While I don't currently own a pair of glasses from Europtics I have been to the store more than once and can say with certainty that I will definitely own a pair in the near future. My expectations were exceeded when I came in with a pair of sunglasses in need of repair (I lost a screw). These are not Europtics sunglasses, let's just say that they're the first pair of sunglasses I've managed not to lose so for that reason alone I'm having a difficult time letting go (maybe I need a twelve step plan). A woman was quick to assist me and whisked my sunglasses into the back and brought them back to me fixed (with screw) and cleaned in only a few short minutes. No charge for this, only excellent customer service and friendly conversation. As I start letting go of my current pair of sunglasses I see myself returning and buying the Tom Ford sunglasses I fell in love with. Until then, I have the screw I need and am able to see during the sunny Denver days. read more

I called into this location, asking if they repaired sunglasses. Not only was the staffer I spoke with helpful and kind, but to my surprise, he informed me that they fix any type of glasses, FOOOOO FREEEEEE! I went in within the hour and had two staffers (Shoutout to Rick and Jason) who were incredibly helpful and had my banged up glasses, fixed and back in my hands, within a matter of minutes. I was super impressed with the customer service and I will definitely be back whenever I have any issue with a pair of glasses. My four star rating is specifically for the selection here. I went in looking for a new pair of Alain Mikli glasses and was promptly helped. I found a great pair of frames, but wanted them in a different color than they had in stock and was told they would need to call the company and contact me after checking availability. I find the prices to be on the high end of what these frames cost--$400 in store, $368 online. So, there is a definite markup for the overhead in Cherry Creek. After reading the other reviews I will likely not get lenses done here, but may purchase the glasses so I have a place locally where I can get them serviced, if necessary. Brick and mortar stores often will not be able to compete with online pricing, and I always feel badly about using a store to do try-ons, then buying online. If another local store carries the same brand for less then that is another story! Bottom line: If you are in the market for glasses, Europtics has a large selection of high quality inventory. They carry brands like La Fonte, Ray Ban Oliver Peoples, Alain Mikli, Paul Smith, Paul Frank, and many more. Check them out if you are in the area! read more

I am almost embarassed to admit I bought a pair of glasses here. My ex has had his outdoor glacier style glasses (heavy frames, leather peripherals, and the Cool Hand Luke reflective coating) for years. I didn't even want to know what he paid for them. This year, I had to replace my "main" pair of glasses. I have prescription sunglasses for driving, reading glasses and the combo distance plus bec I really need trifocals but can't find glasses big enough to really do it all. So I started buying separated ones years ago. You see, it started because I wanted blue frames. I have had several pairs over the years but I couldn't find them at my usual places or even the other cheap places. I looked online, too. I was about to order a pair of "vintage" blue frames and take a chance at getting the lenses to fit when I decided to "go see". My justification? I am nearly 60 and I don't look that stunning anymore. I wear glasses everyday and I want to look good. So I go there and find 4 or 5 pairs of blue glasses that I like. Great! One pair cost so much...half the cost of my vacation this year, and it was a splurge. So I pared it down. The lady put up with the fact that I was there at 530 p.m. on a weeknight with my daughter (developmentally delayed but polite) and we were there possibly an hour and a half. Then when I returned on a Saturday for the fitting it was also busy. Do I regret it? Not a bit. Do I wish I hadn't spent the money? Not at all. My glasses look great and they are...almost....what I wanted. After all, I could have sprung for the high priced pair. Maybe next year I'll skip my vacation and get some....... P.S. Beware: I was told they don't take insurance but afterward my insurance told me they have some coverage for places that don't even take the insurance...was not a big deal to me as I knew I had to buy a second pair within a couple months, and was planning to use the insurance for that pair. read more

