My Wassily chair arrived, and I noticed that one side of the arm rest has a lot of (ugly) wrinkles. The other side has a white scratch mark. I immediately emailed them with 5 close-up pictures for a possible exchange/refund/resolution. They told me that these wrinkles are natural patina. They may be natural but they're NOT patina. I've shown it to multiple people including a person who works with leather and they've all agreed it's not. Who would buy a brand new leather chair and expect to see part of it wrinkled up like that? SHADY. Like you, I decided to play odds with the very mixed reviews on eternity modern. I'd like to say shame on me for thinking paying $4000 for a sofa would hopefully have you not treated like a flaming bag of dog sh*t but that just isn't the case. They shipped my order, and falsely marked it delivered so they could stay within the boundaries of their own shipping policy. I had to call the third party shipping service (who is honestly great, and very responsive) and to my shock, they had NO recollection of the order. We checked the order number, and even the security footage, and there was absolutely NO proof of delivery ever happening. I contacted eternity modern about this, and they assured me the white glove delivery had my item, and kindly gave me the contact information to someone at Elite Anywhere (their white glove partner). The contact info is to that of a person who no longer even works there. I called them yesterday AND today (they have no record of our phone call yesterday, because let me tell you, you REALLY do matter to these people). The customer service rep told me he would LIKELY be able to "FIND" my $4000 sofa in 3 days. I finally asked if it was at all possible to have the delivery fee of $600 waived, since this experience had been so horrific, and Eternity Modern happily informed me they would not do so because they still have two days left in their policy to FIND my missing item. I bought a chair from them 1.5 years ago. This was an expensive chair. I used it very gently, and not frequently at all. the wood of the chair separated while sitting in it. I reached out to the team but they said that warranty expires within a year and there's nothing they can do. I would strongly recommend against using them. I got an advertisement on instagram for an ultrafragola mirror from eternity modern. The original is $11,000 which I cannot afford, so when I saw this one was $2089, I got really excited. Granted, 2 grand is still pretty expensive for a mirror, but I could muster up enough to pay it. I notice after I pay for it the words "reproduction." I wasn't sure what that meant at first because I originally bought the item thinking I had found an authentic ultrafragola for a really good deal. (Silly me.) I realized after I already bought it that reproduction means replica and not authentic/original. I read eternity modern's "why you should buy from us" page which states their reproductions are "identical to the original" and quality was "premium" with a "strict protocol." This relieved me because I felt I could trust what I would receive would be a. High quality and b. Indistinguishable from the original. So, I didn't cancel my order and waited patiently. The order took a month to arrive. it arrived in a huge crate which was at least 10x the weight of the mirror itself. when opened, i saw the mirror had a back completely made of cardboard which was completely ripped apart. i took it out the box and plugged it in. within minutes, the led lights started flashing like it was broken. I used the remote to try to adjust the colors, and I saw some of the lights don't even change color! They stay blue and green even if you turn the color to pink which is the color of the original ultrafragola. I immediately knew I had been scammed and sold a piece of yard junk for 2 grand. I inspected the mirror and saw 3/4 bolts in the front are also completely missing. I contacted eternity modern with pictures and videos. They insisted it must have been an issue with the transportation/delivery. However, the huge box it arrived it was actually in perfect condition. The mirror is just so poor quality and made out of low grade cardboard that it wouldn't have survived no matter what packaging it came in. the customer service offered to send me a new one, but I declined. this thing is not worth the time, money, or trouble! Eternity modern: you falsely represented this item as an "identical replica" when it holds structural issues that are completely different than the original. The bolts in the back when the original has bolts on the side. The cheap cardboard. The top that is shaped completely differently than the original. And besides the structural and quality issues, it was completely damaged! Besides the damage, the item itself is misrepresented. therefore, I don't want a replacement mirror or one like it. I got a sofa from them, first of all one piece was not delivered! secondly the quality was horrible, the sofa is so low we actually get back ache sitting on it for more than 10 minutes... and they don't take any responsibility their return policy is ridiculous. Terrible Awful Horrific Customer Service!!!!! I ordered a $2300 coffee table on 7/11. On 7/19 the order status stated it was unloaded & arrived local facility & delivery was ready to be scheduled. After reaching out to deliveright their delivery partner, they deferred me to another delivery partner, who informed me that my order status was on hold, and she could not help me schedule delivery without any reason and then reached out to eternity, modern and right, who had no answers for me. I called. I emailed I virtually chatted for days, only to receive a nonchalant email from a "manager" named Mona who informed me that my actual order is still in fact at the warehouse and never was shipped out. No reasoning. No compensation. A lousy "apologies" when I asked for a phone call and called and left several messages. No manager