The place was spotless and we were lucky enough to have our own bathroom. Location was nice and not too far away from downtown and quiet enough to get a good night sleep. The beds!! Are very comfortable and we loved the complimentary breakfast in the morning. One of the saddest parts of the trip was needing to leave this B&B. Totally made this vacation worthwhile and enjoyable. We plan to return and stay here at our next visit to Ireland.

Beautiful B&B owned by 3 brothers who bought and refurbished the place in memory of their late mother (Marie) hence the name, Marie's Bed & Breakfast! All three brothers are on the property and very attentive and helpful! Beautiful B&B with lovely rooms and bathroom! Also, the whole place is so clean!! We got the twin bed room with the garden view and private bathroom/shower. Very relaxing and friendly environment. Literally, can't think of anything that I would want or need. We mentioned that we were planning on taking a cab into central dublin downtown for tours and they coordinated and called a taxi/cab for us for every day!! The rooms and bathroom was cleaned every day when we left for our excursions. And it's always so nice and welcoming to be back after a long day. Clean shower, and comfortable beds are what makes it even more memorable to a great vacation. If you have questions they will answer it! Need a good game plan for a trip in town? Done! Or a side trip to a nice area where is not a tourist trap? Done! Definitely reccomend you stay here. No regrets! Highly highly recommend to family and friends!

Wasn't too sure of staying in a B&B, (if I'm travelling alone I usually prefer to stay in a hotel) but after a quick glance at the trip advisor reviews on this place I was sold! So glad I booked here. The couple who run the B&B, Bill and Kathleen couldn't have been more hospitable or welcoming, Bill even going so far as to mark the right bus routes and their stops to and from town on my map for me! Helpful for someone who has a sense of direction like a drunk compass! Pots of tea and glorious irish banter were freely offered at any point in the day you happened to be around, which is always gonna get anyone on my good side! The room I stayed in had obviously been freshly cleaned, sparse but functional and the bed was clean & comfy, I wasn't too fussed about anything else! Only small gripe was that if you stay in the single room as I was, you have sole use of the main bathroom sure, but it's along the corridor a bit from your room...which can leave you feeling a bit awkward if you're not a sociable morning type (disclaimer: I am definitely NOT). The other rooms, all doubles, come with their own ensuite bathrooms. Breakfasts were plentiful and damn good. Choices of cereal were offered before the main event...the full Irish. I don't eat cooked breakfasts much, but these really were excellent. Breakfast served at a time of your choosing that fills you to the gills and sorts you out to take on Dublin and all the Guinness and writers geekery she offers? What's not to love! Howth Road is a main road into Dublin city centre, with bus stops right outside the Annally taking you in, and the one directly opposite being your return point. Journey takes about 15-20 minutes either way and the fare was less than €3! As someone who gripes pretty regularly about public transport here, all I can say is, Dunlin buses could chew First up and spit out the bones in terms of the service offered! Next time I'm back in Dublin, I'd definitely stay here, great room rates, great breakfasts and ran by a fantastic couple who go above and beyond for their guests!

In one sentence it was not perfect, but fine…read more - Walked in and paid 40€, here (http://www.bedandbreakfastireland.net/dublin_lucys-well.htm) it is listed as 35€ - My room was not ensuite. I was told that the bathroom that was opening next door from the corridor was all mine. However, the toilet was either used by someone, too, or it was not cleaned. - The "alarm call" advertised at the above website was not offered to me. - I could not find a hair-dryer. - The breakfast was fine. However, if it was not a lady suggesting what to eat and bringing them piece by piece, and I could see the choices I would probably have put together a nicer breakfast and would have had a little more food, too. - During the night my room was very hot. - I asked for wifi and I was given a code. - Despite all the minor problems listed above it was a good experience. I plan to check out other places in the area and eventually return. The source of guests of this B&B seems to be the people who have relatives in the nearby Beaumont Hospital.

I spent a month there and I suffered every day of my stay there. I think the house was beautiful,…read moreit is very small though and the rooms are small too. But this is not the problem. The problem is the landlord. On my first day, He came knocking on my door at 11 pm waking me up, to tell me -In a very insulting way- that I had left the bathroom lights on. A bathroom that I was told it will be a private bathroom, but it wasn't. You can't ask the landlord to do anything for you. There is no wake up call, no wifi in your room. Concerning the location, it is far away from the city center, so if you are in Dublin for a vacation, it is going to be difficult for you to spend a long time going to the city center. You will spend so much money everyday to go to the city and coming back to the hostel. TO CONCLUDE: I WOULD RECOMMEND IT FOR SOMEONE I HATE.

While departing the hotel, we were able to take the shuttle. The rooms were undergoing refurbishment. Our rooms for our two stays were quite different. The first night, the hallway floor was covered in plastic. There was a random chair sitting between our room and the room next door. The room was ok overall, but did need an update. A week later, we stayed on the same floor but different room. There was no longer any plastic in the hallway. The room smelled new and looked more modern. Overall, I would say it's a good place to stay if you're looking to be close to the airport.

We stayed here after our United flight was cancelled multiple days in a row due to an engine failure. While it's 10-15 minutes from the airport and not in walking distance like a few hotels like the Maldron, it's worth that inconvenience imo. Rooms were modern and clean. Room had a good amount of space the delayed airline dinner and breakfast was decent. Let me elaborate, the dinner was ok. The deserts were solid but the main course was meh. Edible, but fairly bland. Again - way better than the Maldron. Breakfast was solid. Very much a typical Irish breakfast. Good assortment of fresh breads and yogurts along with a few meats. Highly recommend. Staff was awesome and accommodating. Even had a kid friendly dinner option ( chicken fingers and chips) for the kids.
