He picked up my laptop, and spent several hours trying to access the hard drive, where lots of important stuff for my business was stored. Alas, he (nor anyone else, because I had tried others first) couldn't fix it, because it was a mechanical error. I tried to pay him something for his diagnostic efforts, but he refused to take a penny. After installing a new hard drive, I couldn't get the OS to load. Again, HP said it was a hardware (motherboard) issue, and it would take $300+ to fix. Called Brad, who asked to take another look. That evening (!) he called to say that not only had he identified the issue, but had fixed it (and it wasn't the motherboard), and was in the process of loading all the factory settings. He also threw in a cooling pad, because the HD had failed from overheating. Total cost? $150...and I would have paid more! This guy runs a business the way it should be run.
