Event Professionals did an amazing job with our wedding!! Planning process: Carisa was so responsive to all of our questions, and was very helpful with all of the organization for our wedding. We planned our Pasadena wedding from afar, and both she and Donaji were so accommodating with meetings and communication via email. After working with them, my husband and I were so glad to have there help with all of the details; they really know what they are doing and they really help you keep everything organized! Price: We really liked that EP has a budget package that has everything you need to have a great wedding (unlike other vendors we looked at where the budget package ends up being way more expensive than quoted because of the necessary add-ons). We were able to start there, and add the things we wanted to spend our budget on (like lounge furniture and string lights) so that we felt like we got a very personalized wedding, without spending money on things we didn't want. Event Professionals has reasonable prices and really works with you on your budget. We never felt like we were being pressured to spend more. One stop shop: They have everything you need. For us, having the caterer, furniture supplier and wedding coordinator all in one place really simplified the planning! There are a lot of things to keep track of when planning, and knowing that they will set up and organize everything is really helpful. Food: Was DELICIOUS! We had the chicken mole and cheese enchiladas at our wedding and people went back for seconds and thirds! We got numerous compliments on how tasty the food was, which I haven't heard at any other weddings I've attended! Day of the wedding: Carisa took care of everything...I could not have been a more relaxed bride and that was partially because I completely trusted her to talk to all the vendors on the day of and have everything set up just how we had discussed. We were skeptical about needing a wedding coordinator before we started the planning process and it was worth every penny to have her there to plan out the day! Loved, loved, loved Event Professionals! Around Thanksgiving my fiance and I decided to combine a New Year's Eve party at our house with a surprise wedding - about 30 days away! In that short time, Donaji (who is super nice and patient!) helped me figure out how to pull off an at-home wedding - that had to start the evening looking like a New Year's Even Party for 50+. my wife and i had our wedding catered by event professionals.. although we weren't in state.. they worked tirelessly with us to get all the minute wedding details by phone and by email.. it was a huge task for a wedding of 200+ people.. but they managed to pull it off successfully.. they also helped us find our vendors and coordinate with all of them.. although my wife and i had somewhat of a budget.. the prices for the top of the line service was a whole lot cheaper than other vendors.. we chose an upgraded menu of veal, chilean seabass and lamb.. additionally.. we had nonalcoholic specialized drinks (e.g. watermelon juice, honeydew and mint and iced tea) for the cocktail hour in addition to our open bar.. they also helped us make our wedding drink (the original mojito) on the day of our wedding.. everything ran smoothly.. mariel (our coordinator) made sure we got fed as well got us our drinks.. she was like a little chipmunk running around making sure everything was on schedule.. we had plenty of compliments from our friends and family that this was one of the best weddings they have ever attended.. we know it's in part to due to our venue (Cravens Estate) and vendors.. but event professionals made it all happen.. we have nothing but praise for event professionals and highly recommend them.. read more

After reading reviews on yelp, wedding sites & blogs, and meeting a couple different vendors, we decided to go with EP. It was the one of the most important and best decisions we could have made for planning our wedding. Donaji is trustworthy, professional, works with your budget (no hidden costs), and provides quality service. Both our wedding ceremony & reception was outdoors at Orcutt Ranch, West Hills, CA on August 27 of 2011. It was, arguably, one of the hottest days of the YEAR! But Donaji and her team came through for me & my mr. to pull off a great wedding with a smile! Planning & Coordination: Donaji works with you from the start to set up the menu, layout, and timeline for the day of. She kept us on schedule for the wedding day, managed all our vendors, and even helped to coordinate the ceremony. Julie was my go to girl the day of, and kept us & our vendors on track! Letty & Marisol also helped assist the day of as well. No matter how stressed and hot I was, they were there with a calm smile on their faces. Another big plus was that Letty made sure my old fashion was never empty and that my mr. was well feed! Food: We did a tasting with her and they even did a sample table set up. We decided to go family style and had the spring mix w/ raspberry vinaigrette, caramelized pecans & feta cheese, grilled vegetables, cheesy risotto (a must), top sirloin w/ jack daniel sauce, ginger glazed salmon & rice pilaf. For passed hor d' oeuvres we had the chicken satay & coconut shrimp. The food tasted great, fresh and hot! Most importantly there was so much food our guests were stuffed. They say brides don't eat, but