I wanted to find frameless glasses but was having trouble finding ones with both stems and lens shapes I liked. One guy showed me almost every option in the store, but it wasn't until almost two hours later that he mentioned I could choose any lens shape for any stems I wanted -- this was after I'd found stems I liked but had commented multiple times on how the lens shape didn't work. So although the guy who was very patient, he wasn't too helpful and clearly didn't listen to a thing I said. I was willing to fork out some $$$ since I thought I'd just chosen -- and partially designed! -- my perfect pair of glasses. But alas, I had to bring them back a couple weeks later because the fasteners fell apart. They fixed it right there (no apologies, of course, but maybe I just come off as a reckless person) but mentioned they might need to be "sent back for further work" if it happened again. For a place that tries to come off as upscale and chic, they're not doing a very good job beyond their snooty, unapologetic attitude. read more

Europtics in Cherry Creek is hands down the best eyewear store in Denver You can find anything there. You got your high end and your upper midrange and your um midrange. Okay, so it's a little pricey, but that's not really their fault. The whole designer eyewear industry is designed to separate you from your hard earned money. You really have to judge the store on their selection and service because if you want cheap, there's always the place in the mall that can do it in an hour or less for under 100 dollars. The staff of Europtics is what makes the store great. They help you match you to the best frame for your face, and they have many years of experience in this. And they won't steer you to the most expensive frames; if the cheaper plastic frames look better on your face than the sleek space-age metal ones, they'll honestly tell you. They are also very patient; they are happy to show you case after case of frames, and encourage you to think it over and come back later if you are uncertain. My children love going there with us when things aren't so busy because they are happy to talk to them about what books they have recently read. Now, we might have gotten to know the folks at Europtics a little better than most--each one of my family of four eyeglass wearers has to cycle through there at least once a year--but the friendly staff makes the experience quite enjoyable. read more

This place deserves 6 stars. I've lived in NY and SF and would still prefer to go to Europtics for cool eyewear. Why so awesome? - huge selection including hard to find or quirkier brands (e.g., Barton Perreira) - willingness to customize things and really work with you to get what you want (e.g., I wanted a prescription for my tinted Tom Ford shades and they special ordered the glass so that mine looked just like the non-prescription shades) - willingness to take returns if you aren't happy (e.g., my boyfriend bought and wore a pair of Oliver Peoples prescription glasses, decided after a week that he didn't like them on his face and they took them back and set him up with a new pair) - speed They validate parking or you can pay a couple dollars to park on the streets in Cherry Creek North. read more

I needed to replace my tennis sunglasses and had just left a local tennis store because of poor customer service, (see my review), and thought I'd try Europtics because it is not in the mall, and it's on my way home. I'm not a Cherry Creek chic lady - had on a sporty skirt and tee-shirt, and was carrying my "shelter-poo" dog in my arms. This place is the ultimate in cool, sleek Cherry Creek design, and on the "rodeo drive" of the neighborhood. My doggie and I were warmly greeted, and given a friendly, complete, and concise overview of the glasses that fit my needs. I was finished in 5-10 minutes, and out the door with a very smart pair of Switch sunglasses together with 2 extra pair replaceable lenses in different colors. Bright, open, airy space. Sometimes the light is actually too much when contrasted with the overhead lamps. That being said, you will find anything from mild to wild here. While they do have some lower end, it's not much. Most of the selection will set you back a few but it is probably one of the better selections in the Denver area and the best of the Europtics chain. read more

My situation was my Paul Smith glasses had a plastic arm fall off and I needed a place to help me with the consideration for a warrantee repair through Oliver Peoples. Europtics provided me an authorized dealer to deal with my situation. The employee who helped me was Rebecca. If you are going to visit the store, ask for her. I did not come to the store to buy glasses. She helped me without hesitation for my cause; she called manufacture, opened a case, mailed my glasses, called me with a message when they arrived, remembered my situation when I returned 3 weeks later, and had them waiting for me without any waiting when I can to pick them up. The lenses did not fit which is an internal conflict between the manufacture and the retailer so I have to deduct a star. Otherwise, I am satisfied. read more

