I booked about a week in advance with Shack Shine for a post-renovation clean. When I booked I requested that Shack Shine call me to talk about the scope of the job. No phone call despite me following up by email (x2). I could not call them myself either because any contact to the company goes to the head office rather than the local franchise actually doing the job. So you are stuck with email and a 1-888 number if you want to try to reach them. Day of the job, they did not come at all. Just a total no-show. No call, no text, nothing during the arrival window. I stayed home from work to meet them for no reason, apparently. Eventually, someone texted after their supposed arrival window had elapsed to say that they can't come, don't do post-renovation cleans but that maybe could come do the job in a week or so?!?! No thank you. Now I have been left to scramble and find someone new so that I can move back into my house as planned this weekend.
