I haven't had the need to use appliance repair companies until recently when my Side-by-Side refrigerator door would not seal properly. I guess I've been fortunate. My daughter recently used BEST and said that Paul was responsive and capable. She was right. Paul responded to my text almost immediately, came to my home, assessed the problem, gave me a cost, ordered the part and in less than a week I'm back in business. He keeps in touch letting you know when he is on his way and how much time before he arrives. I can easily recommend him. Thanks Paul. read more

We have an almost 20 year old subzero 601R. We contacted Paul and he came for the appointment the same day and worked through a very complicated problem where the temperature would not read correctly or stay consistent across the shelves. He did a fantastic diagnostics job. He was able to successfully repair the refrigerator by replacing the control panel, fans, and thermistors. He gets his parts from the high quality subzero parts center that the subzero warranty service uses. He is respectful and neat as well when in your home. I highly recommend this company for appliance repairs! read more

B.E.S.T. Appliance Repair - Appliances & Repair Near Me - La Jolla, California

As a retired contractor of 30 years here in SD, I am pretty handy. When my Viking range started having some problems I switched into self reliance mode and put a lot of effort into trying to fix the problem. I couldn't solve the riddle so after looking over quite a few reviews here on Yelp, I decided on Best. Paul showed up and I liked him from the get go. I laughed out loud when he solved the problem in under 10 minutes! I was so impressed with his abilities that I had him come back and replace the entire cooling system on my aging, but still pristine commercial refrigerator. It was an expensive job but Paul make it look routine. He is my new go to guy. I can't recommend his expertise strongly enough. read more

I just had Paul with best Appliance repair freezer that was dripping water on the floor. Turned out it was a plugged drainage tube. The situation was diagnosed quickly and the repair happened within 1 hour. Also had the benefit of having a completely cleaned out freezer unit when the project was over. Excellent customer service. It took about a week to get them here because they are quite busy. But once a schedule was made for when the repair would be done it was kept to. Good communication during the whole process. read more

I called BEST Appliance Repair because my high-end refrigerator stopped working in Valley Center. Paul immediately answered his phone and was at my house the same day diagnosing the issue. He ordered all the parts and had it fixed within just a few days. It definitely wasn't a cheap repair however, he had it done within just a few hours of arrival and the refrigerator has been working flawless since. Additionally he took several follow-up calls from my home warranty insurance company to ensure that they covered the entire bill minus deductible. Great job Paul and keep up the good work. read more

I would recommend to anyone looking for appliance repair. I called Saturday afternoon to ask about the ice maker on our Samsung refrigerator. My husband and I had problems with our oven for some time now. It's hard to find good and trustworthy experts to come inside your home and know what to do to fix things without breaking more. We were so happy to find Paul!! Thank you! Paul quickly found the problem and in the end it saved us time and any stress because Paul showed us the different options to fix it and how he was going to do it. It was very clear he knew what he was doing. My oven is quite pricey, it is good quality. I was worried about anyone charging me lots of money and finding out later there was still a problem. I'm very happy that with Paul none of that happened. I will recommend him to all my friends. You can be happy to know he will be the right person to help you and he is a friendly person to make the experience go smoothly. You won't want to hire anyone else after Paul! read more

I used Yelp to choose this company including the scheduling online. This is as much of a compliment to Yelp as much as BEST, both came through in getting my refrigerator repaired. Very satisfied with BEST's service -- fast, easy, and professional -- and insanely happy with our technician, Paul. My washer wasn't draining, was filling up with water, and was leaking all over the floor, so I called BEST and was fortunate enough to have Paul show up only 3 hours later! Turns out, I just need to replace the washer since it's so old, but regardless I really appreciated the extra time and effort Paul put into the service. After draining the washer for me BY HAND, he then took out his own personal hand towel from his car and attempted to clean up the spillage/leakage on the floor. He also offered to clean our bathroom sink where he was dumping the water. Very respectful and thoughtful. He even recommended some next steps regarding new plumbing and installation. Got his business card at the end of it all just in case I ever need his help again! read more