Bought a pair of frames with progressive lenses plus standard coatings. I had to have lenses remade within a couple months as i caused a scratch from a DIY project right in center of lenses. No problem europtics remade lenses for free. About 6 months later i noticed the lenses were cloudy not clear anymore. I finally pulled out an old pair of glasses and noticed my new lenses were full of micro scratches... No wonder they aren't clear. Not to worry,I thought I'd simply return to europtics to have the defect corrected as perhaps the coatings were not applied correctly. Well I was informed that all they would do to correct the defect was offer 30% off a remake of the lenses. What a joke. By no fault of mine, I have to pay to correct the crappy product sold to me. I have been a eye glass wearer for a long time...i always use spray and micro fiber cloths to clean them. Poor customer service. This company does not srand behind their product. I will not spend my hard earned money here again. Sad. I know other opticians will replace to keep me as a customer...Good Bye Europtics! read more

I'm not someone who usually buys glasses as a fashion accessory...It's kind of an uphill battle even getting me to admit I NEED glasses in the first place! But Europtics took great care of me, were very patient in showing me my choices and matching frames to my face shape, and in the end, left me a very satisfied customer with both a cool pair of prescription shades as well as normal everyday glasses... The help and persistence of the employees at Europtics surpassed my wildest hopes. In a time when Customer Service can be lacking, Europtics is top-notch in this area. The nose piece on my very favorite pair of glasses broke, and my frames were now discontinued. Hoping beyond hope, Europtics searched the globe, and found a nose piece in Austria, fixing my glasses, making me the happiest girl in town. I have been a faithful customer of Europtics for over 20 years, and will continue to purchase all my glasses here. My glasses always have been difficult because of my prescription, but Europtics have always made them look beautiful, and I feel that the frames are of a higher quality than I can get elsewhere. My family and I have been customers here over the years, so it wasn't a surprise that I would come here to look for a pair of eyeglasses. I have to say that my experience here was incredibly disappointing. I don't consider myself to be a very high-maintenance shopper. I prefer to go about my business and not be bothered, but would love to have assistance if needed. To say that Europtics applied a more hands-off approach to their customers is an understatement. I walked around to every corner of the store, trying on glasses and not once was I offered any assistance or even acknowledged. Forget about even trying on a pair from one of their glass cases. I finally decided on a pair and made my way to a register, ready to literally give them my money, but after waiting for fifteen minutes without so much as a "we'll be with you soon" I walked out. Europtics wasn't particularly busy and they did not appear to be short-staffed. A bit of a shame that this visit ruined any future purchase. Europtics does not seem to value their customers, but knows that people will buy their glasses regardless, so a loss here or there isn't a big deal. I would definitely recommend you take your money elsewhere if you're shopping for glasses. read more

Remember the adage "You get what you pay for"? There are some things you bargain shop for, but anything involving your vision should not be one of them!! I had damage to my eyes caused by LASIK surgery many years ago. After being diagnosed with post-LASIK corneal ectasia, I was told I would never be able to wear glasses. Rather, i was fitted to a pair of special (and expensive) contact lenses. I hated the hassle of contacts, so did some extensive research and ended up at Europtics to see if I could get fitted to "wave-front" glasses. After a comprehensive and unbelievable exam by Dr Shelly, my new prescription was given to Kelly to see if wearing glasses again was even possible. Well, that was 5 years and several pairs of glasses ago! Kelly is second-to-none and is absolutely the best optician in Colorado! She knows her stuff and spends the time to help find the perfect pair of glasses, get them made by the best lab, and ensure you have a perfect fit. I love the glasses I have got from Europtics, and the service they provide is top-tier. There is not a better place to get glasses. Go see Kelly! She is the best. read more

My husband and I went here on a Saturday morning. The store was very full and busy, but we didn't even receive so much as a "hello" or "sorry for the wait--someone will be with you shortly." When we did finally get someone to show us some frames, she seemed bored and inconvenienced by our presence. We left, and went to See Eyewear around the corner, where we had a much better experience and found frames we loved. Yes, Europtics may have a bigger selection, but if you're interested in working with people who seem to give a crap about having your business, go elsewhere. read more

