The pictures in this review are 4 days from when the service was received. We went to European Nails & Spa because our usual place was not available. It was a special occasion and wanted nice looking nails, it was for a memorial service for a close family member. They used a grinder on the nails, they just looked really bad. We were pretty much in shock at what was done to the nails. My beautiful strong nails were now thin and brittle. I went home in shock. We went back to ask for a refund, showing the results of the nails, as you can see in the pictures they really look bad. They agreed to a refund of $47, we told them we paid $80 They said they didn't believe us, So we pulled the charge up on the credit card app. Showed the amount of $80 to them. Explained tip was in there. They said they are not refunding tip. We were extremely calm and polite and kept trying to resolve this. We asked them to refund back to credit card, a very simple procedure. They claimed they did not know how, this was the response from 2 managers. Be very aware that if you go here, if there is an issue with your nails, it's not well received. The level of quality is very poor. Please look at other reviews. In order for us to get our refund, they wanted a copy of our drivers license and wanted us to hand write a statement out to them that they wanted to dictate to us. Before refund was given. This is a very obvious poor quality job. What I thought would have maybe taken 2 minutes was hitting the 15 minute mark. We asked for contact information of the owner. Nothing was provided. It's going to cost more than $80 to try and repair the damage that was done to the nails. We finally just gave up, they offered a refund then said no, then said partial. It was exhausting. We decided that we just did not want to continue the conversation, we told them we were leaving. We went to the car, sat there and talked for a while, we decided to wait a while and try one more time, hoping that they would do what's right, we were hoping they may calm down and we could get the refund, go and get the nails repaired and move on with life. We waited about 15 minutes, we went back in, asked one more time for a quick refund. They said yes, we will give you $80 cash. We said great, then another manager got involved, pulled out a notebook, asked me to write their statement and to give them our drivers license. We told them. we wanted to resolve this, easily. She started to hand me her notebook. I told her that I would really like to get the owner's information, she handed me a business card with no contact name, she just said call. One of the employees started videoing me with his phone. we decided to just leave. We will handle this as a civil matter. All we wanted was a refund for very poor service. As you will see by our reviews, we live to praise businesses. Rarely write negative reviews. Our plan was to get the refund, get the nails repaired as good as possible and move on with our lives. Never a thought of submitting a review. The only review we planned to leave was a five star for our regular place. I know this is a long review, I want to give you pause from thinking of patronizing this business, if something goes sideways, it will not be a pleasant experience. read more

Wonderful service. Really sweet owner and staff. Did exactly what I wanted. My nails are short and thin (growing out acrylics) and the manicurist, Peter, was able to do a lovely French nail that looks natural despite how short they are. I definitely recommend this business! read more

At 12:17pm, I called in and asked if they had any pedicures available in 20 minutes. I had already called three other salons at this point... The lady told me she might have something by about 1250... I was kind of in a rush because I had to get back to work... But I didn't want to keep calling other places so I told her that's fine. And I end up going to grab some food and headed there. I got there around 12:52... Then they told me to wait a little longer, by 12:55/12:57 or so, the guy told me to pick a color and wave me over to the chair. Somebody from the back got me started by running the water, polish remover, clipping my toes, basically prepping my feet, and then about 10-15 minutes later... Another lady took over. I got the deluxe pedicure with extra massage. It was wonderful and I like the way my toes turned out. It's pretty hard to mess up a simple pedicure with black nail polish. I have been going to this salon for years. Tran the owner has been doing my fills. Peter, a very nice fairly new worker did my pedicure which he has done before. Unfortunately he broke my anklet and the pieces spilled everywhere, luckily i was able to get it repaired. I talked to Mindy, Tran's wife about discounting the pedicure to cover the repair which she did reluctantly. She asked me for my phone number and they purposefully would not answer my calls for new appointments. I finally talked to Mindy today using a different number and she told me no one there can do my fills or pedicures anymore. They break my anklet and now they refuse to service me! This is extremely egregious behavior targeted at someone who was a loyal customer! Don't go here. read more

They were nice enough I guess. Drill bit was not fresh though, and had been used on other nails before mine, along with the files and the buffer. I was also cut pretty bad with the file and he seemed annoyed at me that he cut me. I don't normally leave reviews but I was too nervous to say anything when I was there because they seemed annoyed I didn't want the confrontation. Took me several weeks to decide to leave a review because I know that this is their business and livelihood but I feel that cleanliness is more important than customer service especially when it comes to someone's nails. read more

They did not paint my nails all the way to the edge. They then had to use a small brush to get the edges. I have never had anyone at any nail spa do that. I don't think he has the proper skills needed. Because he had to use that brush he got polish on my fingers and was upset when I asked him to remove it. He said it was my fault because I wanted the polish so close to my cuticles. He then proceeded to argue with me. I will never go back there. read more

