Don't get me wrong, Michael is super friendly and very accommodating, my complaint is the end result of a $20K+ job. Evidently poor quality barrier was used as a ton of weeds grew back through every square foot of a rocked driveway, mulched front yard, paved patio and even a concrete driveway. We are pulling weeds on a daily basis everywhere they touched, every square inch, pictures are nicer than what it really looks like. I wish I had known about the sub par quality components used including bad mulch, or I would have paid for the professional industrial quality grade barrier myself, lesson learned, and expensive one at best. Nice guy with a friendly crew otherwise, but that's not what I paid for. In response to owner's response. Michael, I don't know how you could possibly be shocked, I have no reason lie about simple facts. I am shocked by your reply however. You never once told us anything about adding any material to the patio as you were hired to do the job from START TO FINISH as contracted, in fact, your guys did spread the polymeric sand over the patio but you were hardly there at all during the entire 3 weeks, end result is the mulch, concrete slabs, and rock driveway, all of which are infested with growth from using a very poor quality barrier that we were never informed of since we left you to do the "professional" work we hired you for. I am by no means an expert but my mistake was to trust you to do it right, the pictures are only a few days after you left and got the final payment. That should never happen if using the proper plastic barriers that can last up to 40 years, not the Home Depot cheap see through fabric that lasts 4 days (I did my research, although too late). As for the septic tank issue, I hired the company, not you, and that had nothing to do with your sub par work albeit very coincidental, but that is a completely different animal, which will all get corrected as well, as I am left with a huge mess that I paid a lot for, hence your well deserved and honest review.

It looked lovely. Yet after looking closely & after a couple rains we had a few questions. Patio wasn't graded off of our lanai correctly. Which was trapping water in the lanai. I added photos in comments. They came out and agreed the pavers were higher than our lanai slab. Then pounded the entire boarding pavers down on one side. Which unfortunately created another grading issue. Confirmed by his level and multiple tests with the hose. Due to us being homeowners and not professional pavers we looked to him for a solution. Yet both my husband and I were told an array of random ideas (and some cost more money?). He refused to take accountability for his work. The conversation was not going anywhere and I asked him to leave multiple times yet he did not. It was incredibly frustrating and stressful. I also want to add.... I let them know prior to the job that my dog does eat things. So cleanup of the job site was very important to me. He said absolutely no issue as they are very respectful and tidy. Yet after they left the yard had trash, metal, weed whacker string, small concrete pieces and other small objects. I had to rake it up for days yet could only do so much. Unfortunately my dog did end up eating some of it and ended up at the vet with serious issues. Today we had a wonderful experience with work performed by American Tree Care, LLC. We had a HUGE…read moreshrub job consisting of approximately 25 yards of hedges which required cutting sides and tops cut about 2 feet down. Very tight area next to pool enclosure. In addition, we had an extremely tall overgrown tree where limbs were extending too close over our roof and electrical service lines. Rob was our point person. Came out and gave us a quote promptly. Workers arrived straightaway and dutifully cut down the shrubs and tree limbs in record time. They had to work on our neighbor's side, and conversed with him accordingly. Even the owner of American Tree came out to ensure proper handling of our job. We were so IMPRESSED! At completion, all debris was cleaned up and cleared. The property was so clean, It looked as though they were never here! EXCEPTIONAL job! EXTRAORDINARY service! We will definitely use this company again! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
