3.5, rounded up 'cause many of the ladies working there did ask if I needed help!…read more Contrary to the name of the place, this is more of a European grocery store rather than a bakery. It was like a smaller, family-owned version of a Starsky's. There are waaay more groceries like bottled sauces, canned goods, deli counter, than breads. A good portion of the breads don't seem to be baked there. Got a coupla paczki and they were ok, $1.75ea, not super fresh tasting, but not stale or anything. Double Smoked Kielbasa was good. Other than breaded cutlets, I didn't see prepared foods, but then again I wasn't really looking! If you're from a bigger city with access to such European grocery stores, St Joseph "Bakery" won't be a standout.

An assorted sub is $5.75. I ordered some wood smoked kielbasa, kabanosy, and hot pepperettes. All were very reasonably priced and tasted fantastic. They have lots of polish goods and other european items. It's a pretty big place. They have a freezer area with frozen meat on a stick, cabbage rolls, and perogies. Towards the far right of the store are loaves of breads and rolls in bags. I'm not sure why, but none of these items have prices on them. We did buy a few loaves of italian and french bread, they were $2.20 a piece. Again, very reasonable. Everyone in here was super friendly and they speak polish too. I will be back for more deli meats and to try a sub!

I also love the specialty goods they carry in the store -- they make it easy to pair a sandwich run with a thoughtful gift (a gift card is always a win!). Stopped in on a Tuesday around 5 and ordered three sandwiches for my friends and me. I'm proud to say I'm just three sandwiches away from trying everything on the menu! My favorites so far are the muffaletta, the Young Turk, and the All-American. Highly recommend for a quick, delicious meal.

Great customer service and they will customize every sub or pizza the way you want. They use top line Boar's Head meats and freshly delivered sub rolls, homemade spreads and dressings. Homemade soups and chili are always so good. Can be pricey but you get what you pay for. Parking is ample and they have a few tables inside for seating with simple ambience and decor. There is a cooler with self-serve drinks and desserts. Meatball sub is so good (homemade meatballs of course), and the homemade olive spread on the muffaletta hits the spot, New Orleans style! Pizzas are fresh and tasty also with fresh made dough and ingredients. Call ahead so everything is ready when you get there!

The market portion is sizable and has a lot of lesser known brands as well as western New York staples. In addition, they have a butcher counter and a deli counter. Food We walked over to the deli counter and ordered a few sandwiches. I went with the classic Italian on wheat, which was loaded meat and delicious. My wife ordered a turkey wrap and claimed it was one of the best she ever had. We picked up some homemade cookies and a few bags of chips at the counter to complete the meal. The sandwiches were only $9.00 for 6" which seemed reasonable. 5/5 Service All ordering was made at the counter, but staff were friendly and made it an easy experience. The staff at the checkout register were kind and offered additional suggestions that we might like as well. 5/5 Ambiance Tuscany was remarkably organized and very clean. The business was pretty busy that day, but they did a good job keeping everyone moving. 5/5 Tuscany Market & Deli was a hidden gem of the visit. They clearly had regulars that were in and out, which is the sign of a good business. I would recommend checking it out if you haven't already had the pleasure.

I don't usually venture this far West on McLeod Road, but I happened to be driving by one day, and…read morethe words "European Deli" caught my eye. Europe is, of course, a big place, but past experience has taught me that I'm much more likely to find the goodies I came to know and love in Croatia and Bosnia in a place with "European Deli" in the the name than in your basic average grocery store. At the time, I was in a hurry, but now that I knew that the place was there, I promised myself that I'd go back and investigate when I had more time. A later inspection of the outside of the store revealed a couple of photos of products that I know and love: Podravka Vegeta and Kraš Napolitanska. Better yet, there are the magic words "chevaps" and "burek" right on the front of the store. The inside did not disappoint. Quite the contrary, it was better than I even dared hope. Many of my favourite brands and products are on the shelves: ajvar, pašteta, višnija (sour cherry) syrup, chevaps (or, as I know them, ćevapi) in the freezer. (Plus a bunch of cookies and chocolate that I shouldn't even be looking at these days. I love them, but my doctor is on my case to get my blood sugar down.) To my surprise and delight, they even have mlinci, which is a rare find. Most recently, I took my sweetie there. They are still open, although they're limited to only having five customers in the store at a time. But what really made that trip worthwhile was the glass case with a familiar-looking baked item inside. The clerk saw me eyeing it, and said, "It's a cheese pie. We call it burek." I was so thrilled, I had to order two portions right away. Once my sweetie tried it, she couldn't stop saying, "This is so good!" (Okay, granted, some stores do sell "Twisters", which are quite similar, but this was the style that I was first introduced to, and still my favourite.) I am so happy to have found this place. Now I have a reliable source of some of my favourite goodies.
