight this spring to replace the dead ones. - tried to cut corners on everything - drainage doesn't drain - new gardens floor like a swamp - sprinkler heads are blasting the new plants because they "were moved" but to the wrong place. - won't comeback and finish mulch Can't wait for small claims in the spring, we have all the texts & emails, photos and quote to fix the project correctly. Honestly, I do not like to leave reviews because everyone is different with different needs and opinions. However, I do feel the need to do so in this instance. My husband and I hired Evergreen to do a rather small landscaping job. Originally, it was to just add landscaping around our newly installed screen. I selected some ornamental grass, lantana and Mexican petunia. All were quoted as 3 gallons. What we received were a mix of 3 gals and much smaller. 3 of the ornamental grass were on a edge of needing to throw away. We discussed a discount and on two occasions I did communicate the need to replace the grass and Tyler did agree. We actually added to the job to include mulch replacement in the front and replacing it with stone. The process started right after July 4th and didn't finish until this past Monday, August 11th - nearly six weeks. There were numerous occurrences of no call and no show. Sending only one guy in this sweltering heat. Covering the mulch with paper rather than pulling the mulch out. Tyler very rarely showed up and when he did was clean, scrolling through his phone while his guys were killing themselves. He never ever got his hands dirty. He lied and challenged what the discount should be after I asked numerous time to send a revised quote. The aggravation this small job did is unexplainable. I absolutely would never recommend them to anyone. If you use them, make sure to tick off the quote against what product was delivered. Get revised quotes. Tyler talks a good game but delivers none of it. If I could rate lower than a "1" I would. Stay away people. read more

If there were a ZERO rating it would be too high! All the bad reviews below are true!! His staff did horrible work! Plants are poor quality & placed incorrectly. We have made repeated phone calls & sent daily text messages. IF he responded, he would say he'd come by but never show. Put our plantings in during the deep freeze! Original work was supposed to be done in December & we are still waiting for replacement of dead plants & grass. We will be contacting small claims court, also! read more

The initial install was great but a couple months later one of the Sabal palms died. I called Tyler and stated I'd pay for the replacement. Sometimes landscape material doesn't survive, I get it. He said he would get me on his schedule, 2 months went by and he texted me it would be another couple of weeks, that's fine no big deal. Well another 2 months have went by and he doesn't return phone calls or texts, he completely just chose to ghost me. I don't even know if he's in business anymore. read more

Avoid this contractor! Asked for a estimate to replace my front lawn and Tyler promptly emailed me one after seeing what was needed. He added in several items which I did not want and he rebid the project to my satisfaction. A deposit was promptly sent to him, (via Amex), and that was the last I ever heard from him. I have called at least 4 times with increasing urgency. The first two times we made appointments for work to commence and he no-showed both times without contacting me for an explanation. I have called several times since and have left a message but have never received an answer. This morning I have called again stating I am going to the State Attorney to retrieve my deposit. I have given him ample time to respond. He seemingly takes the money and runs a fraudulent business. Unfortunately there is no minus stars available. read more

To all friends in or around Palm Coast...BEWARE!! BEWARE!! BEWARE!! Don't do business with EverGreen Landscapes. The manager, Tyler, took our money and never finished the work which was agreed uponnin contract and paid in full... We have tried for 2 months to request work to be completed, and to date, no response. Stay clear of this company as they will probably scam you too...Please share this with anyone in our area and let's put a stop to this company scamming others. We are very pleased with Evergreen Landscaping. They did a great job on completely replacing our landscape Irrigation and Sod repair/replacement. Their team returned my call right away and met with me to go over the work that needed to be done. They were very responsive and I appreciated their consistent communication. I will definitely be using and referring Evergreen Landscapes in the future. read more
