Replaced the glass in an aluminum storm window for $35. Dropped it off at noon and was ready the next day. No issues and pleasant service.

We worked with Junior on the proposal and as the project manager, he was great to work with from start to finish.

Eventually I came across Domi Construction Corp. At first I was skeptical because they are a small business and I was worried that they wouldn't be able to complete my requests but after meeting with Domi and speaking to him in person I knew that him and his crew were the individuals that I had been looking for. I knew that what I was looking for was a big ask but they were able to get it done quickly, efficiently, and they also did an amazing job. They laid down new plywood over the old boards as well as ice and water shields all the way to the top and removed the chimney all the way down to the roof line by my request and once they finished that they laid down the new shingles. I couldn't be happier with the finished product and the overall experience. They were extremely clean, responsive to my texts and calls, and the pricing was just right. Its been a little over two years and everything still looks amazing. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to get new roofing done or any type of repairs!!!!!

I have experience with hundreds of subcontractors as a professional real estate investor, and have rarely had to remove someone in the middle of the job, but I had to do so in this case because Domi repeatedly did not show up. I was promised a quick resolution to the project, but months came and went and the project remained half completed, with debris scattered throughout the site with tenants living there. Ronaldo collected a check for $5,000, and then never went back to the project, after assuring me it would be completed in a couple days after giving him the check. A month and a half later, I had to fire him, and will probably have to take legal action get my money back. So don't use Domi!!!

I would not recommend to hire FRG to do your flat rubber roof!!!…read more In summer 2023 FRG came to redo the roof drain cap which was never installed properly at the first place by them back in Feb 2019. The roof has leaked every year since then and had 3-4 repairs. In April 2024, the roof drain clogged again(we have no trees around). The roof rain water seeped through under the roof drain compression ring, then flew down to the outside the drain pipe directly into the first floor bathroom wall and the basement floor. Fabio blame the leak caused by the drain pipe itself, not the roof. The drain pile has no integrity issue simply because after the roof drain debris cleared, the water leak has not occurred unless there is a heavy rain. And this only happened after FRG reinstalled the drain cover in summer of 2023. He did not apply for the building permit for this job either. To make the situation even worse, Fabio send me a $600+ bill for climbing up to the roof to check the leak and clearing the roof debris showed in the photo. But the roof leak is not fixed! I am a 30+ year real estate professional and have referred him a few jobs in the past. Sorry Fabio, not a job end up like this. What a nightmare.

Not to mention how fast and effective he and his team were at finishing the renovations before our baby arrives. Stan also had wonderful suggestions for some of the renovation ideas that we had in mind. If we have any other construction work, we would call on Stan and his team in a heartbeat. This contractor was hired for a commercial project that involved painting, plumbing, electrical, flooring, and custom woodworking. The contractor stated that the job was smaller than what he was used to and ensured that it would be done within a month. My partners and I decided to go with this company due to time constraints and his perceived expertise with larger projects. We are now in the litigation process for $$k because he cashed the deposit check and started a small portion of each project to delay us so he could pursue other projects. He became angry and rude and ignored all texts, phone calls, and emails when we asked for the schedule of when his workers would come by to work after ghosting us for one week. We then discovered that the plumber he used for the permit wasn't paid as he stated and decided not to proceed. He sent us copies of the checks he supposedly paid to subcontractors, which was a lie; no one was born. He has admitted that he owes us the money but wants us to pursue litigation to get it back. This contractor is inexperienced, unprofessional, and unreliable. I have a TikTok review about the owner of the Boston Force. My partners and I won a judgment against him in arbitration, and now we have to escalate and take him to court because he is refusing to pay. If anyone else has been negatively affected by Sal and his team, please connect with me. I might have some helpful information if you are looking To litigate.

We hired his company to renovate our bathroom, a job that should have taken a few weeks. But Sal's team took three months before we finally fired him even though his team was cutting corners from start to finish. When we complained about the slow, shoddy work - including sloppy grouting, inaccurate measurements and construction waste left in a big pile behind our house for months - he blew up at us and became threatening. He frequently asked for more money, claiming personal hardship. But he never kept his promises - it was just one con after another. He apparently mistreated his employees, too - one of his people came to our house demanding that we pay him directly because Sal had failed to do so. We finally hired a legitimate contractor to finish the job.

Our neighbors had used JB successfully, and the city of Boston's historic-approval folks told us that, while they can't recommend any window contractors, they've had nothing but good experiences with JB. The whole process was quick, transparent, and professional. They had the windows made in Italy, and--after we gave them the exact shade of paint that our bedroom was painted in--they took care of the rest. It happened that, on the day when the installation was going to happen, we were going to be out of town, so we left them a key in a lockbox. They took care of everything. They sent us photos so that we could see what they'd done while we were gone. There was a bit of confusion: after they left, we noticed that we no longer had screens in our windows (which we'd obviously want during the summer). Without needing to say another word, they came by and spent the morning installing the screens. The windows are beautiful, and are a huge improvement over the rotted ones we had there before. Since our apartment faces onto a historic park, we needed city approvals before the installation could go ahead; they handled all of this for us. Full disclosure: to replace two historic windows, tear out the old ones, etc., we paid $12,755.55 (of which about $9000 was parts; the remainder was labor). It was a lot of money, but it was totally worth it. What I've discovered by working with multiple contractors from multiple trades is that you get what you pay for. You could probably find a cheaper contractor, but you're unlikely to find a better one. Specifically: if you're in the South End of Boston, JB works here all the time. They know the neighborhood and everyone loves them. So do we.
