Super! Took my nephew there after some unpleasant experiences elsewhere. They were patient and professional considering he is a first time contact wearer. No stupid rules or lack of patience on their part. My nephew have not stopped raving about his first visit with them. I, myself am a regular. The eye exams are very thorough and if you tell the doc what your issues/challenges/concerns are." with your vision, lens and etc. He will work out a solution to tackle all without you having yo break the bank or carry around multiple glasses for different reasons. I truly recommend. You won't be disappointed of the service. read more

Came in for a vision exam a few months ago. I called several places around midtown for the OOP cost as I have no vision insurance, and Eurovision was by far the best priced. I scheduled a same day appointment easily. The doctor was kind, attentive and gave great recommendations for contact choices. They do sell contacts and have many glasses available in house. I'd recommend and will be coming back read more

Had to stop in for an eye exam because I needed to renew my license. Unfortunately, I don't have vision insurance, but the eye exam only cost $50 and no appointment was necessary. The place is nothing fancy, but the workers are nice (even though it would've been nice to have gotten some warning about the puffs of air shot at my eyeballs lol) and I was in and out of there in less than 30 minutes. Dr. Haddad was very nice and helpful in getting everything I needed plus it was helpful that he could submit the eye exam online so I could renew my license online after about 30 minutes. read more

I had my first visit today and was so impressed that I'm writing this review same day! They are walk-in only which is actually more efficient than it sounds - this way you don't have to worry about being late or set up an appointment. Everyone was friendly and nice - a welcome change from all of the other eye offices I've visited in NYC. I came in for a standard eye exam but my left eye was feeling a little irritated - Dr. Haddad did a quick exam, found a little microbead in there and took it out right away. At other eye offices, it can feel like a transaction - get your exam, get out. At this office, the doctor gave me more information about my eyesight, made sure all my concerns were addressed, and took time to answer my questions. With all the attention, I was still in and out in about 30 minutes. Will definitely be coming back here (they take Aetna Vision Preferred just an FYI)! The ONLY slightly negative is the office a little older but the staff and services more than make up for it. read more

This morning my wife and I had our eye exams as we do every two years at Eurovision, everyone is so friendly and professional, during these covid times everything at Eurovision is by appointment and care is taken such as wiping down the instruments and social distancing, the exam is very complete and the Doctor is outstanding, Eurovision has a large display of available eyeglass frames for you to choose from, I'm always recommending Eurovision to friends and co-workers. read more

The easiest place to get your examination and glasses all at once, first time here with my wife's insurance plan UFT...in and out in an hour . Very professional. Got my glasses in a week . Will definitely come again . So convenient if you work in midtown. Thanks so much guys . L Valentin read more

Dr and staff are all great. I would highly recommend. Very helpful showed my how to insert contacts. Showed me images of my eyes.

LOVE this place. Efficient and pleasant! My first visit and I'm a fan! Walk-in's only, just showed up, and got my eyes checked. Whole visit took less than 15 min!! Perfect for busy NYC working woman! I came here during lunch to check up on my eyes since it wasn't feeling good.Front desk was pleasant and it was an easy process (even for a first-timer!) Dr.Haddad personally greeted me shortly after I checked in with the front desk. He was very professional, patient, and thorough. It's located 1st floor with a store-front. HUGE store-front for Manhattan standards! A lot of glasses on display. I love how it's not one of those walk-up to the 2nd floor doctor's office. This place is straight-forward and no-frills. I left with a peace of mind and a great experience! Would highly recommend this place! read more

Possibly the worst experience I have ever had in a store. Maybe I just have a charmed life but this was just really terrible. One of the rubber nose-nubs on my glasses fell off, so I came here to get a replacement. The man showed me the only model he had in stock and said he could change them out for five dollars. They were not the exact model I currently had but figured why not. He takes the glasses and goes to work. Turns around a minute later and says, sorry, they don't fit, and hands me back my glasses. I put them on and I can immediately tell something is wrong. I take them off, and on inspection notice that the metal nosepiece that attaches to the nub is broken almost in two. First he tries to tell me that is normal. I assure him it is not. I ask him to fix it, he says it is not broken. As I put my glasses on, of course the metal breaks off. I show it to him, and demand that he fix it. He says sorry, we don't take any responsibility for items that we work on that were not purchased from this store. After a couple minutes of me explaining to him that he broke my glasses and should fix them, he says he can order a spare part for $40. I say, you broke it, I would appreciate if you would make it right. No luck. Go in to fix my glasses, and leave with them broken. TL;DR -- NEVER COME HERE. TERRIBLE IN EVERY CONCEIVABLE WAY. read more

I rarely posts reviews, but I've had such great service at Eurovision that I feel obligated to write one. I have been here a few times almost always last minute and late near their closing time and I've always been attended to quickly without any hesitation or attitude. Simon at the front desk is always very nice and helpful with a smile. From pulling up my file to answering my questions, and tallying up the remainder of my bill after insurance coverage. I feel very comfortable here during my eye exam and never feel like I'm just another customer. I recommended Eurovision to my friends and will continue doing so. read more