would speak to me. None of the reps can help me or assist me and Mona responded in a condescending manner saying so that there's no misunderstanding. xyz. Between my frustration with wasting my time trying to figure out what was happening to not being able to have my coffee table sooner... to now having to wait another week+ ... The cherry on top was definitely Mona's rude response and nonchalant. The customer service rep told me that she was the only person working and Mona was the only manager. I can talk to yet emailing her requesting a call three times wasn't sufficient enough for her to pick up the phone and let me know what was going on. This is ghetto customer service. How can a company get away with admitting they used subpar materials, and then charge the customer thousands of dollars to return it?! They are nothing but THIEVES! I ordered a couch from Eternity Modern on September 21st 2023 and the couch arrived December 20th 2023. After unpacking all 7 boxes, we quickly realized the couch had horrendous build quality. The fabric on every single piece has flaws, which honestly, is the least of our problems. They offered replacement covers, but if the brand new ones are messed up, how would sending different ones be any better and what will those look like after 6 months of use? The name of the couch is extrasoft and we ordered the seats in the 2 softest options offered, yet they are rock hard....like if you sat down quickly, it would know the wind out of you. What's even worse, the couch (that is supposedly down) crinkles loudly like you're sitting on a plastic sheet. How embarrassing! I emailed them immediately letting them know of the flawed build quality and that I would like to return the couch for a full refund. After sending them all the proof they requested, they took 9 business days to tell me that they will let me keep it and refund $1500, or replace it with another one. If they couldn't make it right the first time, not sure why I'd have confidence in them making it right a 2nd time. After declining the offer, they said they don't normally offer refunds (also a lie), but they would make an exception (with me taking an almost $3k hit) to return it. If I was simply changing my mind and no longer liked the style, I'd be happy to pay the price. I, as the customer, did not make the horrible quality product, therefore I should not be the one financially penalized for receiving the terrible product and needing to return it. I confirm what previous reviewers are saying about their fabric chairs: The foam under the fabric is not dense enough, which means you sink low enough that you can't comfortably reach your table. Also, the fabric puckers after you sit on it for even a few seconds. And as others have said, they refuse to take responsibility, claiming it's "natural and within allowable limits of production." I ordered the Saarinen Executive Side Chair with Wood Legs. To replace the foam in 8 chairs cost $1,000. In addition, the legs were not even. I had to spend another $250 to have shims added so the chairs wouldn't tip back and forth. I discourage anyone from buying from them. read more

If I could give it zero stars, I would. I wish that before purchasing from this company I had read some of these other reviews, particularly the one where someone asserts they wouldn't wish this company on their worst enemy. Alas, I did not and am now out over $2000. I ordered the Pavilion chair and ottoman in white leather in May with the understanding that I would be able to pick the items up within 48 hours. I made an appointment via the link on their website and received an automated email confirmation for my selected time slot--then a day prior to pick up I received another email from the company letting me know that they would contact me when the items were ready for pickup. I got in touch to clarify what was going on with my order and was left hanging until June when they finally explained that the chair was damaged and that the ottoman wasn't going to ship for 12-14 weeks. My new apartment was still virtually empty so I agreed to receive the damaged chair on the grounds that they would provide replacement cushions once the shipment containing them arrived later around the time that I could expect the matching ottoman. They expressed regret for the inconvenience and personally delivered the item and--naive as I was--I assumed everything would be fine. I received an email some months later notifying me that my items were ready for pickup so I once again got in touch to clarify the situation as they had previously communicated that they would be delivering the items to make up for the inconvenience. Naturally, I was left hanging before delivery was eventually coordinated. They'd tried delivering my items previously to a wrong address so I made sure that they had the right one on file this time (the customer care representative even sent me a screenshot to confirm) but they still went to the wrong address. When their warehouse worker did arrive, he tried to leave before we could inspect the items and thank god we did because the replacement cushions were in the wrong colour and the ottoman was missing entirely. We were unable to accept the delivery due to receiving incorrect items and though the guy said he would talk to his boss and bring the ottoman in 2 days, that, of course, didn't happen. After being left hanging again and then wasting a bunch of my time explaining the situation in all the back and forth, delivery of the replacement cushions in the right colour as well as the ottoman I was still waiting on was finally arranged. When it was delivered, the shipper would only deliver it to the lobby, so I, a petite disabled woman, had to arrange for assistance to get it up into my apartment while in the meantime my landlord had to field angry calls from the building manager about the big boxes in the lobby. I had a bad feeling as soon as I saw the boxes because the smaller one that looked