they made sure I did plus seconds. My mr. wanted more steak, I wanted more risotto... sure! I have been to a few weddings were the food is ok. Here, they do not skimp on quality or quantity. I do have to mention that one of the tables did not get the steaks, which I am sure was an accident by the wait staff. Plus it was the table with my parents, so I felt really bad :( Cake: Donaji recommended Cake Sensations. We even had three flavors! Red velvet, cappuccino & chocolate. Our guests were able to try every flavor and there were enough for seconds and thirds! Most importantly, the cake was moist and tasted very good. Our main cake was beautiful and they decorated exactly how I wanted it. I cannot even begin to express the amount of joy I felt and experienced before, during and after my wedding!!! I got married on September 22, 2012 and I hate to brag but it was the most beautiful sight I had ever laid eyes on and it was all due to the lovely ladies of Event Professionals and staff!!! They made my wedding what it was and it truly was a blessing how perfect the day was! I did not have to lift a finger. Carissa was my coordinator the day of and no one could have done a better job than her! Where do I start??? This is the most amazing group of professional party planners! I hired them for my wedding reception on 07/14/12. They truly surpassed all my expectations. My experience from day one until the end of my party was phenomenal. I credit Event Professionals for making my dream wedding come true! As some of the other brides have mentioned in previous ratings that Ambassador Mansion and Gardens totally threw us for a fast one with the noise ordinance ordeal and EP was quick to go to bat for their clients. I've met with Donaji and her team many times since we signed with them back in December and my wedding was just completed at the end of June. So in about 6 months time i've corresponded with EP over 2 dozen times. Carisa was my day of coordinator and along with Nikki and Anna they were my dream team. They made sure to take care of any questions my vendors/guests had on the day of the wedding before it even reached my attention. An example was that a few of our guests took a short cut and decided to walk behind the band to get to the restrooom and tripped one of the cords and there went the sound. Well EP was right there in a matter of minutes with a few extra chairs blocking that walkway off so it wouldn't happen again! AWESOME and ATTENTIVE. Guests complimented on the food and even said the chicken was so tender they had mistaken it for fish. I could not have asked for better service. We just had our wedding at South Coast Botanic Garden in Palos Verdes Ca on 8.25.12. Event Pros came highly recommended by another couple who had also recently got married at the Garden. The whole process was great. They were very flexible as my now husband and I had designed the wedding ourselves and had an abundance of personal items and things we had personally made just for the wedding that they were happy to accommodate. The food was great too we went to a few tasting and they were by far the best! We had them cater all of our side dishes and hors d'oeuvres (In N Out Burger was our main course). What I really loved was their great attention to detail, they made sure they had everything just the way we wanted it down to the way they folded the napkin! On the day of the wedding everything was set up just the way we wanted it and their staff was outstanding in taking care of us and our guests. When it was over I could hardly believe everything went so perfectly. I had been hearing from other brides that so much stuff goes wrong on your wedding day and you just gotta let it go and roll with it....but I must say it all comes down to the quality of vendors you choose. Let me start by immediately saying that you'd do yourselves a great disservice by NOT going with Donaji and the Event Professionals crew. They were so helpful every step of the way, and the day-of execution was magical. In addition to making some lovely recommendations and putting up with our procrastinating ways and accommodating our unconventional and quirky requests (e.g. they made everything available to us but we insisted on making our own namecards, place settings, numbers, bar; they transported everything for us FYI) Donaji and Letty were there to prompt us, guide us, and back us up throughout the process. On the day of, Donaji and Letty ensured that all our vendors were where they needed to be, and they stayed on top of the schedule. As for the food (the most important element besides the music in my opinion), the quantities were bountiful, the portions incredible, and the flavors fantastic! The service too was spectacular. Not only did my hubby and I get to eat but they made sure that our glasses were never empty and that everything was as expected (it never was- their services far exceeded our expectations). I know they might seem too good to be true based on my praise and their prices, but the end result truly was beautiful. As a matter of fact, while dancing with an engaged friend of mine I asked him if he and his fiancee had started the planning process. He said, "To be honest we'd put it off because it was getting to be overwhelming, but after seeing what you guys have done we're inspired." We were married at The Fowler Lawn of Ambassador Campus in Pasadena on