She also offers text and email which made it just a bit easier for me to schedule her visit as I didn't have to listen to my voice cracking on the telephone. In my 45 years of having dogs in my life, Dr. Hewitt is by far the best vet I have had the pleasure of working with. Dog allergies are frustrating and difficult to manage, as are any chronic ongoing condition. Yes, ongoing care of a chronic condition is costly both financially and emotionally, and Dr. Hewitt and her staff understand the challenges. I never feel judged if my dog is not improving, Dr. Hewitt has thought me to understand the ups and downs of managing long term chronic conditions. I called Pawsitive Wellness and Crystal answered and I asked if I brought her in if we could scan for a chip. She happily said yes. I drove over, everyone greeted me with happy smiles and helpfulness and found she wasn't chipped. Crystal offered to house her until her owner was found or the rescue found a foster. Later that day Pawsitive Wellness found her owner and she was safely returned. Crystal and Pawsitive Wellness didn't have to do anything and it was incredibly helpful and kind and they made me feel so happy to be at Pawsitive Wellness with our dogs. Big thanks to Crystal and Wendy for being so kind and helpful. Also PW made an office building of people feel proud for saving a dog from a busy street and reuniting with the owner. So a happy ending story.

I have been looking for a reliable pet sitter for my dog when I go out of town for work (which is somewhat regularly). I have tried on three different occasions reaching out to them and I've never gotten ahold of anyone when calling or have I ever received a call back when I've contact them through the website or left a voice message. Seems pretty basic to call a potential customer back (and I would have been a repeat customer) if you are a business, but hey what do I know? Based on this, I will not be reaching out to them again as I can already tell they are unprofessional.

I came in here last week to pick up a friend's dogs…read more Let me start by saying this said friend absolutely raves about this place. He literally lives within 400 yards of PetSmart, and brings his dogs in here instead for grooming. After a couple bad experiences at PetSmart with grooming, he found this place instead, and it's worth the drive. As I said, I went to pick up the dogs. I was immediately greeted by the staff when I walked up. They keep the doors locked, and a staff member comes out. Which keeps the dogs from being extra stressed and/or potentially escaping. So I like that. She brought me the dogs and I paid her. I didn't know if/how much the friend usually tipped, so I said I'm skipping that part. Which was fine. He took a cash tip in later. This was also a last minute appointment where they had a cancellation, or the groomer came in on her day off, I can't remember the specifics, and squeezed the dogs in. Which is awesome. This screams customer service, and going the extra mile to me. They let me know one of the dogs had a scratch on his paw when they gave him a bath, so we could keep an eye on it. I asked if it happened there or he had it before going in. Which the answer was before, and I'm pretty sure I know how it happened. But they seemed honest anyway, like if it had happened there, they would have told me. I love how stress-free it is for the dogs to go here for grooming. It's one of those noticeable things. Like, I've seen the dogs visibly agitated after going to PetSmart, and it can take a few hours to get them settled again. When I picked them up here, it was like any other normal day, and they got in the truck with me, and settled instantly. So that's a big deal to both me and my friend. Would I return here? Yes! I don't have dogs, so I'm not going unless it's to deal with my friend's dogs. But between everything he's told me and my own experience with his dogs here, it is an excellent business to support. She was wonderful, the new staff however, after more than a few frustrations, got to the point where I couldn't trust or have confidence anymore in what they did. I called a few clinics seeking advice, no one could take the time! Was crazy that on simple question around side effects, it would take scheduling an appt 'sometime next week' to talk about it! I called Coburg Veterinary Clinic and they addressed my concerns quickly, provided insight on what to watch for. Few days later, they went out of their way to check in on my kitty and I wasn't even their client. (yet!) My own vet didn't even do that after my initial 'urgent' visit. Let alone after the second/third phone call I had into them questioning medications they prescribed. I couldn't move my animals fast enough! Not only does Dr. Michele and her crew care about your animals, they treat you with kindness, sincerity, honesty and talk with you on a very real and human level. They go out of their way to be there for your animals, take quality time and you can tell they truly care about their work. Thank you Dr. Michele! Megan and Nikki for all you do!
