However, after they were bought out by a larger national grass care business, the quality of their lawn care became useless. After getting a letter from the HOA about the dead spots in the yard, I realized it was time to find a new company. I decided to give Pestology a try. I spoke with Mr. Joseph Walker. I described the issue and asked if he thought that Pestology could correct it. He drove to my home and assured me they could fix the issue. I also learned that if I set up auto-pay, the first month would be free. They were hired. About a week later, Bryan came to treat the lawn. Bryan is very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He started with the dead spots in the grass. In the problem area, he put a high-quality dirt mix. This was above and beyond what I expected. Bryan treated the problem area and the rest of the yard with a liquid and granual fertilizer. He also treated the weeds that were starting in the dead areas. Bryan followed up 2 weeks after the initial treatment to check the change. The yard looked better than the work the previous company tried for over a year to do. The change has been incredible. At the 2 week recheck, he treated the yard again. In another 2 weeks, we are going to get the regular lawn treatment. The grass is now a dark green color. I can't believe what an improvement there has been with my lawn because of Pestology. I could not recommend them more highly. They fix problems and follow-up!!!

So a guy from the company came out, Renee, to look at the yard while I was at work. He then texted me and asked if I could do $90 for the first cut and $50 every time after. I said no, I can not do that, it's too high of a price for me. And then he offered $80 the first cut, I said, no thank you I'm sorry I can't do h at. My yard isn't huge. And the back has hardly any grass. It's a little high, but being that it really isn't much yard at all AND I used to do lawn maintenance so I know it will only take 10-15 minutes at most. So not 20 minutes after that I get a call from I guess the owner of the company. Saying that "just a heads up, but you should let us know if you're going to hire another company" I said I let Renee know I was price shopping and that price is too high for me. He said "no it's not!" I said umm yes. It is. I said it may not be too high for you but it's too high for me. The owner showed up promptly for the estimate appointment and provided a comprehensive quote on the work and what it would require. They were flexible with the timeframe for the work and the quote was reasonable for the type of work provided. The crew was very professional and ensured no damage to our fence or home during the trimming. All debris was cleaned up from my yard and stacked appropriately for the lawn/garbage crew to take it away. Very small debris was even cleaned up from my neighbor's yard although that was only a small amount as the crew was very diligent in trimming the tree. After getting several quotes we decided to go with Grandscapes because they gave us the best price and we knew their work. They spent the better part of a week tearing out old beds, removing old grass/weeds, grading the lawn, laying sod, and putting out mulch. Austin even did a few small things we added in at the last minute. These guys were incredibly hard workers, personable, and professional. They cleaned up after themselves and my yard is finally something to be proud of.
