At the same time, I had mentioned that my stove/oven was broken, along with my garbage disposal, and he took a look at it and gave me a quote to fix it in the same visit! And then was able to come back to fix those items as well once he got the parts in to do so, which are both also running better then before they broke! I reached out to 3-4 different places about fixing our donut machine, and this was the only one…read morethat said they could do it. Artur, the technician, was very thorough and explained clearly why the machine wasn't working. His English isn't perfect, but he made sure I could understand everything. The replacement part had to come from China, which took about two weeks, but during that time he kept me updated regularly. Once the part arrived, he tested the machine multiple times to make sure it was working properly before giving me the final estimate. Considering the amount of time and effort he spent, the price was very reasonable. Artur isn't just skilled with donut machines, he also works on refrigerators, dishwashers, ice machines, laptops, and more. You can tell he's been in this field for a long time and really knows what he's doing. I'm very satisfied with the service and will definitely call them again if I need help with any equipment in the future.

UPDATE: Jack must have had a cancellation in his schedule…read moreand called to let me know he had some time available today. He came directly over once I confirmed. The result was nothing short of perfect. Because Jack was kind enough to answer my questions over the telephone ahead of time, he had a pretty good idea about what to troubleshoot when he arrived. He replaced a malfunctioning fan, looked over some other parts, and just like that our Thanksgiving plans were literally back on the table! And did we get taken hostage on price given that this was a "must-fix-now" emergency? Nope. In fact, the price was shockingly lower than I would have expected, just over $200. Jack is what I would call a traditional (aka "Old-school") business owner. He is a decent person, honest/value driven, communicates superbly and obviously has the skillset required to successfully repair so many types of appliances. This is one of the few 5-star generating businesses that truly hit the mark. Also want to share this. After I called Jack and was told his schedule was booked for a few days, I called another place and had a repairman come out. He quoted us $780.00 after looking at the unit for 45 seconds (literally). I was standing right there shaking my head and asking him to inspect more closely. He said, "Why, it is obvious what the problems are." He then told me the parts are out of stock. Then things went from feeling dirty to sleazy. He said his company had a fridge that could be delivered the same day for only $3,499.00. That's when I realized I really screwed up. Never call a repairman who works for company that also has a showroom of appliances for sale. Jack's number is now safely stored in my contacts!
