No communication when they cannot make it or need to reschedule. They show up when they want and do bare minimum. Broke a water pipe in front of my house and shut the water off at valve and left without even telling anyone. JEA figured it out and family at house said water had been out since right after they left. Owner Sue says her guys just wouldn't have done it had to be children! Wasn't ..very next week cable line was cut. They are completely negligent and do not care. Save your money they will disappoint!! read more

This service is ok. You pay by month but your contract for service is for an entire year. See the new pics of what my lawn looks like today. Note to owner: It does not rain 24 hours a day. If you cannot provide weekly service, don't advertise that you can. If it rains today, we expect to see you at our home the following day. NOT 7-10 later. read more

Sue and her team are very professional and would recommend to anyone in the Jacksonville Area. They maintained my front and backyard while I was away for work taking care of all of the mowing and edging. Over the winter time they trimmed the bushes out front to get them ready for the new year and took care of the weeds in the beds. Sue is very responsive and communicates well. Hired LawnJax to take over my yard care, since I suck at it. She has quickly transformed my yard - everything looks great. She has cut back the brush, trimmed up the hedges, located and defined the edges of all the flower beds, and made the grass look healthier than it has in years. Ok if you want your yard to look average or just "ok", stop reading and move on because these guys go way and above and will blow your socks off. We just bought a house here. The former owners had " done the yard themselves". To be honest it looked a little sad. We called these guys, they came out and gave an estimate (very reasonable) so we went with them. They are amazing. They mowed weeded, edged, shaped the hedges, offered advice on how to improve the yard, and they uncovered a paver walk I didn't even know we had. I hired Sue and team from Lawnjax for weed removal and mulch refresh around my treebeds and foundation. The services, once completed, were absolutely excellent. The only issue I experienced was that I was required to pay the invoice over a week before anyone arrived for any work--a rather compromising and uncomfortable position considering what was paid. Consumer be aware!! I hired this company for 2 reasons: 1 was their reviews and 2 was their price. Now my advice to you the customer is to move to the next best person and stay away from this company. He ties you to a contract where you pay a month in advance and doesn't deliver. The contract states that service will be provided weather permitting and that's understandable however don't expect your lawn to be mowed the following sunny day because it won't. He pockets the money and you get no service for that given week. Every month your credit card will be changed and you are not guaranteed to get the service you paid for in advance nor will you be reimbursed or credited. Stay away!!!!! read more

My wife and I live in Chicago and my parents are both older living in Jacksonville Florida. I wanted to find a reputable company to do the lawn services for them, and started with Lawn Jax last year to mow and edge their lawn each week. It is sometimes hard doing things remotely, but Alex and the team made everything so easy for us. We never have to worry about a thing, and the guys come out each week on time, do a great job, and the lawn and edging look beautiful. We moved into our home last June and couldn't get personal recommendations for lawn services, so I had to rely on online reviews. It made me a little nervous to sign a contract without seeing the quality of the work first, but I am really glad we found Sue and her co-workers. Sue always does a meticulous job on the regular mowing, weedeating, edging, and trimming bushes; the lawn looks gorgeous when she's done. A few weeks ago she removed some dead junipers for us, but it wasn't as easy as you might think. Our flower beds are filled to a depth of 6-8 inches of lava rock, and there are buried wires for outdoor lighting. Sue took great care not to disturb the wiring. She was also able to dig enough lava rocks out of the space to allow me to add soil and plant some annuals. More recently Sue replaced some sod in the front and back yards. We have never been disappointed by her work, and we feel that her prices are very fair. I would highly recommend Lawn Jax to anyone looking for quality lawn care. read more

Hired lawnjax for about 6 months. They never completely did what they were hired to do. When you hire a lawn service you expect the usual cut, edge etc. The front lawn was always too long when they left causing it to be grown out within a day or so. They would leave sticks and pine cones all over the yard, then run them over with the mower chopping them up all over the place. They never would trim the grass growing along the cracks in the side walk either. Our back yard was rarely cut. Out of the entire time they were hired they cut it maybe TWICE. We contacted them several times asking why they continuously didn't mow the back yard. They said thanks for notifying us. . . . We hired them because we are busy and do not have time to cut it on our own, so I thought hiring this company would be easier. I was wrong. Apparently they do not take pride in their work or business. I wonder if I put a sign in the front yard showing who did the lawn maintenance they would have done a better job ...? Its sad. Even if we are just a small property or one of the last stops before they were done for the day they should still take pride in your work and do a good job. We were paying customers. Don't waste your time or money with lawnjax. As for the comment from LawnJax below; first of all we live in mandarin in Jacksonville FL and second you were the company we regretfully hired. We have used this lawn service for the past six months. They do excellent work. They have never missed a week, keep the lawn in great shape, and are also available for other projects. We had them lay down mulch in all of our flower beds and the work was done quickly and very well. read more
