I'm adding this restaurant to my list of places I love to eat. The salad was perfectly light and fresh. The combination plate came with a pile of meats on the fluffiest bread. There were actually two pieces of bread but I placed the other on a plate to show just how much food there was. I loved the sausages so much because they were juicy and delicious. The space inside was small but did not feel cramped. The service was fine. The young lady was sweet.

Had dinner at Euro Grill in Sunnyvale. Parking in the back. I ordered the small cevapi with ajvar and kajmak, the goulash with rice and mashed potatoes, and finished with mixed berry crepes topped with walnut shavings The cevapi were juicy and well seasoned, and the ajvar and kajmak added a rich and authentic flavor that really brought the dish together. The goulash was hearty and comforting, with tender meat and a deep, slow cooked taste. Having both rice and mashed potatoes made it extra filling and perfect for soaking up the sauce The mixed berry crepes were a great way to end the meal. Light and not overly sweet, with fresh berry flavor and a nice crunch from the walnuts on top The atmosphere was casual and welcoming, and the food felt genuinely homemade. A great spot if you're looking for Balkan style comfort food done right.

The food is really good. You basically get no service but honestly, some people prefer it that way it's a really homey environment. It feels like a family member is cooking for you.

I never knew that this place has a restaurant and I've always driven by it. There's a little serbian spot in Santa Clara. It's very old school ma and pa place. I got a combo plate and a sausage sandwich. The bread here is pretty darn good, they're airy and soft. The portion is also rather large. Come here for your cravings of sausages and bread.

First time trying this place and this type of food and really enjoyed the food! The restaurant is located in a plaza with dedicated plaza parking and it was very easy to access. The restaurant space itself isn't very big (less than 10 tables or so), and luckily we got the last open table when we arrived around noon on a Sunday. The place is very cozy and feel very mom and pop, and they were a bit slower on the service side (not sure if they were short on staff the day I went), but the staff was really nice and even apologized and thanked us for being patient. I wasn't sure what to expect but the food here was really good and I enjoyed it a lot more than I expected. Our group ordered the chicken skewers, combination plate, and burek. All the dishes had good portion sizes and we were all full after. I would definitely come back again!

I have to rate this place 5/5. I've seen this place in yelp many a time and I really should have visited much earlier. Everything was incredibly good. Chicken skewers - clearly the highlight. Such a good post workout meal for me. So much chicken, so tender, well grilled, can't complain. Large salad portion, a buttery slightly crispy bread along with sour cream and a spicy sauce. This is a perfect meal in my mind. Garlic bread - I shared the garlic bread with a friend and it was delicious too, pretty large portion for the price. Burek - my friend had the beef filled burek and was a fan. I didn't taste this though. Turkish coffee - had plenty of versions of this before and this was right up there. If you like Turkish coffee in general, go for this We were seated pretty quickly on a Sunday afternoon unlike what other reviews say. Food did not take too long to come out, the appetizers came fairly immediately and even the chicken skewers came promptly after a bit more time. Plenty of parking available right outside. Hosts were very welcoming. Not the largest space but large enough with a decent ambiance.

Small, family owned spot with great service and even better food. The menu is small but everything they do is delicious. We got the combo plate, it comes with chicken skewers, lamb sausage, and a beef patty. All the food was freshly made and so tasty. The sauces were a perfect addition and their bread was fantastic. We also got a side salad to round it out. The prices were reasonable too which is crazy during this time. I highly recommend this spot!!

This is my first time eating balkan food! Euro Grill was recommended by a friend who warned me that it's a very popular place with limited seating and long waits. Apparently their beef goulash and meat bureks sells out early. I went around 2pm on a Sunday and there was no wait. I didn't have high expectations since it was just a sandwich but this was so good. I got the combination plate and personally I liked the cevapi more than the spicy sausages even though I love spicy things normally. The cevapi sausages were so bouncy and flavorful. I also loved the roasted red pepper sauce-- it tasted like marinara with a hint of red pepper. The chicken skewer one of the best I've ever had, it was very juicy and soft and surprisingly not dry at all! The cheese burek was alright, very soft but I would prefer other less carbs appetizer. The interior was indeed small but felt very cozy and the service was great!

