Bacon, Egg, and Cheese on everything bagel.
George B.

On the first day that me and my girlfriend arrived to Toronto she wanted to head over to Niagara Falls and as we made our way down there, we had to get breakfast as we had arrived from a redeye flight with that being said she wanted a bagel on the way down to Niagara Falls like I said so we stopped and stumbled upon JC's hot bagels. When I tell you, this is one of the best bagels I've had in my life. I am not joking. I used to live in New York, so I know what a good bagel is and what a good bacon egg and cheese is supposed to taste like this right here was up to par and met every single one of my expectations. The place itself is very nice and classic looking the people working there are very nice and get the order out immediately as you order it and they're making it fresh for you. All in all great experience and I will be back. Setting - 10 / 10 Food - 10 / 10 Service - 10 / 10 Total -

Great experience as usual with the bagels However I did point out that their App was malfunctioning this morning and I wasn't able to place my order through it Plus... the BLT Breakfast Special on Tuesday came with a medium coffee if ordered online but I was charged for it when I placed my order in store

I read about this place on Blogto and I was fascinated about it. I wasn't sure why people rave about a Bagel place and people mentioned long lineups sometimes. This got my curiosity. We went there for lunch not knowing what this place is about. The young lady asked me what I would like, I ordered Smoked Salmon. She asked me if I wanted cream cheese, I said is it free. She replied politely there is an extra cost, I said ok. I asked her for her advice on which cream cheese goes well with it. She suggested dill pickle cream cheese, I got all the veggies with it. When I picked it up, it weighed at least 3 lbs. We opened the box and it looked amazing. We took one bite and we were in heaven. It was a perfect balance with the dill pickle cream cheese and the smoked salmon along with the veggies. The bagel was so fresh and soft. I could have eaten 2 more. Normally I don't like dill pickle but now I am a fan. This is my favorite Bagel place. I was about to leave and I saw one of the owners. I told her the food is delicious. She asked me if it was my first time there. I said yes. I told her I came from Toronto to try her food because of what I read. She said since it was my first time there, she had to give me some bagels to take home. I have never received such amazing customer service from an owner. I was in shock, I had a big smile all day. I can see why people keep coming back to them. Thank you to all the staff and owners. You have made a great impression on me, that's for sure.

I was pleased to have breakfast here during my trip to Ontario. The staff was helpful "translating" my American breakfast desires (tobassco sauce, lots of ketchup, American cheese, etc.) to the Canadian equivalent for cheese, but they had all the rest of my desires, including everything bagels. I had the breakfast special $10.00 CAD) - bagel of choice, egg, bacon (they give a ton of bacon) and a large coffee or tea as you choose. The food was good and very filling. The shop is very busy and even the Regional Police come here. Seating is comfortable. I recommend this place.

I don't know why it's taken me so long to try this spot but I'm glad I finally did. I had my dog with me, so my friend actually went in to order for me so unfortunately I'm lacking that experience an opinion until I visit again (which I'm hoping is soon!). I ordered a breakfast bagel with egg bacon cheese and cream cheese on an everything bagel. I never used to think there was a difference between montreal bagels or...non...montreal bagels but JC's certainly set themselves aside from the MTL. To be honest, I don't think you can compare them so I refuse to choose which one is better. These were massive, and well packed in a plastic container instead of a paper bag - I appreciated this because it would have gone everywhere otherwise. I would 100% come back here to buy bagels to have at home or to try another wonderful sandwich.

The best bagels. Whenever we visit Toronto we come straight here and I take a dozen home. They are delicious and soooo fresh! Toppings & lunchmeat is quality too.

The meat forms 10℅ of the overall mass of your wrap or sandwich. I guess they should rename it and call it lean corn beef sandwich.

Pathetic Food! I tried the corned beef wrap and it had everything except corned beef. They would put just 3 or 4 thin slices of corned beef and "beef" (pun intended) the wrap up with tomatoes, onion and other stuff. Come on folks! I wanted to eat good meat and not some raw veggies. I am really disappointed by this place, guess this is in my 'never visit again' list now and I hope you can take a cue as well.

Never again...

There is a reason you ONLY have cinnamon and raisin left, it's an awful bagel. Closes at 3 and you only have cinnamon raisin at 150 pm, lazy and poor mgmt. Drove 25 minutes for that.

One of the best sandwiches ever! Grabbed a club sandwich on a jalapeño bagel. Do yourself a favour and stop here!

Good bagels, poor staff. Went in there and one of the staff came off really rude with attitude, definitely not coming back.

Who sends out a dented can to a new client (or to any client, for that matter)? It seemed shoddy and not the best way to prompt return business. The delivery date kept changing, as well, but I suppose that's on UPS. (The physical shop in Burlington looks amazing. I would totally and gleefully blow my food budget there.)

Zesty Pita was rather kind of busy today so we ate along the bench that faces out the front window of the restaurant. Right in front of us is the Wandering Scott that I never realized was there. So after eating lunch I wandered in with the hopes that they'd have Walkers chips for sale and there was much to my surprise an entire wall dedicated to Walkers chips. The sad part was that they didn't have my favorite flavor (bacon) but they did have a few that I've not had before like Prawn Cocktail and Worcester sauce. They even had larger 6 packs of Cheese and Onion as well as a variety pack that includes Cheese and Onion, Salt and Vinegar and Ready Salted. Besides the chips a whole array of other snacks and imported foods can be had here such as a mix of Cadbury and even canned foods. There's a pastry display that has cookies, pastries, pies and even cheeses. I'm never been to England but this store makes me want to go, seriously... What equates to about 16 bags of chips cost me about 17 dollars after tax. The larger 6 pack bags work out to be 5.50 plus tax. I ended up also getting a tin of tiny Rolos but mostly I bought it for the tin. This store is simply "lovely" :)

The decor here is absolutely gorgeous it's got everything cute little bakery should have. It's got a little bit of bling and gorgeous shabby chic furniture. So it's basically a grab and go kind of bakery they don't have plenty of seating apart from some hightop bar stools facing the window looking outside. So I ordered a coffee which was very fresh didn't seem like it was sitting in the percolator for hours. I also had a salted caramel chocolate tart. It was hard on the outside and gooey and chocolatey in the inside I would give it a 10 out of 10. My daughter got a cake pop which was very standard but tasted great. we were lucky to get the high top facing the window.I thoroughly enjoyed sitting there watching the car show that evening and enjoying my coffee here. Is plenty of street parking around them. The service is very friendly and the place is clean and nicely run. I recommend this place to anyone who is visiting downtown Burlington.