You get what you pay for... I don't live near this nail salon, so we used Yelp and decided to try it out after lunch. Upon entering the salon, I was skeptical, but it seemed crowded, so we stayed. The polish selection is horrific. The massage chairs are the only good thing. The woman who did my pedicure (had glasses and was slightly older) was cutting me and I kept telling her "that hurts! You're hurting me!" I had to say it 3 times before she stopped and then informed me "I have to cut there." No, that's my skin!! It was throbbing last night and today- less than 24 hours later, I'm taking advil and continuously cleaning it and hoping it won't get too infected. DO NOT USE THIS SALON!!!! This nail salon was the last place I tried the day before Valentine's Day.. Of course I was happy to get in but there were some issues.. The spa pedicure was great.. The girl who did it was very nice however I only did the regular as I did not want to pay extra for an extra fifteen minutes of massage. The same girl who did my pedicure also did my manicure but without asking started to do gel nails. Which I DID NOT WANT! They ruin my nails and take forever to take off! She didn't even ask? Just assumed that bc I asked for French on both that my finger nails would be gel. Not okay! I started to ask if that was what she was doing and she didn't quite unfettered that I didn't want gel so she called another lady over to try to communicate with and that lady was just like no no not gel but keep the gel base layer. My Daughter goes here too and so do most of my church ladies/neighbors, They pay attention to detail and make sure you get what you want. It's a friendly atmosphere and I always have fun interacting with people. Absolutely the worst place I have ever been! Hopefully I don't get an infection. When I went back to talk to owner about the damage done to my feet they were very argumentative and defensive telling that it was my fault because my feet were dry. Like many, I've been to many nail salons in strip malls and this by far is my most favorite place. It may not look super deluxe and is pretty simply decorated but what makes this place really stand out is the friendly staff! Love Mindy, Jenny and Tran! These people are soooooo awesome, they know my name and my moms name and ask us how each other are doing every time were in. Very personable and nice place! DONT GO HERE! Yesterday I had an appointment, came in sat down everything was fine. Then half way getting my nails done, they ask me to get up and move, LEAVE ME THERE! And the nail tech starts doing some other girls nails. Like HELLO? Does she have VIP status or something or why the F**k did u stop doing my nails make me move and start doing the other girls nails? My first experience with this salon was interesting. 1. I got the best pedicure I'd had in awhile. But they rounded my nails even after asking them to stop. 2. There was a crying baby in one of the back rooms. A lady checked on it twice in the 2 hours we were there. 3. They were very stingy with the nail polish. Meaning they only applied about a coat and a half. So I figured I can just go there for the great pedicure treatment and know ahead of time my paint job isn't going to be on point. Choose you battles, right? Come my daughter's 18th birthday...2nd visit. My mom took her for a birthday mani-pedi. The man there did a bad job all around. My daughter kept referring to a picture she provided and he insisted it looked like the pic. Not at all. So he didn't fix it. She came home crying so I asked my mom to take her back in the morning so maybe one of the other nail techs can fix it. Nope. When my mom started to explain to the man that was glad to try to fix them a tech stood up from the back of the salon and yelled at them, pointing in their faces as she walked up...insisting that they liked it when they left. In all honesty...if I wasn't about community I'd report them to the board and still consider it. How humiliating. Can you imagine? I've NEVER given a place a bad review cause I always weigh it out. Some things we just can't prevent. Like our food not coming out fast enough from a restaurant or getting sick from sushi in the summer. This could have been prevented. I'm a strong believer in communication, compassion and kindness. It's crazy that this happened. I still wonder about the crying baby that they drowned out in loud music. Weird. Horrible pedicure!!! The guy, who already looked irritated asked if I wanted them cut short. I said yes the smaller toes, not the big one because it had already ripped and was too short already. He proceeded to cut the big one deep into my skin after I told him ouch that hurts and why are you cutting ? he said well you told me you wanted them short! I said no just the other ones he said you told me you wanted them short and try to cut it again. I got up and walked out horrible experience. Now I'm left with a throbbing bleeding toe. Ouch! I love spending girl time with my family every 2 weeks for manis and/or pedis. We each have a wonderful technician and they are all so nice! This past week my gel manicure chipped badly and I did not have much time to spend going back and having it redone. I am sure the issue was with the color as some hold better than others. I tried to take the gel polish off myself and just made a mess of things. I went in and my tech, Mindy, took care of it. She insisted on painting my nails after she repaired them and refused to charge me. She also argued my leaving a tip which I did anyway. I am very satisfied with the service and friendly manner that Tran, Mindy and their staff provide to my family and I. Highly recommended!!! read more

Would not go back. Had an 11 o'clock appointment On Mother's Day to get pedicures with my nine and 10-year-old daughters. We arrived a few minutes early, chose our nail color, and went to go sit down. Our chairs were ready however, when we put our feet in the water it was scalding hot. We took our feet out and sat and waited for someone to come over. We told them about the water so they drain the hot and added barely lukewarm water. We put our feet back in the water and there we sat for 30 minutes. By this point, the water is ice cold. Someone finally comes by and I remind them that we had an 11 o'clock appointment and it is now 1130. They said it would be just a few more minutes. Finally someone started on one of us around 1140. To make up for the lateness, they offered a free design. However, the children's pedicure already comes with a design. And I had no desire to have a design on my toes. So the pedicures finally get started, and the guy continuously makes comments to my daughters about how pretty their nails look and how all the guys are going to like them. They are nine and 10 years old! My nails turned out acceptable, my one daughter's nails had a lot of missing spots. My other daughter got a design and it looked like a kindergartner had drawn it.
