Great service given by the technicians and Landon Henderson, but you need to watch out for Ciaran Olsen (the current owner of Shack Shine Vancouver Central). He will try to milk you out of as much money as possible while insisting dangerous/sub-par practices from the crew on job sites. It really is a shame that most customers have to deal with Ciaran's empty promises, so PLEASE pay attention to the work being done at your home! Ciaran will insist on short cuts that could even damage your property! There have been a few technicians and Lead-Technicians that have told me they refuse to work under Ciaran now - mainly due to him not caring about his employees safety. But they also raise the point that they wanted to do quality work at job sites, but their ability was often sabotaged by Ciaran because he didn't want them to spend enough time at a property in order to save himself some money! read more

Shack Shine came back to clean my house to get it ready for summer. They showed up on time again, even though we are out of the way in Burnaby. They also clean my front sidewalk which wasn't included they just wanted to do it which was nice. I was really impressed how nice they were to my kids, and Alex one of the techs was really good with our dog and ensured the gate stayed close even though it was harder for him to manage the house with the pressure washer. Shack Shine cleaned and prepped our building ready for painting this summer. The service was very professional, price was right and the result was spectacular. Additionally, the guys bent over backwards to fix an unforeseen issue once it was discovered. Christmas Lights installed and absolutely fabulous. The crew was friendly polite, had the lights up and sparking in a few hours. This is the third time I have used them for lights, and they are great! I have also used them for power washing and for gutter cleaning for 3 years now and they are attentive to the details. Pedro's team washed the outside of my house. They were super careful not to damage the paint job which was a concern of mine, but they insured me they could clean off the dirt/ green without damaging it. The two guys from Shack Shine who came over to my home yesterday on a Saturday and put up lights for me for the fourth year were awesome. They always ensure the timer is working/ the lights all work, and go out of their way to be friendly.