to contain the cushions I was expecting looked to have been previously opened and then haphazardly taped shut and to no one's surprise when it was eventually wrangled into my residence and finally unboxed, it became immediately apparent that they had resent the wrong coloured cushions that I had sent back with the guy the last time. The ottoman was also in the wrong colour. Re-taping the box and resending the wrong coloured cushions after repeated communication regarding the issue was quite frankly in bad faith. I think they purposefully used a third party shipper to try to dump the wrong items on me again in the hopes that I would drop the matter when confronted with the prospect of reengaging with their customer care process. Extremely dishonest conduct. Back to customer care, over, and over, and over......and over....and over again. They tried to gaslight me into accepting that it was really just an issue with the dye lot (the fine print on their website notes that they won't be held responsible for "slight colour variations") before being forced to capitulate that I had indeed received the wrong items after I had to go to the effort of supplying extensive evidence that it was indeed the WRONG COLOUR ENTIRELY--a colour they do specifically sell, just not the colour I ordered. They don't intend to provide me a refund until they process the recall at their warehouse despite the fact that it is now October and they have had my money since May. Next steps are unclear, but it seems that, ideally for them, I am to be left at the mercy of whichever branch of their hopelessly disorganized company is responsible for "recall processing". I'm pretty sure I'm just going to be forced to go to the further effort of filing a complaint with VISA to get a chargeback. Throughout this ludicrous trial it honestly hasn't been clear to me whether I'm being intentionally scammed or whether this company suffers from such mismanagement that it's customers are just left feeling as though they have been ripped off--I am actually still unsure. We admired their furniture online but felt wary about purchasing such an expensive item online, so we drove several hours and made a mini-vaycay to visit the BC store. Parking was readily available and free. The showroom was not huge, but not cluttered. The furniture looked like it did online, but the quality did not seem as solid and long-lasting as pieces we've viewed and tried at other stores. We were looking for a sofa to last over five years. Nevertheless, their price point is fair and the staff was friendly. We were helped by someone who usually is not out on the floor, but seemed knowledgeable about the color choices and order process. We did ask about all the negative delivery reviews we read on Yelp and they didn't seem to know about them, just explained the return process and restock fee if that would be necessary for a defective item, not a mind-change (other stores we visited allowed a trial process and then return (with restock and shipping, of course). Glad we visited, though, it allowed us to confirm that the looks don't equal the quality, however, the price point is fair for a trendy product. read more

During unprecedent times around the world, everyone can of course understand and accept mess-ups, delays, and issues but what Eternity Modern has failed to done is inform their customers, handle customer service, and frankly just simply respond to emails anymore. If you do any research on the company, you'll see recent reviews from 2021 to 2022 all being negative. They used to have a phone number you can call which they no longer seem to have. I eventually got a refund for the sofa but it cost $1000 to return and ship and they had already charged $500 to send it. So out of pocket $1500. My warning is don't buy furniture online. I ordered 4 Gubi Chairs on 7/31/2017, and got them on 10/25 after multiple delays. I was very disappointed in the chairs I received. 1. The chair seat was too low. When you sit on the chair, you will end up 16.5" from the bottom of the ground. This is lower than the average dining chair height from the ground which is about 18". The original gubi chair has a seat height of 18.1". 2. I emailed customer service requesting a refund, noting that 1. their website says they make "identical" replicas 2, the dimension on their website says the chair should be 17.5", although I was only able to measure 16.5". 3. The company emailed me back taking no responsibility. Apparently their 17.5" measurement is not from the bottom of the seat to the ground, but from the top. Additionally, there is fine print on the website that says "all measurements are approximate". Funny that they list measurements down to 1 decimal point when the measurements are "approximate". This basically means they can send you chairs with any dimension and not have to take responsibility. Lastly, their website advertises that their furniture is "identical" to the original, when it is clearly not. The original Gubi chairs would have been perfect for a regular dining table, but these knock off ones are much too low for a dining table. I'm having trouble even finding a place for them as side chairs. 3. Lastly - their return policy is a total joke. It is designed to prevent you from returning. They have a 14 day return policy, where the customer must contact in 10 days, pay for return shipping as well as the original shipping cost as well as a 30% restocking fee. By the time all of these fees are applied, you will have lost 50% of the value of your purchase. I was unsuccessful in getting support from my credit card company - who could not do anything based on the "all measurements are approximate" disclosure. I just want to help others avoid a similar experience. This is not a company that cares about its customers. They advertise with misleading statements on their website, saying they offer "identical" replicas, and have asterisks everywhere absolving them from any liability.
