Joe is amazing to work with. He repaired one of my windows and just reinstalled and installed new windows in our daughter's home. He took his time explaining everything. His team comes in with shoe covering, tapes down paper everywhere. Vacuums, cleans and removes any debirs. We needed new carpentry around the interior windows and their carpentry was superb. They washed all the windows, installed screens, new casements, matched what was already there. I highly recommend this family business if you want very personal attention to detail and someone very easy to work with.

The manufacturing process may take a little longer than the large companies, but that is because they make the windows themselves in their shop. This has the added benefit of making them experts at window construction, so they can walk you through and recommend options. They also don't upsell - for example, they recommended thicker glass on the bedroom windows, but thinner glass on the larger living room windows to save. Lastly, they are very familiar with landmarks and can handle that process well. We have now used them for two brownstones and would recommend wholeheartedly

At first the price was nominal, but as the years progressed they grew to above market rate. The service was sometimes ok, but sometimes not so good. He continually changed workers and the quality showed for at times they would break the glass they were replacing!! One particular time he brought with him this young kid (who looked like he just got out of rehab) who CRACKED a window frame in 2 places while replacing a coil. No apologies, no discount on the charges, no removal of the charge. Mike simply came back with some Gorilla glue! I should of learned my lesson then. Last Spring he came to replace a glass and, again, broke the replacement glass. Keep in mind I have to fight with another window company to get the glass. He kept me with this broken glass for almost a year. He gave me a bill which I questioned for I thought he charged me to replace the glass he broke. So when I asked for a lower bill that's when Mike went off on me. I received multiple calls and texts stating how dare I ask for a lower bill. So, ok, I sent him a check for the $150. Not even a week went by when he harassed me over 2 days for the money. I had already sent the check. I shared with him that his behavior was out of line and disrespectful, he again went off on me on how I was wrong and he was right. I asked for a simple apology and he responded: "lol". So my warning is Mike has no respect for "the customer is always right". If you piss him off he will come at you guns blazing.

I called Worldwide and was told someone would call me back within the hour. About 10 minutes later, I received a call from Billy. He agreed to come over that same day to take measurements and order the windows. He said it would take 2-3 days to get the glass, but he would try to expedite it. The next day, the office called to schedule the installation! Billy gave me a one-hour time frame to return to install the windows. He and his helper arrived exactly when scheduled, completed the work, cleaned up and were gone in less than an hour. I've worked with a lot of service companies and these guys are the best! On-time, friendly and about average on price. Highly recommend.

Replaced all windows in my NYC condo. Technician had to return 4 times within the first month to…read moreclean/remove black rubber caulk smeared on all new windows, replace large window which cracked end-to-end within 2 weeks of installation, replace defective window screens, repair new terrace door which was not opening/closing correctly due to faulty installation. All of these issues were resolved since final payment had not been made. Within 9 months of installation, one of the large windows started showing condensation between the panes. Despite numorous emails to Adi Kurti, the window has NOT been replaced. For the last 6 months Adi has assured me that he has placed an order for a new window replacement from Crystal Windows, but stopped responding since September. I had hoped to resolve this amicably, but had to open a complaint with the Better Business Bureau due to his lack of response and not fulfilling the warranty as per the contract. He did seem sincere in his attempts to provide customer satisfaction, but that seemed to dissipate after the last payment was made. I hope to be able to update this review with good news that he replaced the window, since I believe in supporting small businesses, especially during a recession. In the meantime, I am NOT a happy customer and cannot recommend this business. Two stars because he is a nice man, suspect he's spread too thin and is under-staffed.