July 25th 2009. It was truly a memorable night, from outstanding place settings, delicious food and great service, each of our guests (approx 120) were immensely impressed. Examples of cuisine included, tons of fresh fruit, shrimp pesto and hummus on a baguette, tuna tartar on a wonton chip, Ginger Salmon, Moroccan Chicken w/ Cous cous + much more. Event Professionals offer quite a menu from which to choose. Donaji and staff members also help walk you through every step of planning and have terrific vendors to recommend. Specifically, weddings can be difficult and stressful but, not only does Event Professionals cater the event but, they help you coordinate. (Don't get me wrong, you still need to do alot to put together the wedding but...EP is a great place to start) Event Professionals is also well priced, once you start pricing, you'll realize this aspect of the wedding is going to be the biggest part of your budget and they are worth every penny. We got engaged in November 2014, just before the holidays began. My Fiancé didn't want to wait a year to get married; he dared me to plan a wedding in 6 months. I was up to the challenge. The best advantage we had was I already knew I wanted Donaji Munoz of Event Professionals to cater, so I called her first. I asked her for locations that would allow us to bring in my own caterer. Within an hour she emailed me a list of locations and a list of vendors that she has worked with. I did my research and decided in a venue located in Diamond Bar, it was between both families and it had a stunning view. I will say we struggled with the date. I was informed that the facility was not going to be available for a Saturday or Friday until 2016. I immediately called Donaji with my concern...she suggested getting married on a Sunday. Sunday? Really? Spoke to my Fiancé and he said "why not?" So Sunday it was... My Fiancé and I booked it and the invitations were printed and sent out before the end of the year. We booked everyone: the photographer, videographer, pastor, florist, cake, DJ, Limo, the person to do my hair and makeup and of course Event Professionals to do the catering. Donaji even went with me to shop for my wedding gown! With the exception of the Photographer, we hired everyone on her vendor list. They were all very professional, courteous and friendly. As soon as I mentioned Donaji's name, they had nothing but kind words to say about her and praised her on her professionalism and knowledge of the business. Up until the day of the wedding, Donaji and I were always in contact. The week before the wedding it rained, I was really stressed out because my wedding was outside. Donaji and I on the eve of the wedding were on the phone late because we were doing the seating chart. Unfortunately, I had last minute seating changes due to guest canceling. I voiced out to her my concern about the rain. Our ceremony was outside, she told me to have faith that God was going to bless me with beautiful weather and He did. My Fiancé and I had told Donaji that we wouldn't be able to do a food tasting due to our schedules. Being Filipino, of course we were going to serve Lechon. From her menu, we selected Chicken with Mango Salsa and Tri Tip of Beef with Au Jus & Horseradish, we asked her which sides would complement each of the three meats, she suggested Risotto and Herb Roasted Red Potatoes, Spring Mix Salad with Raspberry Vinaigrette Dressing with caramelized pecans and feta cheese and the Caesar Salad. Due to our large guests list, Donaji suggested we do it buffet style with a carving station, this way there would be two lines and our guests would get a little bit of everything. We had a cocktail hour before dinner, Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce, Crab Cakes and Coconut Shrimp....with the exception of one crab cake for my Fiancé and I during pictures...we didn't get to taste the other two, but our guests did and they said everything tasted really good! Did I mention we had a Halo Halo Bar! Since we were already having a cake, Donaji suggested we should have a Halo Halo Bar as an alternative to dessert and boy was it a hit! The kids were running to get in line. The evening, days and even a month after our wedding, we are still getting compliments! Everything was beyond words to describe. It was BEAUTIFUL, DELICIOUS, PERFECTION and just GORGEOUS. All this was possible because of Donaji and everyone involved. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I could have not done this without her by my side. We might not have gotten the date we originally wanted, due to the venue location not being available on that date....instead from the day we booked the venue and the date we had the wedding was exactly 90 days or 3 months. Words can not express my gratitude to Event Professionals for their amazing work - in fact without them I don't think we would even of had a wedding. We chose them originally as a caterer for our wedding at a private residence however due to unforeseen circumstances we had to move it to a different location. Event Professionals, while just being our caterer and rental vendor, instantly gave us a ton of suggestions of places they work with and showed us a wealth of information so we could have an informed decision. We chose to go with Ambassador Campus and halfway through when we thought we would lose our reservation due to a new city ordnance