I am writing this review on my husbands yelp account because I do not have an account myself! lol…read more I have nothing but AMAZING things to say about Amber Events and their ENTIRE team!! I had the pleasure of working directly with Nira and Karly, while planning my fairytale wedding in Santorini, Greece. They planned the most beautiful destination wedding for us and I never doubted them for a second through the entire process. They handled absolutely everything for me, from helping me find my perfect wedding dress to surprising us with a kick ass Firework show on our very last day in Greece. They made it possible to truly enjoy the entire wedding planning process, so that I would not have to stress at all. Not only were they the easiest people to work with, but they absolutely NAILED everything I threw at them and SO much more! Their attention to detail, creativity, vision, organization and professionalism is definitely what I loved about them the most! They curated an entire weekend for my wedding party to the tee, from our magical rehearsal dinner on the edge of a cliff in Oia, Santorini. To sailing through the Mediterranean on the most epic catamaran, and obviously making our special day a day that we will never forget! The list goes on and on! All I can say, is that Justin and myself are so thankful to have met such amazing girls like Nira and Karly and will continue to recommend them as planners to everyone that we know!! Love you!!! xx J & T

This review is for Cortney's full planning service for our wedding at The Ebell of Los Angeles in…read moreMay 2026. We found her through The Ebell's preferred vendor list after securing our venue, and booked her about eight months out from our big day -- which many will tell you is on the shorter end of the planning timeline. We had a lot of work to do together over the 8 months, but Cortney made it all possible (and enjoyable as well)! Also worth mentioning - as Bay Area-based clients planning a wedding in Los Angeles, we especially appreciated how seamlessly Cortney supported us through every step of the long-distance planning process. Cortney is infectiously positive and genuinely committed to helping you execute a wedding that feels like you. We came to her with a lot of specific, unconventional ideas -- the kind that a more traditional wedding planner might have pushed back on or struggled to execute. She embraced every single one of them, helped us shape them into something cohesive, and made us feel like no vision was too much to ask for. That willingness to truly work with us rather than steer us toward something more conventional made all the difference. Every person who attended has told us it was the best wedding they've ever been to -- and as cliché as it sounds, it was genuinely the best day of our lives. We were able to be present and enjoy every moment, and on the day itself, we were told we were the most relaxed couple -- which is a direct reflection of the work we put in together with Cortney leading up to it. We also want to specifically call out the vendors she recommended: our DJ, live music, and stationery were all EXCEPTIONAL and felt completely personalized to us in a way we hadn't expected. If you're looking for a planner who is trustworthy, joyful to work with, and will champion your vision no matter how unique it is -- book Cortney. We are so grateful for her and for making this journey as beautiful as the day itself. Photos were taken by the incredible Tomasz Wagner! (IG: tomaszwagnerco)

She made the planning process simple and on the day of the wedding, she was working her butt off to make us feel so stress free. We truly miss working with her on a daily basis but would recommend her to ALL our family and friends who are in need of help planning their special events.

We came in with a loose vision, and she helped us shape it into something beautiful and meaningful. It was really important to us that our wedding included elements from both of our cultures--Mexican and Samoan/Hawaiian--and she made that happen effortlessly. Every detail felt intentional and true to us. Throughout the entire planning process, Foyin was super communicative. From our initial consultation all the way through the day-of, we always felt aligned and supported. And the cherry on top: we actually came in under budget, which felt like a miracle! Thank you, Foyin, for helping us bring our dream wedding to life. You made it all feel so easy and special.

I chose to go with Eight and Rose because the pricing was fair compared to other companies and it was within our budget. We're so glad that we did because Lisa was AMAZING! She's sweet, professional, detail oriented, and so easy to work with. She went above and beyond what I thought a day-of-coordinator would be doing for us. She was a tremendous help with every single part of our wedding. Everything from dealing with the vendors and managing the timeline to helping decorating our centerpiece and wedding cake. She even took photos of us, which was so nice of her to take the time to do! At the end of the night, we had minimal cleaning because Lisa did most of it for us. I don't know what I would have done without her! Even our guests were praising her to me on how great of a job she was doing! Our wedding was seamless thanks to Lisa! Thank you so much Lisa! She was so professional and responsive whether it was texting, calling, or email. I live in NYC and was planning a Southern California wedding. She was always available to meet whenever I'd fly into LA, even at the earliest hours of the morning. I initially sought out Lisa because of her fair pricing, but I'd easily pay double for the coordination she provided. From the minute we had an initial phone call, I could tell she was Type A, which is exactly what you need in a coordinator. My gut told me she was perfect for our wedding, and indeed she was! Wedding Lead Up: We had one initial face to face with Lisa where she got to know our needs and our vision. She provided us with super helpful google docs to keep track of decor, guest list, timeline, vendors, etc. As the months of planning progressed, she was CCd on every email with every vendor, and would follow up where necessary. As a type A person myself, I never thought I'd really need my coordinator to do much, but Lisa would always beat me to the punch with following up for missing information or details our venue and vendors had missed. Walk-through: Lisa did a walk-through with us and our venue's coordinator, where she ironed out all of the details of the floor plan and decor, and remembered to ask for things like a full length mirror in our conference room we had to do hair/makeup. Rehearsal: Lisa was great about telling everyone where to go, how to walk properly, and taking pictures for us so we could rearrange people if we needed to. Our bridesmaid was running late but she was able to coordinate with Lisa to find where we were and make it on time. We felt very at ease and ready for the wedding after the rehearsal. Wedding!!!: Lisa and her assistant were wonderful with setting up all of our decor exactly how and where we wanted it, and believe me we had a lot of it! Lisa had the perfect balance of being invisible but also available right when we needed her. She was there to give me a bandaid when my feet blistered, help my grandma with her corsage, and track down random vendors when we needed them, but also stayed behind the scenes a lot. Everyone says a coordinator is there not for if something happens but when something happens. Well, we know of no such happenings because any mishaps were handled 100% by Lisa as we were enjoying ourselves. She had a great balance of keeping us on schedule while still asking if we wanted 5 or 10 more minutes of mingling with friends. At the end of the night she packed up all of our gifts and decor for us, and we didn't have to worry about a thing. The day after our wedding she even sent us tons of pictures and boomerangs she had taken of behind the scenes moments. These are so special to us, and we'll savor them as we wait patiently for our professional photos. Can't recommend Eight & Rose enough!