Great little hole in the wall establishment! Food was excellent and I've never had this type of food before. Service was attentive and on spot. The lepina bread was fantastic. Definitely going back!

I'm the laziest person when it comes to Yelp reviews but I am so impressed with the food, service, quantity, quality that I decided to break my streak. The sausages, the red pepper paste accompanying it, the bread - everything was fresh and delightful. Cheesy garlic bread was delish and a lot for the price. Turkish coffee, my fellow diner said was the best they have ever had. Service was fast and warm and finally the bill was so little for how much we ate. Can't wait to go back.

I've never tried Bosnian food before and I hadn't known that there was a location near me! It has a small interior so seats may fill up quick depending on the day, but you can call ahead and reserve a table. I ordered the meat burek which had ground meat and a flakey dough that was perfect to share and have as an appetizer. There have half a size of their main dish with sausages and a full size which is honestly so filling. The side of sour cream and red sauce (which isn't spicy) and onions does pair very well with it. I tried the half spicy half regular sausage sandwich and another time. I ordered the 10 sausage sandwich and I think they're both so well-made and you can't go wrong with them. I also find the meats to be very flavorful and the bread is to die for I would honestly just have it on its own if I could.

A charmingly quaint hole in the wall gem. Decorated simply with a handful of tables. It feels like you're in someone's home. Owners/employees seem exceptionally passionate about the food and their heritage and you can taste it in the food, especially the bread (which is made fresh every morning!) It's an experience even if you're not trying to have one. Packed on a Saturday at lunchtime so service was a bit slow. But again, it's an experience.

    All our meat is halal.

Are the cevapi made from beef or pork?

In Balkans (former Yugoslavia), it depends on the country and region. Mostly in Serbia and Croatia they would use pork in the mix, but here at EuroGrill it's 100% beef/veal.

It definitely could have used the coleslaw and pickles promised by the menu but they weren't in evidence. That was the problem with the falafel wrap, too: the menu promised hummus, cabbage & tomatoes salad, and pickled turnips, but those ingredients weren't anywhere to be seen. There was some lettuce instead, but lettuce is a poor substitute as it just becomes immediately soggy and adds no flavor. If you've ever had falafel in Israel, you will be disappointed by the falafel here, unfortunately. (Israeli falafel shops each make at least a dozen toppings from family recipes, so you put as many veggies and sauces in as you can to create a flavor party in your mouth.)

Hella yummy Palestinian food in the Bay!…read more I've heard of Holyland but finally had the chance to dine there for a weekend lunch. These days it's always at the front of my mind that food spots that call themselves "Middle Eastern" or "Mediterranean" truly divulge who is the owner and chefs are. I'm talking about only eating from restaurants that can name the country their food comes from be it Falasteen, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, the list goes on. Holyland is located in the industrial part of Santa Clara, and they boast lots of interior seating (great for large parties and group meals) and also run a catering service. So there's loads of parking and plenty of space. My friend and I were hungry, so I got the lamb kofta and he had the beef plates. We were SO happy. It comes with a light tangy salad, delicious hummus with a kick of spice, a bed of delicious yellow rice and slender pita bread. They also have serve-yourself hot cardamom tea which is so delicious and perfect. They also serve a bunch of other refrigerated drinks like Salaam Cola and kefir. The mezze plate with x4 different dips looks so yummy, I would get that next time with a large group to share. Will definitely head back with a larger group. We saw other diners from couples, to solo to large families eating. The interior could use some sprucing up, but the quality of the food, staff, and authenticity of the place is #1. Delicious. I haven't had Xinjiang/Uyghur cuisine before eating here, but it's delicious! While the noodles are often in oil-based flavorings, they are never too heavy as the herbs and spices balance the light oil. Everything has lots of flavor, though if you can't eat lots of oil, some dishes may not be for you. The hand-pulled noodles are very long, so if you are sharing a dish, you may be pulling them out for a while or end up grabbing the same noodle as someone else.