restricting then number of times this venue could hold public events it was Event Professionals that saved us again since they were catering another event on the same location on the same day and told the city that our event is part of the first event (which wasn't cancelled since they reserved the location way before we did). We also utilized them for their day of planner who changed from one person to another right before the wedding - this made my fiancee panic as we really liked the first planner we were introduced to however the new planner (Mariel) was a godsend on the day of the wedding. Every single hiccup that happened throughout the day she was able to handle and even problems that I did not know about until after the wedding was taken care of by her. The wedding went by without a hitch, the setup that Event Professionals envisioned for us was beautiful, the food they served during cocktail hour, dinner, and after dinner snacks were amazing, and the day of (although she helped months in advance all the way up to the wedding...) planner was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and on top of EVERYTHING. We originally booked to have our reception at Ambassador Campus (Fowler Garden) then I got sad news 2 months before that I wasn't allowed to have music play till 11 pm. Sadly to say I'm very disappointed with Event Professionals, I sooo wanted to use them for my wedding but their estimates had tons of hidden fees and they even forced my family and I to pay "extra" for their coordinators, and I do mean FORCED, we didn't even want them. Unable to explain why this is and unwilling to remove it we had to switch caterers at the last minute. Good food but hidden fee's and an establishment that was unwilling to work with you can be a problem in the long run. read more

I just had my wedding and I didn't have a huge budget compared other Palm Springs wedding are. I knew I was going to have a smaller intimate wedding ~75, and I found a perfect venue in Palm Springs that would allow me to bring my own caterer. I didn't realize how difficult it was to find a caterer. Many of the caterers out there were incredibly overpriced or if they were in my price range, they didn't have many reviews. So I started to look for caterers in the LA area/OC area that would go out to Palm Springs. Many places seemed to have huge issues with the distance, or charge a big surcharge, or I would have to take care of all the the other incidentals like rentals. Being in grad school, I didn't want to deal with that and it was nice that EP is a one stop shop for things. Carisa was my coordinator, and was really on top of everything and very sweet. I recently got married on 4/24/16. I found Donaji through a venue that I booked. The venue ended up not working out but Donaji was my greatest gift from that experience. Donaji is extremely organized, quick to respond, and has reasonable pricing. After my first over the phone meeting with Donaji (lasted 2 hours) I knew that she knew what she was doing. She is VERY detail oriented and goes above and beyond. She helped me find and negotiate a new venue when my precious venue fell through. On the day of my wedding she made my vision come to life. Her husband is a caterer and I LOVE his food. He was able to execute our menu of chicken, waffles, macaroni and cheese, and candy yams perfectly. We even had a taco bar and churros late night. All of my guest raved about the food! Donaji's team that was on site the day of the wedding were extremely professional and very kind. Her right hand woman for the day, Dora was the nicest! I originally contacted Event Professionals for day-of coordinating but Donaji ended up helping me coordinate all my rentals, catering, servers, and my day-of timeline starting from the moment I wake up on my wedding day. We just had our wedding last weekend at the Adamson House and we were really happy with Event Professionals. From the first time we meet with Donaji, they were very professional and organized. They also spent a lot of time going over every detail which really helped us focus and get organized too. We hired them for the catering and rentals, and their package also comes with a day of coordinator which is sooooo helpful. We worked with Carisa and she was super organized throughout all the planning, and was very responsive to my emails throughout our planning process. And on the day of the wedding, she kept everything on time and in order. There are so many things to do on your wedding day (toasts, dances, pictures, cake cutting, etc), it is really great to have someone there helping you stay on schedule throughout the whole day. With her help, it allowed us to really enjoy our wedding day with our guests, since we knew we were in good hands! We were invited to a beautiful wedding located in a prominent outside venue that was catered by Event Professionals. This was without a doubt the worst catering event I have ever been involved with. There 200 guests sitting at about 15 tables. There was a salad course followed by the main meal of risotto, roasted vegetables, potato wedges, salmon and a cut of beef, all served family style. The problem was that they delivered all the risotto to all the tables, then the roasted vegetables, then the roasted potatoes, all of which were cold. The salad was then delivered so you had all this cold food setting on the table waiting