The Volkwerks team is Top Notch. It starts with Jeremy and his attitude towards his customers. He takes his time explaining what needs to be done and if there is a more cost-effective solution - he will let you know. I bring my B5 A4 1.8T and it's always well taken care of, not to mention a savings of over 50% compared to what the dealership charges. They do not skimp on parts either, they use quality parts only, OEM or higher. Their specialty are working with VWs, but they are great with Audis as well. Great place. read more

Brought my Jetta in for a transmission fluid service the other day. My car was ready when they said it would be, they did a great job, and it was more than $100 cheaper than the dealer. Couple things: the waiting room was completely dark with window blinds shut when I arrived. Someone came in from the shop to greet me shortly after I got there. Also they don't hardly have any signage. Turn in where you see the "Deer Valley Commerce Park" sign. They're about 1/3 of the way down on the left. If I could give this place zero stars I would!! The shop owner (Jeremy) will charge you for services he never did--- and will demand cash so that you can't dispute the charge with your bank! When called out he says he will refund you "eventually". Plays the pity card saying his wife is sick--- might or might not be true, but using it as an excuse to scam people for hundreds of dollars? Caution !!!!! This shop has some serious issues. Owner did my repairs on two of my vehicles and asked for cash payment. No receipt, no clear idea of what was repaired and both vehicles ended up being worse than originally brought in. After giving the owner just over a 1000 to fix a coolant leak it was never fixed and now I'm left with a quote of 2500 to do the repairs. The owner won't reply to calls or texts. My boyfriend had his car towed on Tuesday to this shop. We haven't heard anything from them since. They say they open at 7 but don't answer the phone. They say they are open till 5 but don't answer the phone. We talked to Jeremy at 450pm Friday and he stated they were working on the car right now and were not going to be closing at 5 and would call us when it was done. We get there around 630 and the shop in front is closed. We go around back and the car is sitting outside but shop is closed. He goes to check on his car and finds the door unlocked and the keys in the ignition. That means the car had been left unlocked since Tuesday. I do not recommend this shop to anyone. read more

My go-to place for my vw Passat and Jetta. Full synthetic oil from Germany is cheap. They are family owned and friendly. The owner used to work at a vw dealership and knows it all. The shop is small and they can be extremely busy so may take a few dad for repair etc etc.. read more

I took my turbo Subaru in for repairs. The car sat at the shop for 4 months because I work out of town and had to rent a car for that long. I trusted Jeremy - who assured me every wk that he was working on the car and waiting for Subaru to send an engine. I got the car finally, Which cost 4000$. Car ran for a month and then I took it back to him. Another 4 months went by. I had my car towed from his place and to a Subaru dealer I learned there was no new engine. I should have sued the company but again, live out of town and just figured I learned my lesson. It was a huge rip off. read more

I have used this place twice. I am usually a DIY mechanic but these 2 things would have required more time than I had available since I do work full time. 1 was a crank position sensor and the other was a bad water pump. They are quick, attentive and their prices are fairly reasonable. I called around when I knew I needed a new water pump. One other "German auto mechanic shop" was almost double what ESS quoted and did the job for. I think I finally found my go to shop for my MK6 GLI. read more

I have 4 high mileage VW and Audi in my family and these guys take care of them all from tires and oil changes to extensive work and tuning! I found this shop here on yelp and all the other reviews are spot on! They fixed my car right the first time and went through the whole car and let me know what else it needed and how much each issue would cost to fix. Their prices seem very reasonable and their customer service in the two times I have been there is top notch. I will not take my cars to any other shop from now on. read more

They worked on my Audi A4 and I had to pay an additional $1000 for another repair shop to correctly fix steering rack. The steering rack almost came off the car after I got it back. The mechanic at the shop that fixed their mistake said these guys don't know much about Audi's. They also changed my timing belt and now Im wondering if that was done correctly. Dont be lured in by a cheaper price, it will cost you in the long run. read more

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! I paid over $2000 to have a used transmission installed in my VW Jetta only to have it fail 12 days later. I had the car towed back to Jeremy at ESS and 6 weeks later he called me to say it was ready to pick up. I get to the shop and there was a bill for $1000 sitting under my keys telling me I didn't pay for the "labor warranty". I had to take Jeremy to court and a Judge agreed and awarded me a Judgement against European Speed & Service. Jeremy will not pay on the Judgement, will not return phone calls or letters for over a year. Terrible company. Do not fall victim like I did. Be warned. read more

I have never written a review before, but felt compelled to after coming here several times. It started when I had to get a timing belt replaced, as I got quotes, I found this place was about 30% less for the exact same thing. As I had that replaced Jeremy (also the owner) said my CV boot would need to be replaced, but he never pressured me and let me know how long it can go without needing to be done. His shop is very clean, which gives you a good indication of the character of the owner, shows he is detail oriented and meticulous. I have finally found an awesome, honest and affordable mechanic! I have always wanted to find one and Jeremy is it. I highly recommend Jeremy and his crew. read more