Shottiest work I've ever seen. Brought in a pair of really nice frames to have Europtics put in prescription lenses. It's either the standard lens ($60/eye) or their pricier option which I didn't bother with. I also got the antiglare ($60/eye). So we're at $240 now, people. The lenses literally jut out from the frame 1/4 of an inch towards my face, not at all flush with the frame. And both sides are uneven. I said, this is terrible work and looks awful. They said IT WAS MY FRAMES. If I wanted to pay $160 MORE for the better (thinner) lenses they could do that for me now if I'd like. But yes, definitely the frames' fault. I called my eye lady back home in CA and she said that was a load of horsesh*t. Now, I have to have my gal in CA put in whole new frames. Shipping plus $299. Let's make it a nice round $300. So I will have paid more then $540 for this wonderful experience. If you need a little perspective, my rent is $680 per month. If I never really had an option on the lenses, I would have liked to know that before I forked over almost $300. There is nothing worse than a liar, except maybe a cheat. I even called my lawyer about this. Do yourself a favor and think before you walk in this place. read more

Poor service. The staff is stuffy and not very helpful. I ended up buying a pair of sunglasses that the employee didn't even show me. You will receive a better customer experience at a sunglass hut in any mall. They do NOT offer refunds which is absurd! Shame on them. This place is the bomb. I hate boring ordinary frames so I always like paying extra bucks to find something fun to wear. Afterall, those frames are going to be part of your daily outfit. After going to EYE, and being disappointed, I went to Europtics and was pleasantly surprised by their huge selection of frames. They have Oliver Peoples, Alain Mikli, LA Eyeworks... all the brands I love. I went from one glass case to another (because they have so many) trying on a gazillion frames and the guy who was helping me patiently followed me around. He stayed with me the whole time until I finally found some really dope frames from LA Eyeworks. I wasn't going to spend more than $300 so I told the guy... hm... I love these frames but I really wasn't going to spend more than $300.... then the guy dropped the price down to 300 even for me! And after that, he told me that if I put lenses in there, I can get tax credited back to me. Awesome deal! I decided to wait to put lenses in them but he wrote on my receipt so I can get that credit any time I decide to get them. Regardless, I've been wearing the frames with dummy lenses in them still. I love them so much! My boyfriend thinks I'm a weirdo. If you are into frames like I am, check this place out. Apparently they have another store in Broomfield. They're suppose to have a similar selection there too. I don't know if it's as big as this one though. This store isn't the coolest looking store, but don't be fooled. Love this place worth every penny! They have a beautiful selection of frames and their lenses are top notch. I'm really sensitive to weight and each time I have bought new frames they have taken extra care and time to make sure I'm happy. Rick spent at least an hour helping me choose the right frame and color of lens for my prescription sunglasses, and repeated the process for my new eyeglasses. Walked into the Park Meadows mall looking for Persol and was told they no longer carried Persol due to the lenses get broken when filling a prescription. I currently have perscription Persols and did not have a problem with mine. Tom, the manager told me he though Persols were not good and that is why he made the decision to no longer carry them. I was given no alternative suggestions and talked down to. I hope this review finds someone who can train Tom properly! read more

Europtics is the WORST customer service I have ever experienced in 35 years of wearing and caring for glasses. I have significant lense problems with a very expensive pair of sunglasses and their FIRST and ONLY reaction is to blame me for mistreating (letting them get too hot) and refuse to repair the lenses defects. The lense coating has split into mutliple thin cracks that obscure my vision. The service and management staff are not helpful, rude, and have consistently accused me of causing this problem. I would advise anyone who asks that their customer service is the worst I have experienced at a premium price for all types of glasses. read more

I have never purchased anything here. I don't get my eyes examined here. But on three occasions I have gone in and they have helped me out with no charge. This morning my new frames were fitting crooked af and Rick hooked me up with a major adjustment. No cost and friendly service within 5 minutes. They open at 9am which is a nice touch. read more