for the main course. Both were served luke warm. They were clearly understaffed and did not serve the food in a rational sequence (i.e. a complete serving by table before moving to the next table). Salads are sales but they should be first not in-between. I do not believe the food was prepared onsite because, for example, the potatoes appeared and tasted like something left out overnight on the table then served. I am glad to say that people still give me compliments on the food and service at my wedding. I got married on October 08 at The Wattles in Hollywood and used Event Professionals for their catering services. I was very pleased with the service that I received from them from day one. They not only accomodated my requests, but also worked with my budget. I had a wedding planner-my great friend Orlando, working with me and we had gone to several caterers prior to finding Event Professionals. I met with Donaji and her staff Meredith. There was something about Donaji that really made me feel calm-perhaps all that experience in the wedding business. I decided tohire Donaji and her company because I really felt confident that they would deliver the job on my wedding. I was very impressed by the quality, taste and presentation of the food. The service was excellent. The great thing about them was that they are more than just a catering business. They will go through every detail of the wedding prior to the day so you really get a sense of what the day entails. I definitely highly recommend them. You will not have to worry about a thing. Event Professionals provided the catering, bar service and decorations for our AMAZING double wedding held at a private venue in Malibu on October 6, 2012. Donaji and her staff along with our coordinator pulled off a SIGNIFICANT stressful last minute change from an indoor reception set up to an outdoor reception set up. At the last minute the venue owner refused to remove all of the furniture from the indoor area where we initially planned to hold the reception. Donaji and her team quickly came up with plan B to move the reception outdoors. The weather was so perfect! The staff set up the reception tables during the cocktail hour in such an organized manner that our guests were unaware of the last minute changes being made. We don't feel any other caterer could have pulled this off with such poise and professionalism. Event Professionals transformed the venue into a magical breathtaking celebrity status event. Our guests raved over the fresh fruit beverages, especially the Kiwi, the delicious dinner buffet and the cocktails. They also commented the ginger glazed salmon, chicken marsala and risotto were a hit! My husband and I had attended tastings with several catering companies and EP's food was by far the best tasting and the most reasonably priced. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the quality and service EP provided. We highly recommend Event Professionals and give them a 5 star rating. Several caterers were listed but Event Professionals caught our attention because they were also coordinators and planners. We had a thorough consultation with Donaji (owner) about what our vision and expectations were, and also what we needed help figuring out. She was so calm and professional, that we felt at ease that Event Professionals was right for us. She recommended that we return for a tasting, to experience a sample of their catering options and table arrangements. The food was excellent, and we thought it was great to meet their other recommended vendors for alcohol, DJ, and see what a florist could do for centerpieces. We were asked what sample table setup we'd like to see, centerpiece, and what food we'd like to try. There were other couples there and it was fun and informative to see the range of what they could do to fit different styles, themes, and tastes. We were hooked and had to book them. Donaji and her team were so great at always being available for additional consultations throughout the entire planning process, even answering late night emails the week and day of the wedding. There was no way we could have had such a memorable and successful wedding without Event Professionals, because there were moments our wedding could have derailed (late buses transporting our guests, late officiant, ceremony running over time), but she kept the whole day of events on track and caught us up to the planned schedule during dinner. We were not easy clients and had some non-traditional requests, but Donaji saw them all through. Event Professionals was worth every penny and then some. They worked with our budget but delivered high end luxury. Our guests cannot stop raving about the ceremony, the abundance and quality of food all throughout the day, desserts, and décor, and it was all thanks to Event Professionals. Donaji's assistant coordinator for our wedding, Dora, checked on us all day to see what we needed. We had never heard of any team of coordinators being so attentive and ensuring we were happy, literally all day long. We're looking forward to a milestone anniversary when we will absolutely be return clients. We can't thank Donaji and Event Professionals enough for the beautiful wedding we had. We used to think it was an exaggeration to remember your wedding as one of the best days of your lives, but, thanks to Event Professionals, for us it truly was. read more
