My breakfast room window, which is next to the fire escape, has been broken since the day I moved into the apartment. The super tried to fix it over the 6 years that I've lived here; however, it remained broken and dangerous. Fortunately, Altin and Egli, who are employed by A&J, came today and fixed my window. They even went throughout the apartment, checking all of the other windows to make sure there were no other issues. Altin and Egli were kind, respectful, professional and efficient. Beautiful job. Prior to these windows being installed we had tremendous drafts and noise. These windows were sealed up so well and sized perfectly that neither is an issue anymore. We have been enjoying the winters so much more as we're not freezing all the time. Can't say enough good things about how happy we are with them. But that was more than 5 years ago and things seem to have gone very wrong since then. I had someone out to give an estimate for the replacement of two windows and a door. Not complicated. I didn't hear from them for 6 weeks. I then called and was told they were backed up and they would get it to me the next day. They didn't. I called again and got it a week later. The estimate was completely wrong. For one thing, it was for French doors instead of a single door. I don't understand how they could get that so wrong when an appraiser came out in person. I wrote back to tell them what was incorrect and to politely express disappointment. I received no reply at all. I'm done with them.

The quality of this product is phenomenal and the Installation was quick, professional and very clean! I have worked with Mike in the past and this is a third job they did for us! We had torrential rains couple of days after the install with immense flush floods all around the city but our house stayed dry. No leaks anywhere. I highly recommend this installer and the brand OKNA to all of my friends and neighbours! Prior to making a decision to go with this brand as opposed to Anderson or Pella windows I did quite a bit of research comparing and analysing and OKNA consistently came out as having the highest quality to price ratio!