Today I made the 2nd visit to repair my eyeglasses which I'd not got from this place. Staff were so kind and fixed them immediately. Thank you so much! My 1st visit was last year, for having eye exam & getting a pair of new glasses. It was a great experience with efficiency. read more

Best experience I've had with an optician hands down. No appointments, just walk in and give them your name. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes to see a doctor. I've also been there 4 times in the past month trying to get the right contacts brand + prescription and they've been as patient as can be, offering suggestions and explanations for every question/issue I've had. read more

I went to Eurovision Optical because it was on my way to a business meeting; I had no appointment. I was very pleased by the exam from the doctor who was very informative, friendly and soft spoken. Then seem to have the latest equipment as they were able to fully examine my retina (which had detached a few years ago). Up front I was treated very well by the stylish young man who went through many frames to find one which was just right for me face. My digital progressive bi-focals were half the price of the store I had been shopping at in Chelsea. I checked the price of my frames (from Prada) on ebay and the prices were very close. Overall it was a fantastic experience. read more

I used to work around the corner from Eurovision and all my coworkers told me to come here for new glasses. You don't need to make an appointment and they're good about giving accurate wait times. I had been wearing the wrong prescription for several years (my old doctor missed my astigmatism and then I didn't have eye coverage for a while), so when they fixed it, the new prescription was too much of an adjustment for me. The doctors here were great about switching me to a prescription that felt more comfortable for me, even if it's not 20/20. As someone who's experienced major sticker shock at eye doctors before - where I was charged $200 for glasses even when I had insurance and my own frames! - this place was a welcome change. Their staff was clear about what each type of frames cost and there was a good selection of frames that were totally covered by my insurance. I ended up paying nothing but my $25 co-pay for new glasses that I'm very happy with. read more

Very pleasant, professional and efficient service, no hidden fees. Definitely recommended.

I come here every year and they are flipping fantastic. It's not too expensive, but they have all the top brands. It works with my insurance and everything is hunky dory. GO THERE! read more

Walked in and there were a few people there but was mostly ignored. Seemed the girl in front was too busy on her phone to want to help me or anyone and then when I finally spoke to someone, who I later found out to be the "manager", I was so turned off by his attitude that I left. He pretty much just wanted to get me out of the door as soon as possible so he could go back to doing nothing. Please save your energy and good mood for another place. Still in search of glasses as we speak. Any suggestions? I signed up for yelp just to post this review, copy and pasted it from my google review. So you can tell how incredible unhappy I was with this place. read more

Came here for frames only, no exam. They were able to order the Burberry frames I wanted and gave me a reasonable price (another place that was able to order them had given me an outrageous price quote). Were very clear about how much insurance would cover - no surprises. Had them ready quick. Staff was neither friendly nor unfriendly. Overall, I was satisfied with my experience here. read more

I was recommended Eurovision Optical by a friend, who goes there for years. My old optical store went out of business and I needed a new pair of glasses so I visited EO. The staff was very friendly and went to great lengths to satisfy my pickiness regarding the new frame ( I had a prescription from my Doctor). I have got the new pair two days earlier than expected and they double checked the fit and the lenses before I picked them up. Overall I am very happy with the new pair and the customer care they provided. Will return ! read more

I've been going here for the past 5 years. The doctors are both excellent and explain things to you. Eye exams are quick and thorough. I have only ever had to wait more than 10 minutes once, and that was at the end of the year when everybody is trying to use FSA dollars. They accept my VSP insurance and glasses are well priced. The optician is very helpful when choosing frames and usually selects the ones I end up getting. Could not recommend more highly! read more

So easy. Nice doctor, very helpful, fast. No appointment is amazing - just walk in, wait a short time, see the doctor, get a prescription. If getting fitted for contact lenses, he'll give you a trial pair to make sure they work before giving you your prescription,or he'll order one for you to come back the next day. They take VSP insurance as well. read more

Eye exam went fine, staff was nice, glasses arrived timely. You know what really got my goat? I go for a complete eye exam to get new glasses. I'm told my eyes are healthy. I try to order contacts online (yes, they are significantly cheaper) and get blocked by Eurovision. They want another $60+ for another eye exam 2 weeks after my last one to "fit me for contacts". Are you kidding me?! I have been wearing contacts for 20 years, I know which ones I need, I don't need a "fitting". They didn't even try to negotiate a better price for me. I realize this is some ridiculous federal regulation, but $60+ for another eye exam??? I went and ordered my contacts from Canada, where price gouging by the medical community is clearly not as prevalent. Just running through other reviews and it looks like they blocked another client from buying contacts online even after having been fit for contact lenses within 3 months. That is ILLEGAL. read more

Exceptional attention to service and to the client or patient. Wonderful selection of glasses and contacts. The doctor was amazing!

