I found O'Ryan Marine in May 2022, when I needed my Sea Doo jet ski repaired and all other shops had a two month waitlist. O'Ryan Marine fit me in right away, figured out the problem, ordered parts, completed a tune up and I was on the lake 3 days later! This year, I scheduled early and once again they went above and beyond. They offered to fix my trailer (including lights and alignment), completed a full inspection, tune-up and oil change, and they were much more competitively priced than Ride Motorsports (where I previously scheduled service). If you are looking for a company that takes pride in their work and goes the extra mile, look no further. O'Ryan Marine provides a level of attention to detail and customer service that beats all other options. Highly recommend!

Original owner telling us how he sold the boat to O'Ryan marine TOTALED after his insurance company wouldn't pay out.

PAID 28K FOR A BOAT WE LATER DISCOVERED WAS TOTALED JUST A MONTH BEFORE. LIED TO, THREATENED, ABSOLUTELY SCAMMED. DO BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. We should have read the other 1 star reviews. I can't believe I'm writing this, but earlier this year we set out to purchase a nice boat and found an ad (listed below). The boat seemed clean and ran, so we purchased it from O'Ryan Marine. Ryan had assured us that it was always well maintained, had no major maintenance issues in the past, and that he was selling it on behalf of his neighbor. We purchased the boat, put it in the water, and came back a few hours later to find out it was filling with water. Out of curiosity, we looked up the 'neighbor' who was on the title and I work with him. I messaged him and asked if he knew the boat had a leak and if there was anything else we needed to be on the lookout for. Our conversation is shown below and we were shocked. O'Ryan bought the boat in a totaled state, restored it, and passed it off to us with no disclosure of any sort of damage. We were completely lied to and asked for our money back. Ryan then threatened us, called us scammers and every name in the book, and said to basically go f**k ourselves because we were dumb enough to buy it and "there's no return policy". Now we've spent the better part of a month dragging it back and forth to a different repair shop (invoice below) to have the leak patched and more recently, a starter motor blown, all in the span of a month. The shop we took to have it repaired told us the wiring is pretty corroded because, surprise, the boat was flooded just a month before. We can only hope no more issues arise as we would have never purchased a totaled boat had we known. I'd expect this from some sort of sham salesman on Craigslist but not a dealership/repair shop -- and the owner at that. We trusted him and got burned. This man should not be allowed to do business.

Detail result from O'Ryan Marine 2023

I just got my 1988 Century Cardel back from O'Ryan Marine (before Memorial Day weekend) and everything is perfect. The boat was delivered on time and on budget, looks beautiful after a complete gelcoat detail, bringing the finish back from cloudy with polishing swirls to a mirror finish and season prep mechanicals completed as required. I'm particularly lucky because Ryan has experience with my specific type of boat, he understands it's weaknesses and quirks as an owner himself. I'll be back.

Ryan did a bottom clean and wax on my ski boat. He got me in the schedule quickly and it looked great when done!

I went there on referral only to hear that they are not willing to help me with removing and replacing my outdrive on an older boat.

Great service and pricing! I'll be taking my 2007 Bayliner 175 to O'Ryan for all my servicing.

NWWSports Boat Services are remarkable. Cost effective, completely reliable "Valet" services to and from my front door, both waterfront and or dry land locations. I tend to be very "picky" and never had a single need or concern go unanswered. Nice. Completely seamless. One call and I'm set. All I'm left with is the pure enjoyment of the water with my family and friends. The way it is supposed to be. Try this business. You won't be disappointed.

Next, they would not get back to regarding a signature from the previous owner for the remaining factory warranty which was a major selling point for me. Then, I received a backdated bill from insurance for $900 because they didn't follow protocol. And finally, and this is the kicker, they've mistakenly listed me as SOLE OWNER on the title which I have in my hand despite the bank financing 90k. The ineptness with this dealership is beyond me and leaves me shaking my head with all of these still unresolved issues. Spend your $90k at the actual Mastercraft dealer, this place is the worst. 100% regrets.

I was very pleased to find Lakeside Boat would visit my marina and work on my motor. The scheduling was hard to get done though - I was ready to find another mechanic before we started. Once the work was on the schedule, I felt good - going to get some maintenance (tune up/oil change) and have my manifolds replaced as they were getting on 5 years (routine to change them on that interval). Josh sent me a bill for parts estimated - and I know that that will vary to some degree once the work starts. Paid it right away because I wanted to get the boat in tip top again. During the day of the service, I got a call - a part was not anticipated, and it would add $900 to the bill. Ok. At that point, I'm kind of committed so I said OK. I didn't realize I was going to pay shop labor rate for Josh to drive to Kent to pick up those parts and then drive them to Edmonds. That added $1000 to the bill for delivery and then Josh waiting around. At the end of the day, I got the call that the boat was done - and because it would not start (it had been running for me reliably until then) another part was needed. Again, at that point I'm committed. Got the final bill via the online portal - and paid it right away even though I was at that point in total sticker shock. The total price came in over $5,000. I had questions. I finally got Josh on the phone - he's disappointed, I'm disappointed - because I've had mobile work done on my boat for years and years - and never had this feeling that I got fleeced. After the phone call... I still feel like I got fleeced. I inspected the work - it looks solid. They have a good mechanic. I question the business ethic however. Still waiting for an itemized bill.

I held off on writing this review as I was waiting to see how management was going to handle damage…read morethat was done to my boat while in their care over the winter. Unfortunately, they didn't think they were responsible for the damage so with that, I couldn't discourage using Lakeside enough. I dropped my boat off for winter storage and picked my boat up approximately 6 months later in the spring. When I picked up, I wasn't able to hook up the trailer because of damage to the trailer tongue coupler. After giving the boat a thorough check, it was noted that a hole was punched through on the forward end of the outboard engine cowling and there was damage to the back end of the boat. After lifting up the seats to access the underseat storage (pontoon boat with bench seating), every compartment was soaked and had standing water. The operations manager claimed it was because I dropped it off in November. Even though I paid over $3K for indoor winter storage, they blamed it on me for the time of year I dropped off the boat. I eventually found out that the boat was transported in the winter months with no cover on from Kent to Lake Stevens and then later from Lake Stevens to Fisherman's terminal area (about 90 miles in total) to their new shop. When pressed about who did the transportation, I was told, "by friends paying them in pizza and beer". Upon getting the boat in the water, I discovered that the starboard speakers on the boat were not working. Once again, none of these issues existed prior to or on the day of dropping off the boat to them. Lakeside was unwilling to take any responsibility for these issues so hopefully trying to save anyone else a headache by using them for future boat storage.
