My husband and I had begun looking for our first home with the help of another real estate company. And after a few weeks, we began to realize that the agent did not truly understand what we were looking for nor did he respond in a timely fashion to communication. To be honest, we were feeling very discouraged at that time. Since we were frustrated, my husband reached out to a friend who had just closed escrow on his house with the help of Steve Ngo from eTopRealEstate. From the first conversation we had with Steve, we knew we could trust him and boy did he exceed our expectations! Not only was he patient, efficient, and timely throughout the process; he answered the very many questions we had throughout it all. We began our search around Nov. 2015 and looked at about 50 homes until we found our dream home and were able to close in March 2015. Part of the reason it took awhile is due to the holidays and also because we can be picky! From looking for a house, applying for a loan, going through escrow, and even after-purchase fixes and issues, Steve was able to guide us through it all. More importantly, he quickly diffuses any problems that come up. When we had issues with our first lender providing things in a timely fashion (after we opened escrow), Steve helped us find another that was able to provide the same loan and was sooo much easier to work with (and able to close in 31-days no less). This is just an example of the many issues Steve was able to solve and he did so quickly, before we even had the chance to stress about it. He greatly reduces the stress and worry that so often bubbles up during the home-buying process. I honestly don't think we would have found our dream home or gotten through the process as quickly and as calmly as we did without Steve by our side. All in all, Steve is personable, knowledgeable, efficient, and so kind, which make him an amazing agent and an all-around great person. Truly, there are not enough words to fully describe or capture the full amount of experience and wisdom Steve brings to the table as a real estate agent. On a side note, it is telling when a company is able to pull-in the majority of clients through referrals, which is no small feat and something that eTopRealEstate has done effortlessly. Trust me, these 5-star reviews are no fluke, they are just that good! read more

I recently purchased a home with Steve as seller. I want to extend my deepest gratitude for closing early, smooth and organized. Me and my agent have discussed our strong impression of Steve and would like to recommend him to anyone looking for a realtor. We opened escrow and closed in 22 days for a loan purchase. He went above and beyond to help us out too during this pandemic by being sensitive to buyer needs and timeline. We got to move-in the house early as lockdown/stay-at-home orders were at height. He and I worked on all contingencies promptly and with sense of urgency. Him being very considerate, savvy and true has garnered our family's gratitude and respect. I have no doubt that he will continue succeeding in this profession. Competent, compassionate and honorable. read more

We have been trying to get into contact with Steve Ngo and the company. This particular company does not exist in the address that is stated in the post. They have taken our keys and have not answered any of our phone calls, emails, or text messages. It has been 6 months and they have totally disappeared, even though they were managing our properties. When we went to the address indicated, the company or the people don't exist anymore. We have been searching for them and will get onto legal actions if we can't find them anymore. read more

We rarely had to think about the property because he would do everything. Steve also ended up selling the property for us. He made it a very smooth transaction and closed before the deadline we set for him. He did his best to negotiate the best price and weeded out all the unsatisfactory offers. Steve would be an excellent choice for both property management as well as buying or selling real estate. If you are looking for someone dependable, give Steve a try. read more

Resourceful, knowledgeable, and thorough are three traits that I immediately think of regarding Mike. Mike helped me sell my condo quickly in Diamond Bar after my listing with another agent was going stale for 40+ days on MLS. He started out with providing a detailed market assessment to help me determine a fair asking price. Using his multi-pronged marketing approach, he worked diligently to drive traffic to our open house. The result exceeded my expectations. He is always on top of the whole transaction and provided me status regularly. I was initially reluctant in selecting an agent without any references from people I know, but I feel very lucky to have discovered him. Highly recommended! read more

We have come to a decision to sell our lovely home that we grew to love and attach so much. From our past experiences, we know that finding the "right person" to do the job is the key to the success. We looked for a person with these qualities; 1. Can do/will do/positive attitude. 2. Expertise & knowledgeable. 3. Good characters. Our goal is to achieve 3 wins; buyer, seller, agent all wins to consider a happy ending. Mike Chou exceeds our expectations in all. I am very thankful of his help. He will be my agent of choice from now on. Thank you so much! Mike. You made this seemly complicated task simple, and stressful situations peaceful. Job well done! read more

Mike and Steve both went above and beyond in trying to help my wife and I find the perfect house. Within 2 months we were able to find the perfect house and close escrow. We mostly worked with Steve who was very patient and explained the whole process to us thoroughly. As this was our first home purchase, it was difficult to see the little things in houses that could become a bigger issue in the future. However, because Steve has had experience in flipping houses, he was able to point out many problems with houses that we would have never even noticed. This shows that he is looking out for our best interest and cares very much about his clients. Steve made made sure we were well informed and kept us up to date with current information almost daily. No matter what time of day, he always available through email, text or the phone. Steve handled all of the negotiations/communication each party which made the process so simple and smooth. We could not have gone through this process without going crazy if it wasn't for Steve. When all the odds were against us, Mike Chou really pulled through! My parents had recently decided to sell their home in Walnut and I had referred Mike's services. Within a week of putting the property on the market, our neighbor listed his property as well... at about 100k under market value. This obviously affected our listing as we started getting low ball offers. My parents started losing confidence in our asking price... at this point if he wanted to take the easy way out, Mike could've advised them to lower the price to meet current market... luckily Mike had advise them that the price is correct and they should not lower their price. In order to get more proper exposure to the home, Mike and his team started unleashing their artillery! More open houses, catering, youtube vids, facebook blasts, etc.. they left no opportunity untouched! And surely enough, the house sold without having to settle for a lower price! Thanks Mike! I would highly recommend a very diligent agent to anyone! read more
