However, when he left, an arrogant manager named Nate took over. He made disrespectful comments about the bikes they've worked on for me and even made a mistake on my Harley, which they had fully rebuilt. I usually avoid the shop, but I was told to give them a call about my new bike. They didn't even have time to talk to me; they just sent me an email saying he didn't have time to explain the systems to me, which is part of the job. Nate is the kind of person who thinks he knows everything. If I didn't respect the owner of the business, I would have all the emails and texts of this guy bashing me as a client.

They always let us know after our appointments when there may be things like new tires or brakes that we have to consider in the coming months, so we always know what to expect. Not only that, but when my husband's clutch went out last year, the first thing we did was call Doug's and, even though that isn't within their remit, they gave us a great recommendation for who we could have our car towed to for the repair. We moved from Kirkland to Seattle in 2020, but continue to drive over the bridge and drop our cars off for each service appointment because we like them and their service that much!

Front desk guy said he is just following company policy... okay that's fine. I called the manager lady, she said too bad... she handed the phone to the owner who was sitting next to her, dude just went off at me. Told me I can take him to court if I want to. What a stupid thing to say when all I'm asking is to be reasonable and not charge me for 12 hours of storage. To top it off... the reason they didn't open the door right away was because their employee Mark was playing Xbox inside.