This place sucks I went there in the morning and nobody came to the glass counter to help. They had 2 girls standing there doing nothing. I would never go there again. read more

They was very patient with me and the doctor was nice I had questions and he had answers just amazing

I have to say, I dont often review things, but the whole staff and the young Dr. Haddad deserve to be recognized for their professionalism and excellent service. First of all I walked in at 5:15 on a Friday, which is 15 minutes prior to closing time, they still happily welcomed me and gave me a thorough and informative eye examination as well as assisted me in selecting my frames and also took care of all my insurance information. This was a fantasstic experience and would recommend this business to anyone, in fact I will be sending the wife there for her exam soon... read more

I loved this place. Best, Most thorough and less invasive eye exam ever. The doctor took the time to explain everything to me. I was in and out in an hour! read more

Optometrist was very nice and knowledgeable. The manager in the front who handles ordering was very rude. He refused to refund these oasis contacts after I have bad reactions to those. When I placed my order of contacts on the internet who tried to call them for prescription verification they told the vendor my prescription was expired...really? I didn't know they expire after 3 month. read more

Went in to have my frames adjusted since they felt crooked. They did it in 30 seconds and didn't charge me anything. Really great.

Awesome easy to walk-in and have your eyes examined and pickup lenses or glasses within a resasonable amount of time (days). This place is close to where I work, and works with my insurance coverage so that's a bonus. read more

Fixed my frames for free! After I changed insurance and no longer had them in my plan, they took me in and fixed my damaged frames for no charge! Good as new. I wasn't able to fix the frames on my own and thought I would have to buy me new ones. Original eye exam and frame fitting went great last year, but this really cemented this place for me. Too bad my insurance doesn't cover it now or I would keep on going. But definitely are honest people here who aren't trying to rip you off. read more

One of the smoothest and most pleasant transactions I've had in New York. I went in for an eye exam for my driver's license. Dr. Haddad and the entire staff were wonderful; friendly, knowledgeable, and very patient with all my questions. I was in and out in 15 minutes. read more

I've been a customer of Eurovision for over 5 years now and I have to say they always provide me with the best customer service. I just went today to get my eyes examined and to purchase new glasses and it took a total of about 30 minutes to complete everything. The staff at the front desk are friendly and knowledgeable. The optometrists are amazing. I always leave Eurovision with some amazing eye wear and a smile on my face:) I would highly recommend visiting Eurovision Optical for your eye wear needs! read more

I was really impressed with the quality of service that the Optometrist provided. Professional, kind, and courteous. When my answers to his questions were not proven very helpful (the better/worse lens comparison that they do), he performed some other technique that hit my 20/20 right on the spot. read more

I came in because they advertised DMV eye exams. It was explained to me that they give regular eye exams and that it would be submitted to DMV and it was not a separate exam. I wear contact lenses and needed an exam anyways, so said this was fine. The exam was fine and the doctor was great. We talked about the fact that I primarily wear contact lenses and how my eyes were feeling in them, etc. When I was getting ready to pay, the doctor asked me if I wanted to order more contact lenses. I thought I might I still have a box at home and declined, but said I wasn't sure and could I call back and order at a later date. The doctor told me that when I called back to order to mention that I needed contacts that allow more oxygen in the eye. I called back today to order contacts (6 weeks later), and was told I needed to come in for yet another exam. That I wasn't fitted for contacts. I explained that I had an eye exam and was asked when I was there if I wanted to order contacts and hadn't at the time. I wouldn't have had an eye exam where I couldn't order contact lenses afterwards. That makes no sense. They didn't help me at all. I feel like I was totally scammed in order to come back and pay for another exam. I'm taking my business elsewhere. ****Reading the other low rated comments I can see I wasn't the only one this happened to. This place is a scam. read more

Dr. David Haddad and staff are attentive and professional.I have been a patient for a number of years, and each time that I've had issues/problems,he has quickly, expertly and successfully addressed them.In addition he has ensured that the glasses I've purchased have always been carefully fitted and adjusted,as needed read more

This place is wonderful. I've had previous eye examination places refuse to give the pupillary distance (PD) or try to force me to buy glasses. They offered me the entire prescription without my needing to ask. Was a breeze! Highly recommended. read more

Another unhappy customer! BUYER BEWARE.......after going thru an eye examine, picking out both regular and sun glasses, I was assured that they would be ready in a week. Well a week plus has expired and I still do not have my glasses and they cannot tell me when they would be ready. So, that lead me to trying to cancel the order, so i could buy glasses at a more reliable store. Trying to cancel the order took forever and they did not want to give me credit for an eye exam that I cannot use anywhere else. Currently I am on the phone w my insurance company trying to work this out, so I can get glasses tomorrow. Bottom line is that I have invested a few hours in EUROVision and have nothing but wasted time and an aggravated stomach. I would highly recommend not going to this store! Good news is the insurance company has helped and is allowing me to get another eye exam for free. But it just goes to show how poorly run this store is when a dissatisfied customer has to do all the leg work when EUROvision has screwed up. Since I never post yelp reviews, I was happy to see that others have had similar problems. See Jordan L.' s post on 11/21/2012 or HB on 8/31/2012. I have a suspicion that all the positive reviews are written by friends and family. read more
