The Simple Luxe - Kai's Cutie Pie Bakery 1st birthday party | A little bakery built just for their sweetest milestone.

The Simple Luxe

I had such a wonderful experience working with The Simple Luxe for my son's first birthday party…read morethat was farmers market themed! From start to finish they were incredibly easy to communicate with- responsive, attentive, and truly listened to what I wanted. Lisa and her team brought my vision to life, and it was even better than I imagined. What really stood out was their willingness to work within our budget without compromising on quality or creativity. They not only designed and set up all the balloons, backdrops, installations but they also spent extra time helping me decorate and design the farmers market with the custom gifts I made and/or purchased for my guests. The entire process felt stress-free and enjoyable. Everything turned out beautifully and we received so many compliments. I am truly honored to be The Simple Luxe's first farmers market themed client and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a talented, reliable, and kind vendor who goes above and beyond. If you have been following them on social media like I was and have an upcoming event - reach out to them and get a quote! You will not be disappointed!

We had an amazing experience with The Simple Luxe for our daughter's first birthday wildflower…read moretheme. Their designer, Lisa, truly brought our vision to life. We also wanted to include our late dog in the design, and she incorporated him so beautifully. Seeing the attention to detail in their previous work is what convinced us to move forward, and all of our guests were blown away by how everything turned out. Jasmine was also a pleasure to work with. She was very communicative, easy to talk to, and made the entire process stress-free from start to finish. She really listened to our ideas, gave us time to make decisions, and helped us stay within our budget. Huge thanks to the setup and cleanup team as well. They were punctual and respectful of the time we had the venue booked. My wife and I would definitely recommend The Simple Luxe to anyone (if it's within your budget). Their hard work and dedication to their clients truly shows in their work.

Our wedding is coming out and for me, the dance is the most stressful part bc I'm not a good dancer…read moreAND Im terrible at public speaking/being center of attention lol. I had originally found a dance teacher through Groupon but the lesson was very random and didn't really have any choreography! So I was even MORE stressed after our first lesson as I felt I had learned nothing! I then assigned my fiancé to find a new dance teacher. Thankfully he found Elena who uses Lai lai dance studio which is walking distance from our apt in downtown Alhambra ! Her rates are the same as anywhere else (and she gives a discount if you buy a package of 3 or 5 etc) My fave thing about Elena is she immediately knew what we wanted. She listened to the song we chose thoroughly and asked us some questions to get to know us and she helped us choreograph a cute routine that went along with the song. Keep in mind we've only had one lesson but we've already learned about 1 min of our song!! Thankfully we want a short routine but she's really good at giving us ideas and getting our feedback about what we feel comfortable with and what we don't like so I really appreciate that!! She also doesn't pressure us to have a certain number of lessons. She understands that we're gonna busier as the wedding approaches! I really appreciated that. Anyways I would definitely recommend Elena to all my friends who need a dance teacher !! I'm excited for our second lesson!

People are super friendly, workers love working there, and drink options are great! They have more than beers. You can have cocktails or soju while bowling haha Shoutout to the Assistant manager, Craig, he was looking after us and making sure we were having fun all night. I'd give my business here again and again. Thanks for being awesome Alhambra Valley Bowl Family!

It actually allows a family to come and enjoy bowling which is very reasonably priced. The location has been shut down for years, but recently opened up. It does have the nostalgic feel, and what is more cool about the place is that the pins are not bound by strings. They are loose pins that get shuffled back in place, which is really hard to find. The maintenance alone, I'm sure can get expensive with a lot of gears moving. The lane was well oiled and my ball was not damaged when returned. One worker manned the register while there were a few working behind the scenes. The workers are very friendly and enjoy their job. Domestic beers are 7 bucks and import at 8 bucks. This place also serves cocktails. The rental shoes were a little beat up, but with the prices, I can't complain. This will be my go to bowling spot!

We rented a bunch of LED furniture from Opus. The booking process was easy and they were very…read moreresponsive and easy to book. Even when I added extra furniture the week of they were super accommodating which I appreciated -- but there were a few hiccups along the way. The day before we were given a delivery window - they showed up about 2 hours early, and I was not home yet to meet them. Not knowing anything about what I needed my husband told them to put everything in our backyard. I came home to a stack of high top chairs about 12-14feet high and plastic wrapped. I know this is how they travel, but it would have been nice if they were left in more realistic stacks. Even on a stepping stool I wasn't tall enough to get them unwrapped and down. Then when night came about 2-3 pieces weren't lighting up. I called the next day (the day of the event) and thankfully they were able to send a friend who was coming this way out to replace the pieces. She was super helpful and lovely. As frustrated as I was that pieces weren't working, this extra effort really helped. But then after the party the following Monday the delivery crew again showed up hours early. They didn't even let us know they were there, they just let themselves into our yard took the furniture and left. Had they come when scheduled and let me know they were here I had tip money for them! While I appreciate them not asking for the tip I don't think they should just silently take the furniture. I had a heart attack when I saw it was gone and then had to check the cameras to confirm it wasn't stolen. Also what if our dogs were in the yard? Next time, definitely let people know you're there! Also knocking off one more star because by 10 pm (and the furniture was turned on at about 5:50) 3 more pieces had died and were no longer lighting up including one of the pieces that was replaced that morning. I'm glad the party was full so no one really noticed, but since I paid for light up furniture it was disappointing to have so many issues with it .

Unfortunate to see the two negative reviews on this page. I've been to all the booze cruises that…read morethey have held this year and they were all really fun. I was there on time to all of them and they either left on time or a little later so not sure how you missed the boat unless you had the wrong time... haha I just think it's a cool different experience than the whole club scene which can get kind of old sometimes. This is pretty cool because you are out in the ocean on a boat listening to really good music and the entertainment is awesome as well. They have games (you're not required to play) but are really fun to watch as well as live dancers and entertainers. As for the person who lost their purse, word to the wise, don't take a purse with you or have it with you at all times. You can't trust anyone on a boat, club, restaurant, etc. It has nothing to do with the club owners, venue owners or restaurant owners. I've lost phones at music concerts and would never bad mouth the venues themselves or the bands. It's not their fault that I lost something... Anyway I thought that comment was kind of funny. I feel bad because I've lost stuff too but getting mad at the wrong people is lame. Anyway, back to my review, if you want to go out have fun and be around people who have good energy and are ready to party I would suggest checking out their next event! I'll be there fo sho!!!

You are paying for a party, and its neat that its on a boat....like a yacht party but its sooo far from that if you don't get the chance to sail out. NOT A ROMANTIC place. Great for ghetto parties. There was a stage that was the main focal area where both my brother-in-law welcomed and took pictures with his guests. The centerpieces were also balloon bouquets that doubled as "disco balls" when seen from afar. The whole ambience was causal elegance and looked stellar. Laura got there early (4:00 pm (on time!)) and was there at midnight to take everything down. She even threw in the big, lighted number 50 for free! She was thorough, polite, professional and creative. We got compliments from just about everybody who attended. I really don't have anything to compare her prices to, but we thought it was fair for the quality and service. Booking was quick and easy and she communicated before, during and after. We wanted balloon decorations, but she does all types of party decor.
