I had a terrible experience with Westlake Escrow. It took them several weeks to send me the escrow materials after our offer was accepted on a condo, but the time I received everything, it was already past the date I needed to have the money in the account. It just got worse from there after the money was received, I got several confusing emails about the wire transfer, I guess they didn't understand them. The worst part, once our sale fell out of escrow, I was told they would mail me back my $30,000. I never received that check. After weeks of calling, they finally wired the money back to my bank, for additional fees, and only after I got the bank involved to call them and ask where the money was. If you have a choice in an escrow company and care about your life savings, please do not use them. They are irresponsible. read more

DON'T do business with this Westlake Escrow. Liz, the owner of this company, and our escrow officer, never returned and answered our calls during the escrow period. She never disclosed and failed to provide reports on time before close of escrow. She simply asked her officer to inform us to wire the funds to her escrow and asked us to sign all the waiver sheets for the duties that her escrow cannot complete by the last day of escrow. THIS WESTLAKE ESCROW completely ruined up the transaction. read more
