Brand new Tesla Charging Station opened! This one is on the corner of South St. and Woodruff Ave. There are 20 charging stations available. It is 250 kW but the fastest it charged my car was 75kW. There are a couple eateries available [Church's chicken, El Pollo Loco, Thai Vila, and more] and 7/11 in the parking lot. I order from Thai Villa and by the time my food is ready for take out, my car is done. Also, directly across the street, Starbucks, Rite Aid, and Vons grocery store. This will definitely be my new charging station when Cerritos is packed and I don't want to charge at home.

It's…read moretoo bad that there were trash strewn everywhere despite the placement of at least 4 bins I could see out the window. The entrance and exit can be somewhat confusing. The charging speed was also very slow. I arrived with a preconditioned battery sitting around 59%. It took me 40 minutes to charge despite having nobody parked next to me the entire time. Craziness. The rates are actually decent at 0.39c/kWh making it one of the cheapest in the area to charge after 0800 and before 1200. I wouldn't mind revisiting if I am in the vicinity again.

New Tesla Supercharger!…read more It's conveniently located off the 605 freeway- Carson street exit. The Supercharger is located in the front of the Hawaiian Gardens Casino parking lot. There are 32 250kW chargers with additional Tesla marked parking for the casino. Plenty of parking, nicely lit parking lot, with many of people around. Felt safe charging at night.
